Half-Blood Prince has been longlisted for nomination consideration for 7 BAFTA awards in the categories of; Make-Up & Hair, Special Visual Effects, Sound, Costume Design, Production Design, Cinematography and Supporting Actor (Alan Rickman as Severus Snape).
Nominations will be announced January 21st, when the finalists will be narrowed down from fifteen to five. The awards ceremony will take place at the Royal Opera House in London, England on February 21st.
That's awesome. And it's great that at least one Half-Blood Prince cast member was nominated for an acting category. Go Alan Rickman! Overall, congrats to the HBP cast and crew. Bring home the trophies!
Congrats for all of these nominations the cast and crew truly deserve them, and congratulations especially to Alan Rickman for his perfect portrayal of Severus Snape! It is brilliant that he is getting such recognition.
