dumbledore in my opinion. but then next to him i would say harry.

I think Dumbledor is (was) the most powerful wizard. But Voldamort takes a close second. Where as Voldamort is afraid of death, Dumbledor sacrificed himself for Harry so that Harry could defeat Voldamort. So Dumbledor has my vote.

definately dumbledor, he knows about so many things, and he doesn't underestimate, or overestimate tihngs, very importent when it comes to power. harry's not far behind him tho coz dumbledor has imparted a lot of his wisdom to before he died

It's got to be Dumbledore, who are we to dispute the opinion of the entire magical world.

Only reason why I say Harry is the strongest of the wizards is because he is still very young and doesn't even know all the powers that he posses and how to use them. If he knew exactly what all his powers were and what they consist of and such, I believe he'd be more powerful than Dumbledore and Voldemort combined together.

I believe Snape is, sure he's not magically powerful as dumbledore but as a whole Snape is definately!...like just how he would use his spy techniques(especially if he can deceive the supposedly most powerful wizard of all time) and imagine all his intellect combined with potions...powerful! hehe

Dumbledore. Even though Rowling doesn't go into much detail about his powers, I believe that his knowledge, spell ability, and will power combine make him the most powerful wizard.

:harry: HARRY of course, Dumbledore may or may not have been more powerfull than Voldemort but he is not the one with the Power to vanquish the Dark Lord.

I'd say Harry isn't the most powerful wizard, it's just what he has that is powerful, and that is the love of his mother guarding him.

Voldemort isn't the most powerful wizard, because love easily conquers over him; he cannot see past love. It confounds him, it befuddles him, and he is afraid of it.

I would have to say Dumbledore is the most powerful wizard. He knows what he is doing, and he puts fate into his own hands. He knows how to love, to trust, to see through things. He always knows everything Harry is doing, even before Harry knows.

Voldemort is the most powerful wizard, closely folllowed by an ailing, aging, weakening Dumbledore. After all the transformations and ritual he has undergone, at least a few must have made him more powerful or further him on his quest to immortality?
Harry will hopefully come into his own by the 7th.

Dumbledore. He is the most accomplish wizard in the books and the ONLY ONE Voldemort feared.

Snape is second (or first now that Dumbledore is dead). He is very accomplsihed wizard but he keeps a very low profile. I think he is the only one that knows his true powers.

Voldemort is thrid. He is by FAR the most accomplished DARK wizard of ALL time but... all that horcrux making had made him lose some common sense. He isn't as smart as he would like everyone to think he is... the mistakes he has made will be his downfall.
