Would you be surprised if I told you that there are less children in need of emergency medical assistance on the nights of the releases of the Harry Potter novels? Well, its true! According to doctors working in a British hospital, the average of 67 children needing medical assistance due to accidents, has been lowered to an average of 36 on Saturday, June 21st 2003 and Saturday, July 16th 2005. These are the nights of the releases of
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and of
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. J. K. Rowling owes herself a pat on the back for this!
