'Fantastic Beasts' film casts Jon Voight's son, Senator Henry Shaw, Seraphina rumored American actor Josh Cowdery has been cast as Senator Henry Shaw, son of Jon Voight's character Henry Shaw, Sr., in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. When Fantastic Beasts shot on-location in Liverpool back in October, a crowd of extras (presumably No-Maj) were holding up a poster with Senator Shaw's face on it. Now, there is an actor to attach to the face on the banner. The crowd was also shouting 'We want a Second Salem!' so it's a wonder if the young Shaw is anti-wizard or not. There's also a rumour going around that Carmen Ejogo will play MACUSA President Seraphina Picquery in the first film, but please note that this has not been confirmed by Warner Bros., Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, Ejogo or anyone officially involved in the movie. <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them's first movie, starring Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, hits theaters and IMAX this November. |
Senator Shaw sounds like a nasty demagogue. Reminds me of someone in real life. ;) |
