I think Lucius has killed before, yes. Remember, he was a Death Eater from the very beginning, when Voldemort first took reign. And Death Eaters killed a lot of people back then. I also think Lucius was a staunch supporter of Voldemort, at first. Until he realized, after Voldy was defeated (the first time) by Harry, that the man was just on his way to the loony bin. So I think he sought to keep Draco away from everything he was exposed to, in order to make sure his son didn't repeat his mistakes.

I think that Lucious has killed someone. Just look at how he was willing to kill and torture Harry and his friends on a few different occasions. If he has no problem doing that to kids then I'm sure he'd have no issue killing an adult that opposed him and the other death eaters.

I don't think he has killed "a lot" of people like some other Death Eaters, but it feels quite likely that he's killed a few people.

My guess is yes he has killed a few people. Probably only when he first became a deatheater.
And if he recently killed anyone it was probably because he killed in fear of Voldy.

I don't think Lucius would kill if he had the choice, like others have said he is too cowardly. Though I do think that if Voldemort told him he must, in other words, he had no choice, then I think he would.

When Voldemort returned in Goblet of Fire, didn't he ask Lucius if he was ready to take up the lead spot in muggle torture once again? I think that makes it clear that he has murdered in the past, if his previous job was torturing muggles for sport.

I believe that Lucius has killed at some stage, in the early years definatley, though I can't imagine he made a habit of it. I think if he ever did kill, it was to secure his ranks alongside Voldemort, or in fear of Voldemort. His character doesn't strike me as being intentionally malicious.

I don't call it cowardly to not be able to kill. It is a sign of goodness and that you are not all bad if you do not want to kill.

I'm torn on this one. On the one hand you have his ambition and ruthlessness, but on the other he wasn't particularly brave and had a strong self preservation streak. My guess would be that if he had, it would not have been in a fair fight situation. It would have been an outnumbered situation or a strike when a back was turned/defenceless type deal. I can't see him challenging someone to a duel or fighting one on one when he felt he didn't have the upper hand.

I think Lucius is a coward! He would sooner show himself as a proud individual, with doing the minimal amount of work possible. The number of times he fled to make sure he got away unscathed is a very big number. .... Doesn't mean i don't have a soft spot for him though lol

If we are dealing with the Lucius form the end of the series, no. is weak, and not able to use any of the unforgivables. But the Lucius we first meet is more than capable of killing someone. Doby for one, but I'm sure he's relish killing Hagrid or Dumbledore.

I'm honestly torn on this one. On one hand, I think he is capable of such but never has, preferring to keep his hands clean. For him, personally killing is like a service, such as a cashier or a barista and he doesn't want to do the job, just reap the results. Not to mention that he is a cold and calculating man, and he knows the consequences for what he does. Actual murder can get you in Azkaban. Being the mind behind a murder might not.

On the other hand, Lucius appears to have been a Death Eater for a while and I think that killing might be an act of loyalty for Voldemort. Murder is good blackmail, and a good way to keep people in line. I believe Voldemort uses this to his advantage, threatening to kill people the family of his members if they didn't keep in line.

Lucius kill? Personally, I don't think he has it in him to be a killer. Just like Draco, he doesn't have the heart for it let alone the actually ability. Lucius is one of these characters who talks himself up a lot, and he almost comes across as someone who believes he is fully capable of taking out Lord Voldemort at any given moment but in actual fact, he is very much just another follower. I would almost go as far as to say it's a cover for him. There's no doubt he enjoys being the bad guy, that much is obvious. But to be a killer? I think that's a step too far even for a Malfoy. He values too much, and he's almost too pristine for such a heinous deed. However, with Lord Voldemort on his back, I think he'd be stupid to say no. So there are so many different ways to answer this, I think it depends who you ask. But me personally? I don't think he could kill, he doesn't have it in him.

I think that he did kill because he was once Voldemorts closest supporters and the only way he would get there i would think is to be willing to kill.

Honestly, I don't think Lucius killed anyone because if he did he wouldn't have the high status he has with the Ministry. However, he is part of Voldemort's inner circle and I think he would've had to kill someone to get there. Remember, in 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets', Lucius was halfway through saying the Killing Curse and would've killed Harry if Dobby didn't throw him back. (BUT, Harry wouldn't have died anyway because the Horcrux inside him needed to be destroyed first in order to kill him.)

I do think that yes Lucius has his fair share of killing but I dont think that he is the kind to kill for fun --- unlike Bellatrix. Since he is part of the Death Eater at some point in his life he was pressured to kill some and to show his loyalty he would. In the books (the way i see it) Lucius tends to be evil only when it is reputation is on the line but he is never truly evil himself. Just ran with the wrong crowd.
