Post Eddie Redmayne comments on pressure of leading 'Fantastic Beasts' film series

Eddie Redmayne commented briefly on how he's feeling the pressure of taking on as lead Newt Scamander of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film series, and how much he loves J.K. Rowling and the Harry Potter book and film series.

Redmayne briefly chatted to E! Online and the LA Times during the Toronto International Film Festival, where he promoted his upcoming movie The Danish Girl at its North American premiere on Saturday night.

Quote:
LA Times: "That's a lot of pressure," Redmayne said of the "Potter" prequel. "I am such a fan of those movies. They're a big part of my life, crucial, really. You don't want to be the guy who screws the whole thing up."
Quote:
E! Online: "The stakes are high because they were so good before... You don't want to screw it up."

"It's a complete privilege for me," Redmayne said. "I love J.K. Rowling. I love the Harry Potter films [and] books so for me this is just the most wondrous gift really."
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them's first installment hits theaters in November 2016.

You'll be a great wizard, Eddie! You're in the right way.

Awwww! I don't blame him for feeling the pressure. Its the whole fandom that have got their attention on him and have high expectations. Buuuut I know he'll live up to it

he's Not wrong tho.
Yes at times they weren't the most 'faithful' of Adaptations.
But, maybe with the exception of HBP, they are good movies. they do capture some of the magic and unless one focuses exclusively on what they didn't include/changed/did wrong... they're enjoyable and got a lot of things perfect.

after all, Deathly Hallows part 2 made $1,341,511,219.
you don't do that well if you're that bad a movie.

and like JKR said
'“Whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.”

I'm so excited and I can't wait to see what's in store
(but fingers cross 'the pressure' doesn't prove overwhelming to Eddie Redmayne. :S as HP fans we want the movies to be perfect, but I hope he doesn't have a breakdown over it)
