Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 1 & 2 Ultimate Editions Blu-ray sold at Target
 

Confirming rumours, the Ultimate Editions of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2 are currently available for purchase at Target stores exclusively in the United States, beginning this past Tuesday through January 6, 2013.

The sets, only available in Blu-ray, Target told SnitchSeeker, can be bought directly at the stores presently, as they are not available at Target.com. SnitchSeeker headed to Target today and took a few shots of the Deathly Hallows Ultimate Edition set, marked as Year 7, seen below.

The six-disc Blu-ray sets, with an estimated $50 price tag, include the films, extra features found on the regular Blu-ray sets of Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2 released last year, and the final two installments of the Creating the World of Harry Potter documentary: "Story" and "Growing Up."

As the photos above show, the Ultimate Edition box set comes with a photo book chronicling the series, and four character cards: Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Bellatrix Lestrange, and Lord Voldemort.

One last note for those not near a Target store or outside the United States - Warner Home Video already confirmed to SnitchSeeker earlier this month that the Ultimate Editions of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2 will be available for purchase worldwide before the year's end.

Ugh! I just got the definitive collection and the Avengers collection. I will need another job soon. On the other hand I was just complaining that they never did the last ultimate editions. :-/

I went to two local Targets and couldn't find it. A worker checked the inventory and told me that each store received one copy. Ugh! I guess I will have to wait until they mass release it or Warner start selling it.

I don't know where their Target stores are, but mine is only charging $49.99. I've talked to other people on different forums and that's their price too. One Target I went to had 3 copies and another had 2. I think a lot of people aren't seeing them because they have them laying down with only a little shelf edge sticker with the price. I was sooo tempted to buy it even though I have the Wizards Collection...I'm so obsessive :head:

Phoenix1 I asked the clerk to check the inventory and they didn't have it. Now I'm in HP heaven since I checked near work and they had two copies and they told me that they received only 3 copies.

So, only at Target? What about those of us who don't live anywhere near one? I have to drive over 2 hours and cross the border to get to the closest one. :(

I wonder that are those the Ultimate Editions of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2 same discs what are inside of Harry Potter Wizard's Collection Box Set (Blu-ray + DVD + UV Copy)

I mean is there same extra features what are that HP Wizard´s Collection boxset discs (Hp-Deathly hallows part 1 and part 2 discs) or has those 2 The Ultimate Edition HP -deathly hallows part 1 & part 2 discs different extras?

Anyone who knows it and what extra features those ultimate discs include?
