[img]http://www.snitchseeker.com/images/news/poa_harry_hermione_80.jpg' align='middle'> Fan sends report in about Azkaban - Summary:
A fan sent her report of what she thought of PoA Article:
Thanks to CBBC Quote: "The film was so cool!
It was completely different to what I imagined, it was brilliant - there was hardly a bad point in it.
The only criticism is in one scene Harry's scar was the wrong way round. Quote: The characters seem much more grown up and talented than the previous two.
It was so emotional.
And the dementors were scary.
The effect when everything freezes was so amazing! Quote: It was weird to see how much a director can change a film.
I like the way they're wearing their own clothes because it shows they can go out and stuff.
Hermione and Ron have a lot of chemistry shown between them. Quote: In this film it shows that it's not just about Harry as it has been.
The punch Hermione gave Malfoy was the best.
You so have to watch it if you haven't already, it's so good!" CBBC |

i liked the film too, but i was a bit disappointed with it
i expected way more than that
they left out things that i think were rather important, like the significance of Moony, wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs. That is why the shape of Harry's patronus is so important. they also got it in completly the wrong order, like not getting the firebolt until the very end of the film HE GOT IT AT CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! not near Summer
i was also dissappointed at the lack of Quidditch in the film, and especially missing out them winning the Quidditch Cup!!!!
I thought the Dementors were excellent and i loved the freezing effect as well
it was really scary and a good intro to when they were near. i dont no why but i never expected them to fly, but i can see why they do.
I liked the way they were in the own clothes more often but i missed the wizard robes, because they makes it all the more magical for me, and sets it apart from the Muggle world. also in the book muggle things dont work near Hogwarts, even paper, so i wonder if that applies for clothes too
I didn't think much about the werewolf though, he was HAIRLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!! whoever heard of a bald werewolf!!!!!!!!!!! it even says in the book "Hair was sprouting visibly on his face and hands in the film he had very little hair, and as far as i remember it was at most somthing resembling a combover.
all in all i think they compressed the book too much, and put in things they maybe weren't necessary and left out bits that were. i dread to think what will happen to the fourth and fifth books if the films carry on down this path

I didnt like the movie very much either. Nothing against alfonso cruson or anything it just should have had some more detail in it. I mean what if someone had never read the books or known that Remus was one of the people who made the map. It just should have had a lot more detail in it.

I personally liked the first two movies better than the third one... I guess I wished more things were included in the 3rd movie (like more Quiddich & Wood -- he's funny hehe )
But I still stand by my statement in another thread, I enjoyed the third movie. I just hope the 4th is better than the 3rd!

I saw the movie only once but I loved it. I'm dying to see it again. The best part was Hermione punching Malfoy. But it was strange seeing Harry get the Firebolt at the very end of the movie. I thought he'd get it in the middle and I was waiting for that part but it never came until the end.

i agree POA was definitely the best movie out of the three-so it wasn't cut and dry true to the plot of the book-so what? i missed some things too like Quidditch and the exlanation of moony, wormtail, padfoot and prongs--but it was made up for by how good the movie was otherwise!! it was amazing and i can't wait until tomorrow when i see it again!! :sorcerer:

When the movie was starting out, Harry was doing magic under the covers in his room, but it seems like after that it was said about 100 times that magic can't be done outside of school. Well then why was Harry doing it?

I think that kind of falls under that since there were no muggles around to actually witness Harry doing magic in his room it kinda skirts around the underage wizardy restrictions, at least in the director/writer's mind. Where as when he blew up Aunt Marge the Dursleys were right there (I don't know if you can count Dudley as being there as execpt for the few seconds that he was looking scarred out of his wits, he was either laying on the floor or staring at the TV) to witness it. Who knows?
I like PoA, seen it three times.
Thanks!
Storm.
