:/ I'm giving the benefit of the doubt because- journalism and potential to cut-paste fragment words. but if true, he seems to be giving contradictory statements every time this subject is brought up. At comic con he said " It depends what happens between now and then - you know, if I feel right doing that. At the moment it's just a hypothetical - at the moment, I can really say that, and sort of avoid the question. If those books ever come to fruition - look, I would never say never, because it's a very stupid thing to say. It would be a cause for a lot of thought." but here he sounds, slightly? dismissive, (something he also said he was never going to do, by saying " I just feel uncomfortable putting the robes on and pretending to be this character I played when I was a child.'" it's very confusing and maddening which one he means genuinely- if he's open to do it again Someday or if he wants to completely move on. |
Aw. Well, he can move on. |
I'd say most interviewers aren't aware that Fantastic Beasts takes place in the 1920's. Since Harry isn't born until 1980, it would be rather impossible for him to be in it. Granted, they could begin the movie in the present time with Harry making an appearance and then go back to the 1920's, but the only character I think this would make sense with is Luna Lovegood. She is, after all, the one who married Newt Scamander's grandson. (Or great grandson. I forgot which one.) |
