| | |  Fleur Delacour absent from Half-Blood Prince?
In a new interview Clémence Poésy (Fleur Delacour) spoke about her experience working on Goblet of Fire and stated that she hasn't been contacted in regards to working on Half-Blood Prince. Quote:
For Harry Potter, I spent eight months in London. I was lucky, I am very grateful the producers chose me. They work with class, honesty and ethics. They only see how they leave their free and independent young performers. My participation was modest. I was flattered to find myself on the poster, given the scale of the phenomenon. If I was recognized on the street, it was thanks to Harry Potter. I have not read the last two books. I know that my character returns, but I have not been contacted for the sixth movie.
Nothing is for certain about her role in the sixth film, but we hope to hear something official soon. Half-Blood Prince will be released Nov. 21st 2008.

Maybe the scenes in the Burrow aren't especially important (An excess of Phlegm) but the scenes after the battle, with Bill wounded and all that, are esential to the story. Let's hope they don't cut them.

I was very disappointed not to see Fleur looking at Bill in GOF, I thought it was adorable in the book. aka there is no sign of a relationship building meaning that maybe they will not make her reappear along side with Bill. If so then ew...DH will not have either of them which is awful imo. D:

*Big sigh* Does anyone else think that they are now making the films for fans of the FILMS, and not the BOOKS. Do they not realize how vital some of these characters are to the storylines; even if they themselves don't do much, their actions set HUGE bits of the story in motion. Might as well leave out Greyback too, no point in him being around if Bill isn't around for him to savage. And if you take away the wedding and all, we miss meeting Xeno & Auntie Muriel, the news that the Ministry has fallen, the escape of the Trio, Shell Cottage, Ollivander, Griphook, and the whole Gringotts break-in!
