'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' script book confirmed at 320 pages long

For everyone wondering about the length of the upcoming Harry Potter and the Cursed Child rehearsal script book, look no further - the tome, out July 31, 2016, will be 320 pages long, as confirmed by U.S. publisher Scholastic and Warner Bros.

This is the sequel to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, taking place around the time of the epilogue, 19 years after the end of the second wizarding world war against Lord Voldemort.

The Eighth Story. Nineteen Years Later.

Readers and moviegoers last saw Harry Potter waving off his children at Platform 9 3/4 nineteen years after the Battle of Hogwarts. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child picks up after that moment, and it's officially the eighth story in the Harry Potter canon. Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the new play by Jack Thorne that will open in London on July 30.

Now you can own the special Rehearsal Edition of the play in a handsome 320-page hardcover format and follow the adventures of Harry and his friends, even if you can't make it to the opening night of the play!
Pre-order the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child hardcover text on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and WBShop now.

Again, the eighth book will not be in novel format, but as a play script by J.K. Rowling and playwright Jack Thorne, and will encompass everything in both parts.

That's a good size. I hope none of the surviving Harry Potter characters die. Looking forward to this with a mixture of joy and nervousness. :woot: :whaa:

Worth noting that this book is probably going to be a larger size compared to the Potter novels. Probably around the size of the illustrated edition book.
