Summary:
Clinton's book outselling OOTP in pre-sales....

Article:

It is not often that a former US president is compared to Harry Potter, but Bill Clinton the political magician and escape artist is challenging the young wizard at the bookstore.

Advance orders of Mr Clinton's autobiography, My Life, are breaking sales records on Amazon.com and outstripping the sales of the latest instalment of the Harry Potter series, The Order of the Phoenix.

The former president is well on his way to selling the first print run of 1.5m copies of his memoirs, and the book doesn't officially go on sale until 22 June.

I definitely agree with cooly_s! I mean, HP is way better than that. My mom got a copy and I read the first few pages. I almost fell asleep and that's a miracle coz my sister was driving!

Yeah, but it's most probably selled better because of the popularity of Clinton, not on how good the book is! That's so unfair! People keep writing good books, and nobody buys them, and then comes Clinton, who can't write a good book, and it's suddenly better sold than HP! Not fair!

I can't believe that that pile of rubbish is better than HP. That's unnerving.

I guess people just want to know what Clinton's got to say. Maybe they hope it's a novel about his relationship with Monica Lewinsky.

Classic!! I for some reason found that extremely funny!

Yes, It is quite concerning that many people wish to read a bunch of poo about him and the did he did he not have sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky (of course he bloody did)!! than to read proper well written literature like the Harry Potter series - What is this world coming too??? (BTW, If anyone does read it, let me know if it's any good??)

That's pathetic. People just want to buy Clinton's book so they can laugh so hard they pee when he says he didn't have "sexual relations" with Monica Lewinsky. Lol. Gosh that is so dumb. Harry Potter is way better and can totally beat him anyday. Or at least JK can beat him anyday.

Its all because him and Hillary and all his affiliates pre-order tons and tons of copies to make it look like its a best selling book and that people really care about and wanna read about all the stuff he DIDN'T do as President. People do this all the time.
