| | HBP still on a high at Amazon Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is still riding high on top at Amazon! It is #1 on both the kids list and the general ranking.
Also, the deluxe edition of the sixth book has risen to #6 on the charts, Order of the Phoenix is up to #12, and the five-book paperback boxed set is at #17.

ohh i will beg mom to let me purchase it on the net! i think she's a little nervous about buying things from the net because of hackers.. but i dunno how but i managed to purchase fant. beasts and where to find them and quidditch through the ages when i was at paris to visit my sis. and they delivered it like in a day, well i waited for the french post to deliver to my sis' adress, however when mom saw the books (and the price.. plus they don't sell those books in turkey..) she was impressed. And i'm sure amazon will be a lot cheaper than the bookshops in turkey (ootp was about 40$ or something-paperback!) so i think after a few more days begging mom, i'll purchase one.. oh god i really talk a lot
andd about the books being #1! well they really ARE worth it arent they! JKR, a person with such imagination, creativity and talent, deserves everything! i'm sure it will stay this way until the book is out and after that the prints will be out of stock (i dunno if you say it like that?) and then people are going to go crazy.. ok i really talk a lot.. sorry! aaaand bye!

I was thinking of pre-ordering it from Amazon, but due to our slow post, I'd probably receive it a day or two later, which wouldn't be fun at all.
So I ordered it from one of the local shops, which is still good of course. And I'll still receive it on day 1.
But anway, what I meant to say all along is that HBP rocks, as do all the HP books!!! I don't think there's ever been a more anticipated book in the history of literature!

All of JKR's books deserve to be on top. I can't wait to see what wonders HBP has in store for us. Speaking of stores, I preordered mine at our barnes and nobles so I can pick it up at midnight! Can't wait to read it!

that's cool..there're so few books like HP who are bestsellers even before they're published...can't wait for the 16th..i can imagine myself sittign in my room all night n reading hp, only to leave once to let my mum have her chance to read hbp!
p.s. isnt jkr taking forever to update her site..i guess there's not much news now, plus she has her kids...still..

I know I pre-ordered my copy from Amazon.com like in December when they announced pre-orders. They guarantee delievery on July 16th and you don't have to leave the house to stand in line for it. :ballcap:
