'Fantastic Beasts' 5-minute comprehensive on-set visual effects awards film reel Warner Bros. released a comprehensive and chronological behind-the-scenes look at the visual effects of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, for BAFTA awards consideration in early February. The five minute clip starts off at the beginning of Fantastic Beasts, with Newt Scamander's journey aboard a ship heading to Ellis Island from Europe, to the very end epilogue scene featuring Jacob Kowalski's bakery, and how the award-winning visual effects team brought 1926 New York City and magical creatures to life on the big screen. Simply amazing, I didn't know half of these things was completely made in digital... Stunning, absolutely stunning! I'm really disappointed with the OSCAR jury's decision to not choose to nominee Fantastic Beasts in Best Visual Effects! They'd deserve it!!! |
just absolutely AMAZING the work that went into doing this. most of it was created digitally but when you see the film they all look so real, so SOLID. :loved: |
