Film distributor Lionsgate just bought the North American rights to Gary Oldman’s latest horror flick The Backwoods, which means it will be showing in U.S. theatres next year.
A quick synopsis of the film: Quote:
Set in the summer of 1978, the film depicts the apparently quiet holiday of a couple of English tourists who travel to a friend's house in a Basque village, where they find a girl in a cabin in the woods with deformed hands. In a tale of mounting violence, they anger local villagers when they try to help her.
