'Fantastic Beasts' 2 first look at wizarding Circus Arcanus: Museum of Human Oddities

One of the more curious things noted about the plot and character details for the Fantastic Beasts sequel was the appearance of a circus in town.

Interestingly enough, said circus was originally meant to be in the first movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, but for whatever reason was cut. This is known due to the fact that MinaLima, the art designers of the film series, created the graphic below for the first movie.

For those who can't read the name properly, this is Circus Arcanus - Museum of Human Oddities. The poster shows that this circus was in New York City (where Newt starts off in the sequel), and as with many circus acts in the early 1900s, features an array of animals and human actors.

The poster has been on display at the House of MinaLima in London since around the time Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was released last November. SnitchSeeker's team even heard around that time that the poster was meant to be for the first movie, but will now be featured in the sequel.

Warner Bros.' press release confirmed two actors will take on roles as circus-related characters:

Quote:

Claudia Kim plays a young woman we first meet as a featured attraction at a wizarding circus.

The ensemble cast also includes William Nadylam as a wizard named Yusuf Kama; Ingvar Sigurdsson as a bounty hunter named Grimmson; Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Skender, who runs the wizarding circus;
Do note that there's a good chance author and screenwriter J.K. Rowling may have changed names and ideas around said circus, but for now the poster gives some kind of idea of what fans should expect in parts of the sequel, out November 2018.

The as-yet named Fantastic Beasts sequel is being directed by David Yates now, and stars (along with newcomers Kim, Nadylam, Sigurdsson, and Ólafsson mentioned above), Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander), Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski), Ezra Miller (Credence Barebone), Zoe Kravitz (Leta Lestrange), Johnny Depp (Gellert Grindelwald), Callum Turner (Theseus Scamander), Kevin Guthrie (Abernathy), and Jude Law (Albus Dumbeldore).
