Turned down in an attempt to ban the HP books from the school her children attend, Laura Mallory has appealed to Georgia Board of Education. Earlier this year SS carried a story concerning the attempted book banning of the Harry Potter books in a school system in Gwinnett County, Georgia, USA. The Gwinnett School Board ruled that the woman's request was without merit and the HP books stayed in the school's library. The state board is set to make its ruling this Thursday in Atlanta. OK so...this is what i have to say:
1.I highly doubt that that lady has even read one page of the HP books
2. Why is she listening to others bad coments on HP and just read it herself before judging the book.
3 If you dont like the books then dont read them!
4. Personally i didnt even used to Read before HP
5. who doesnt like HP?!?! *thinking*...nope i dont know who doesnt
6.Come on why make this trivial matter sooo huge?!!?...its not that big of a deal, really!

This article upsets me. Obviously, this woman is very religious, and so am I. I am a Catholic, and usually things like this would be against my religion. But did this woman ever recognize the fact that the books are on the fantasy shelf? For a REASON! Everyone knows that they arent real, and that's why people like them so much. They're just for fun. This woman takes stuff too literally.
this lady doesnt kno wat shes talkin about is shes never read the books then obviously she needs to n sheel c it doesnt promote witchcraft but it expands our minds and maks ppl think in ways they never have..i bet if she read them then she would like them
I think the whole thing is just stupid. I have a friend who was banned from me and my other friends for 6 months cause she watched harry potter with us and her mom freaked out.

I think the book should be read first before making assumptions! I'm a Christian and do I think HP is wrong? Definitely not!
