Fantastic Beasts series star Jude Law - who plays the younger Professor Albus Dumbledore in the saga - was spotted in Bath, UK, which is a few short minutes away from the
Lacock Abbey exterior Hogwarts set of the sequel, out next November.
Law, according to a local Bath movie theatre, had gone to watch the movie
Detroit on Wednesday, September 6, sporting the short beard below. No word yet on if the beard is for the Dumbledore role, or one he is growing out personally (and may well be wearing a prosthetic beard as Sir Michael Gambon and Richard Harris did for Dumbledore in the
Harry Potter movies).

The Lacock local parish confirmed that
Fantastic Beasts 2 was indeed filming for several weeks in southern UK, though has now completed its run there.
Quote:
John Boldon, deputy chair of Lacock Parish Council, said: "It's been a big set, but it's been kept under close wraps. All the main stars have been here, it's been very exciting."

If all is true, then there is a very strong chance that Law was portraying Dumbledore on the Lacock Abbey Hogwarts set for the sequel. Also spotted around the Lacock area the past few weeks were costars Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander), Callum Turner (Theseus Scamander), and Zoe Kravitz (Leta Lestrange).
Finally,
Fantastic Beasts actress Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein) recently posted photos of her in Paris this week. Whether this is for vacation, or for
Fantastic Beasts on-location production in France (which has already been confirmed) remains to be seen. If fans are out in the Paris area, do keep an eye out for filming productions in the coming weeks.

The following plot details were released by Warner Bros. about the second installment, which hits theaters and IMAX in November 2018.
Quote:
J.K. Rowling wrote the screenplay for the film, which opens in 1927, a few months after Newt helped to unveil and capture the infamous Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. However, as he promised he would, Grindelwald has made a dramatic escape and has been gathering more followers to his cause—elevating wizards above all non-magical beings.
The only one who might be able to stop him is the wizard he once called his dearest friend, Albus Dumbledore. But Dumbledore will need help from the wizard who had thwarted Grindelwald once before, his former student Newt Scamander. The adventure reunites Newt with Tina, Queenie and Jacob, but his mission will also test their loyalties as they face new perils in an increasingly dangerous and divided wizarding world.
