| | |  February 20th: GoF DVD release date in China
The ' Goblet of Fire' DVD will be released in China on February 20th.
Warner Home Video and China Audio and Video Corporation have stated that the early release is due to piracy. The DVD will have English/Mandarin/Chinese dubs and Chinese captions and will cost 22 China yuan.
Other DVD release dates are as follows:
March 7th - US release
March 20th - UK release
March 22nd - Italy release
April 5th - Australia release
May 31st - France release

Thats good that they are getting it first but how is that going to stop piracy? It would prevent piracy if all were released at the same time.

As for Piracy, no matter what they do, it will always be. They've tried before to stop it, and failed completely. They've tried again, and again failed.and so it goes on forever...I don't think this time it will be much different...

I think at some level, they want as much fuss over it as possible - and the best way to do that is to rub it in the face of various countries that it is coming out in AMERICA before it hits Europe, which is the home of Potter sorry - i'm really hung up on that....
