The 2017 Toy Fair in New York City did not disappoint when it came to unveiling new Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts-themed products, much more so than in previous years. The usual suspects, including The Noble Collection and Funko, had massive displays of Harry Potter merchandise at the trade show for exhibitors to promote and retailers to purchase, but there were many more smaller companies that are set to sell exclusive official items, all approved from Warner Bros.
First off was The Noble Collection, and the minute-long clip below only shows about half of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts items on display - both classic (like wands) and new (Fantastic Beasts creatures). All are either already available, or will be on sale later this year.
Ukonic LLC has the monopoly on Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts-themed lighting displays, which, the team told SnitchSeeker this weekend, will expand out to wands, robes, rugs, lamps, decals, and much more. A small preview can be found here.
Retailers Paladone got the market on Hogwarts-themed drinkware, cards, decals, notebooks and more that are scheduled for release later this year.
Quantum Mechanix are already selling some of the Harry Potter notebooks shown below, and Harry figures - including of Harry's first spell (already available), and Harry's final spell, which will be out later this year.
Wonder Forge will finally be releasing the long-awaited Harry Potter (and now Fantastic Beasts-included) Pictopia game, which is similar to Trivial Pursuit but with, of course, photos. The Wonder Forge team told SnitchSeeker that the game will be out this spring, so keep an eye out for that.
For those who love puzzles, Fascinations Inc. sells 3D metal sets of many famous locations and characters, including Hagrid's Hut, the Hogwarts Express, and Golden Snitch, as shown below, and already available online.
Fans may recall the first Harry Potter Chibi-inspired items released last fall, but now a full line of stickers, magnets, puzzles and more including dozens of characters will be out later this year, courtesy of Re-marks. While SnitchSeeker could not reveal all of the figures, a few teasers can be seen below (and other sets will include students, Professors, Order of the Phoenix members, Death Eaters, and much more).
An assortment of items, including Hogwarts House-themed mugs, pins and pens, and much more, are already available through Monogram Inc., as seen here.
Finally, and to no surprise, no Toy Fair would be complete with the Funko collection. This year's display featured many of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts products already available, including the pens (the only Funko that includes Ginny Weasley so far).
A few items were not available to be seen by the public or photographed, including the new Harry Potter items that will be sold this fall from USAopoly (who brought the official Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit and world-building game to life), as well as Elope's massive Fantastic Beasts collection. All of that will be reported on here as soon they are available for purchase online.
