French Deathly Hallows cover art revealed (UPDATED) As we reported earlier, with the release of the French edition of the final Harry Potter book approaching, Gallimard, the French publishers, have finally released the cover art by artist Jean-Claude Götting via their official website. You can view a larger version here in our galleries, as well as just the front cover here. Thanks to UHP! |
Looks nice, though I prefer the US version. |
i think the cover is bit boring!! |
Yeah, It's a bit boring. I think they should put a little more interesting scene on the cover. |
I don't really like it, the other covers are better. |
Oooo, I'm going to get it just to be able to try to read it |
The French covers of the other books are pretty boring too. xD I don't really like that artist's style; not enough details, in my opinion. |
I agree that the other ones are better, but I think that this one is only missing more vibrant colors, because for the rest, the choice of scene and the feeling of the drawing is very good. |
great pic! |
I agree, Evy. Most of them have been rather boring. |
It looks okay, I guess. I was never really impressed with the French HP covers and stuff. glad I like the one I already have. :) |

Looks quite interesting, but not my particular taste. |
I like the U.S. cover better. |
Yeah... it's not the greatest.. |
oo..nice |
Kinda reminds you of calligraphy huh?:P |
I like how it represents a different scene and mood of the book, althought the colors are a bit bland for me |
its a bit bland, but i still like it |
It's okay, but i prefer the US cover more. |
Should have had a different scene then shell cottage. But it isnt the worst one ive seen. |
aaawwww...darn...i just cryed a little... |
It's good but I like the other covers more. |
Who on the back cover?? Harry, Ron and ...er..Dean?? I think that supposed to be since He was with them while they were digging for Dobby's grave but I see it's Hermione... |
I like the fact Hermione's hand is on Ron's shoulder. :) *fires cannons* |
