Happy birthday, Evanna Lynch, plus new trailer for short film "Apex" Today, August 16, marks actress Evanna Lynch's birthday! Evanna, the young Irish Harry Potter book fanatic who beat out thousands of hopefuls to play the role of Ravenclaw student Luna Lovegood in the film series, turns 21 years old today. Also, Evanna and several young actors starred in a short feature called Apex, focusing on five people who survived in Los Angeles as a human evolution-changing virus spreads across the United States.
