Cast list revealed for Harry Potter Leavesden tour grand opening
 

Warner Bros. Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter has released the names of the actors and crew who will be attending the grand opening celebration set to take place on Saturday, March 31, 2012.

They are:

Omg can't wait to go on the tour. shame that i couldn't go on the opening day tho would of loved to see all the cast :)

I find it interesting that it's always the more low-profile people who tend to go to these things and show their love for Harry Potter. Dan and Emma are probably the two biggest young stars of the series, yet they hardly ever go to HP-related events, aside from the movie premieres. And when it comes to the adult actors, it's always the bit players who were barely in the movies at all like Nick Moran, Warwick Davis, Natalia Tena, and Helen McCrory, rather than the big prominent actors like Michael Gambon, Maggie Smith, or Alan Rickman.

I wouldn't consider Tom to be low-profile. From my sources, the WB considers Tom to be kind of the go to person when it comes to promoting the series. He's always willing to promote the series when asked and never seems to be a burden to him at all. In February, some of my friends told him about being there to cover the studio open for various sites and he was thoroughly excited that he was going to he there as well; he does the English guide commentary after all.

I'm sure that all the actors in the series do love the series, considering that it has been a part of their lives for so long. Dan and Emma are currently filming in the States and Matt is filming in Leeds. Filming conflicts that couldn't be really avoided. Like any appearance, filming commitments take presidency and that is understandable.

Dan was at the park open as well and Emma was in Orlando along with Matt and the twins in May before the park open (which was supposed to be the previous early projected for Phase One of WWoHP at Universal). They have made the effect to attend events and that shouldn't be over looked in anyway.

Again it's rather hard for any of the actors to know fully if they will be able to attend all the events that as asked of them. We have to remember that sometimes other commitments come in the way. Be it movies or theatre engagements.

Oh man....I'm so jealous~ :( I wanna go!! T_T

1. )Rupert is with Emma and Daniel the biggest Star in the Series, the golden Trio. So 1 of the big Stars of HP is sure there next Week, don't worry.

2.)But agree with Vixen, Tom is not really low Profile, neither is Rupert. I don't know why you think that. Emma did Promotion at the Park in Orlando in May 2010, Daniel was at the Red Carpet Event in June 2010. Daniel had the Musical going on November 2011. I just don't know why Emma didn't attend, but I think her Studies were more important for her.

3.) Evanna, Bonnie, Helen etc might be supporting Cast, but they are a Part of Harry Potter who also filmed at Leavesden

The sad truth is HP is over-yes I have now finally accepted it, not happily though Lol...with that said, Emma,Dan, and Matt cant attend because of filming-bet their new producers are like uh no time off sorry!! I am sure if they werent filming they would attend, especially since it is their home country.
As Emma not attending back in November for WWoHP, neither did Bonnie-both girls had classes at the time, in fact my guess is even exams-cant miss those!!! Also, Emma was busy promoting MWWM in the UK around the same time. The bottom line is WB no longer has these young actors under their "control" anymore and cant expect them to put their lives on hold to do HP events. I do hope that.someday soon we will be able to see the entire cast together for an event soon that has the trio, the Weasley members, the Hogwarts staff and students.

Awww, GUTTED I didn't get tickets for the opening. I'm going two weeks later, though!!! SOOOOOO EXCITED. :whaa:

I would love to so be there to see Bonnie and Rupert! David & Natalia! I am so looking forward to seeing them on the televised studio opening! Go Bonnie!

wish i could just go sit outside to see them attend but

1) I'm up in Scotland

2) I don't have tickets

3) If i did go i'd get moved
