HBP popular with parliamentarians

'Half-Blood Prince' is reportedly the third favourite holiday reading matter for British parliamentarians this year.

The 'Da Vinci Code' came in first, with the biography of William Pitt the Younger taking second place.

Wow  . I mean, of course! It's HPB for crying out loud!:poke:
Good for them...

Wait! wOOt wOOt!! first to post!

Nixhearted 08-22-2005 09:26 AM

Cool! That means that even if it may be seen as Children's fiction, parliamentarians still read it. The Da Vinci Code is a brain teaser more than anything, and HBP would probably suit their easing minds after such wormbling theories.

Ruxanda 08-22-2005 09:41 AM

Wow! This is so cool! I can't believe they actually read HBP! I wish the parliamentarians in my country read this book too...

purplebublz 08-22-2005 09:44 AM

Who knows, maybe they picked up some tips on running the country!!

I think HP is at the top of all the possible lists you could think of...I mean, it's great, everyone likesit....

Wonderstruck 08-22-2005 11:13 AM

I've never read The Da Vinci Code, but I have heard of it. It's not surprising that it is high up in the list. I mean is known by so many people, and a lot of people like the books so it's no wonder why it's number third on the list^^

Ally 08-22-2005 11:17 AM

WOW! i haven't read the DaVinci code, but it seems nice. HBP third? that is Cool. who is on the second place?
