| | |  Book seven release date announcement nears?
While there is no official release date for HP book seven, one may be announced soon. Amazon.com has the book up for preorder on their German site for 25 euros, stating “Bloomsbury 2007” under the publisher category. If the release date is indeed on July 7, 2007, as many have speculated in the past, then the announcement would most likely be made next month or January 2007, as that would follow the timeline for other HP books.
In addition, HPANA is reporting that Barnes & Noble bookstores have been shipped preorder signage for book seven. One of the bookstore’s employees said the following: Quote:
Just to let you know, I had the joy of opening the holiday sign packages at the Barnes and Noble I work at today to discover signs for the seventh book. They're vague and I don't know an exact date, but it means that the company big wigs probably know a date on which to expect more information. So, if nothing else, it's a sign that good news should be headed our way soon.

Hmmm... that'd be nice to have it come out sometime next year. Somehow I doubt she'd release it on 07^3 just BECAUSE everyone has been speculating that date. JKR is the type to do surprising things, you know?
I'm not sure I want the series to end... It's been so awesome, and I'm all nervous that I won't like the ending at all and then I'll be really annoyed, lol.

Retail stores also get their Christmas stuff at Valentine's Day. I don't know. I think it's just something that's done well in advance. Rowling herself said that she doesn't even know the title to the book yet and that people should expect a long wait. I'm more apt to take her word over any others that I may hear so I'm not going to hold my breath for it until something official is announced.
