Daniel Radcliffe set to star in thriller "Horns", guest voice for "Robot Chicken"
 

Daniel Radcliffe has a couple of new projects lined up for him in the coming year. Variety confirmed that the former Harry Potter actor is set to star in the supernatural thriller and fantasy movie "Horns," based on the novel by Joe Hill and directed by Alexandre Aja, who did other horror features like "The Hills Have Eyes" and "Piranha 3D." It is set to begin shooting this fall.

Additionally, it was announced this week at the San Diego Comic-Con that Dan will be one of several celebrities to lend their voices to Adult Swim's program Robot Chicken for the upcoming season. This has not been formally confirmed yet, but we will update as soon as we receive more information on it.

This was then confirmed by actor Hiddleston, who currently stars in The Avengers.

Dan is currently in London shooting A Young Doctor's Notebook with Jon Hamm.

Being a horror fan I love the fact that he is doing horror film post Potter. I hope to see Emma do a good horror film soon too.

Woman in Black was great but I hope this isn't like Hills Have Eyes or Piranha 3D. Just....no. Not my favorite kind of movie. I think he would be great in a comedy. or maybe a romantic lead... but they keep killing off the wife or girlfriend....

I refuse to watch any film directed by the person who made The Hills Have Eyes, that has to be the most mentally disturbing film I have ever watched. But I do love Daniel. ;)

lol don't worry! this book has nothing to do with those, I really recommend reading it. It's more about fantasy mixed with mistery. It's actually quite a complex role, I can see why Dan would choose it. And if they do it right the movie could have a really cool look.
I agree Dan would be great in a comedy, he is a great comedian, I'm sure he will soon or later, but I can see why darker roles attract him, they are usually more difficult and interesting to play. But we shouldn't copmplain about characters loosing some family members because, first of all, Harry lost his parents...
One role he would be perfert for it's Doctor Who, I keep thinking about it... maybe he could play the 10th Doctor, that would be beyond awesome!

He didn't write it, he directed it and is very good directing horror films actually. Maybe his first films weren't Acadamy Awards movies, but that's the way many unknown directors have to start working on, not everyone can start from the top because they know "someone" or are friends "of someone"... I admire this director because he started from the botton and has done a lot with very poor scripts. The fact that now he is doing bigger movies says it all, he has won the right to do so.
This book has a lot of potential, the author is Stephen King's son and he is as good as his father, so I can not wait to see what such a talented director will do now that he has a good story to work with. :)

It's an animated tv series, starring Seth Green (Buffy), it's being airing since 2005. They made movies of it too. Seth and Daniel are both short guys so they are fond of each other hehe
