Now this you need a little info so you don't think I am really morbid or anything. I dated a guy for almost 3 years, and we were best friends before we dated. He battled cancer for over 4 years, and it took his life in 2001. I wrote this after he died...

The tears I cry
Are not for show
The Pain I feel
You will never know
Trying to hold up
Trying to be strong
Knowing I wont
Last for very long
My heart aches
An a pain I've never known
Why did you have to
Leave me all alone
Your face I'll remember
Your touch and your kiss
The sound of your voice
I so terribly miss
I'd give my life
For one second with you
Without you here
I wish i were dead too..
In my memories
In my heart you'll stay
I wish it didnt
have to end this way...

I'm so sorry about your loss. I know it was awhile ago, and you probably hate it when people bring it up, but my deepest sympathy. It's a great poem, I'll be looking foward to more.

What do you see in me,
When you look into my eyes,
Can you see my innter strength,
Or anything inside?
Do you really know me,
Do you even care,
Can you learn anything,
From just a simple stare?
Do you just see a face,
Or what it has behind,
Are you judging my looks,
Or what is on my mind?
Look into my eyes,
Tell me what you see,
Just some shades or blue,
Or the "real" me?
