| | |  David Yates 'tempted' to direct Deathly Hallows
In a video interview, recorded at last night's Empire awards in London, England, David Yates admitted that he's 'tempted' to direct Deathly Hallows, the final film in the series.
He added that it's something that's discussed on a daily basis but would not elaborate further. He confirmed that Half-Blood Prince will finish production in two months, saying the film has been 'a joy' to work on.
There's also a funny interview with Guillermo del Toro, David Heyman and Alfonso Cuaron wherein the former jokes that he'd like to direct Deathly Hallows because he wants to 'kill the children'. He also says he'd like to do a 'fetal prequel'.

Everyone is so against David because of the way they perceived OotP but, from a strictly directing standpoint, that movie was exceptional. It was so aesthetically brilliant that I was, at times, blown away. I would love for him to give in to the temptation and give us our final movie!! I think the screenwriting must be EXTREMELY careful though for the next film .. that was my major problem with OotP, actually.
