What's your favourite HP book? Whats your fave JK book... the original, the new or maybe even the textbooks... which one is yours? |
Yay, I`m the first one. I think the worst by far were the textbooks...they were boring and (obviously) plotless. |
Prisoner of Azkaban, it is really intellegent and well thought out. It is deceptive and has secrets to the last page. It also has the legend Lupin in it! |
PoA is fantastic. It was my favourite book for AGES (till I read LOTR and HDM). I loved the schoolbooks, too, but OotP was just a series of excellent scenes weakly linked. |
For me CoS was the best of the books, and I think that part of the reason is because it is scary. It was the best written horror book I have ever read. It had some of the best lines of the series and had a wonderful plot. |

:hello: hi everyone i think the worst ones were the textboks, i got em, and thay are not that inetersting, yet, they are supposed to be school books!! hers my lists of faves: 1 - POA 2 - GOF 3 - OOTP 4 - COS 5 - PS 6 - QUIDDITCH THROUGH THE AGES 7 - FANTASTICS BEASTS |
My fave's Goblet of Fire. i love it coz it's so rich-with the Yule Ball and the tournament, voldemort's return, i think it's brilliant! and the textbooks were great too, harry n ron's comments in fantastic beasts was fun. |
I agree that the textbooks were plotless... cause they're textbooks! They arent meant to tell a story. I thought they were great, filled with fun facts and a fair bit of backstory... plus they were for charity! Its great that JK gave up her time to help! GO JK!! |
^ I agree. You have to admit, the textbooks are really useful in learning some stuff about the wizard world. It would have made the books even longer and more detailed had she put in all of that info. I think JKR is a great person. She donates tons of money, is very friendly to her fans, and she wrote 2 books solely for the purpose of being donated to the Comic relief fund, lets hear it for JKR! Now back to my vote... I voted PoA like many people, basically for the same reasons :) |
My favorite book would have to be the fifth one, he starts acting like a teenager! Finally! I mean thank god he got some anger out! |
Book Three Azkaban, then Five Order |
I like PoA b/c it is not the sam I gotta save to whole world form voldermort in this one he gets his godfather but what is said is that he looses him in OotP  |
I like POA! The idea of Dementor and Patronus, make me realized JK is a brilliant author. |
PoA, OotP, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Quidditch Through the Ages. |
POA<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:purple'>is the best JK Rowling book out of the series so far.</span></span> |
i like books 3, 4 and 5 |
Hi. I definatly think that the Goblet of Fire was the best book because I liked trying (keyword: trying) to put together the puzzles and riddles. :whisle: |
i liked the 5th book it was just plain cool. with Vold. and Dumble. fighting it wa just the best. |
Order of the Phoenix and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them. I love all the books but these are my favourites. :bouncepea: |
