Daniel Radcliffe in new Radar, ShortList magazines interviews, attending Sundance Daniel Radcliffe participated in several interviews to promote Thursday's premiere broadcast of A Young Doctor's Notebook at 9pm GMT on Sky Arts, where he chatted with ShortList and Radar magazines about working alongside Jon Hamm, Kill Your Darlings, and moving on from Harry Potter. Dan's photo shoot for Radar magazine can be seen here. http://www.snitchseeker.com/gallery/...wae0-fzBPY.jpg http://www.snitchseeker.com/gallery/...w-83KKp9yY.jpg http://www.snitchseeker.com/gallery/...4ir7NLrpKE.jpg Dan on comparing the great impact author Mikhail Bulgakov's had on Russian language to that of the success of Harry Potter, to Radar: Quote:
“It’s hard to explain this show,” says Radcliffe. “You start saying it’s about a Russian doctor in 1917 operating on people for the first time and then he eventually gets addicted to morphine. But I promise it’s a comedy. What’s unique about it is this combination of gruesome blood and a heart-breaking journey into addiction.” Kill Your Darlings will have its world premiere this January at the Sundance Film Festival, it was announced earlier this month. While the actor has not flat-out admitted it, Dan pretty much confirmed to ET Canada at the Whistler Film Festival that he will be at Sundance in January to promote the feature's release. Additionally, The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman, starring Dan's former Harry Potter costar Rupert Grint, will also have its world premiere at Sundance. No word yet on if Rupert will be in attendance, though we will update as soon as we hear more on the premieres. |
