'Fantastic Beasts' cast, crew attend Toronto fan event, talk US Presidential Election
The cast and crew of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them headed to the Toronto fan event on Tuesday leading up to Thursday's world premiere and November 18th theatrical release.
Stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol, and Dan Fogler were on hand at the event, along with director David Yates and producer David Heyman at Yonge-Dundas Square in Canada. While they walked the red carpet, a few of them stopped to chat exclusively with SnitchSeeker reporter and staffer Kaos.Doodles, who asked them about the timely 2016 U.S. Presidential Elections.
SnitchSeeker's Dani talked to Sudol and Waterston, American actresses who did vote in this year's elections, about who they and their magical counterparts - Queenie and Tina Goldstein - would vote for. Redmayne, Yates, and Heyman - who are of course all British - shared their thoughts on which candidate they would have voted for in this year's elections if they were able to; and, in Redmayne's case, he confessed with whom he believed Newt Scamander would side.
Up next is the world premiere of Fantastic Beasts, set to take place on Thursday, November 10th at the Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Square, New York City. SnitchSeeker will be at all events to cover live as the cast and crew - and special guests that include J.K. Rowling - arrive.
