The Advertiser has a brief summary of the some of the prices that stores are charging for 'Half-Blood Prince', in Australia.

Don Grover, chief executive of the Dymocks group of companies, says, in relation to revealing the prices before the sale, "One of the great frustrations then for customers was that they wanted to order the book but no one would tell them what the price was going to be. We thought there was a lot of mileage to be gained by guaranteeing the price."

Aww man... here in Malaysia it's about RM 89.90. Thats a lot, for a book, and therefore only for my HP and LOTR. *hugs books*

We;re getting ripped off quite a bit, because the convert should be : RM 68.

I suppose they are taking in the fact that they will be bringing it here on the day itself, and courier, bla bla, so I can't complain. Ah well. *waits impatiently for HBP to come out* Another 79 days!

Yeah, that'd be about $AU25-30, depending on the rate. There is a price, at Dymocks, and QBU (if you live in QLD) it's set at $29.95, which would be about $US18, £13-ish. But I think for most other stores, they'll let you order it, but won't tell you the price until it's been finalized.

I ordered mine at Dymocks.
