Okay, well I had a fanfic, but no one responded to it :-( everyone didn't like it i think, and i admit it- it stunk. However this is another attempt at a fanfic so please tell me what I can do to make my stories better, and if you have any comments at all, please respond! (This is kinda sappy so....ya...)

Chapter 1: Part one
"Ron!?" Hermione yelled at Ron, after Harry had left the room,

"Why are you so rude?!"

"I'm not being rude!"

"Yes, you are!"

"Why do we have to go through this every single darn day?!" Ron replied exasperatedly.

"Because you're so tactless and rude to Harry at such a hard time in this life!"

"All I said was that Dumbledore had told us about the propecy..."

"That's exactly what I'm talking about! Do you really think Harry is ready to discuss it with us?! He only found out two months ago!"

"Okay, Okay! Fine! I know that I'm stupid already!" Ron said, his temper rising.

"You're not stupid!"

"Yea right like you haven't told me atleast a million times how stupid I am!"

"I've never told you you were stupid!"

"You meant it!"

"I did not!"

"Oh, yes you did!"

"Ok, can we just stop this please. These stupid arguments are driving me crazy." Hermione said breathing deeply.

"Yea," said Ron, "What is our problem? How is it that everything we say ends in a fight?"

Hermione sat down on his bed.

"I dunno. I'm not sure. But I, I, well," Hermione took an even deeper breath before looking into Ron's eyes.

"I love you, Ron."

Ron looked up.

"You do? Really?"

Hermione smiled.

"For a long time."

"I've felt the same way but I always thought you just thought that I was a stupid git..." He replied, sitting down next to her.

"Ronald, I..." But she never finished that sentence. For at that moment their lips met and all other thought and feeling was erased from their minds. All they felt was a longing for each other that increased rapidly because it had been ignored for so long. Ron's strong arms were wrapped warmly around Hermione's thin waist and hers were locked around his neck in a tight embrace. He felt her warm, soft skin brush against his and she felt safe, for the first time in months, in his solid arms.

They simply sat there, their lips together, for several minutes, until Hermione finally broke the connection.

"Look, Ron, we can't do this. Not now, when Harry needs us most."

"But this isn't about what Harry needs. This is about what we need. And I need you, Hermione."

"I need you too, Ron."

"But then why can't we be together?"

Hermione sighed.

"Because right now, what Harry needs most are his friends. And if we start dating, then he won't have hardly anyone to depend on."

"Well, if we can't be together publicly, then can we at least be secret boyfriend-girlfriend?"

"Oh, Ron, I dunno..."

"Please, Hermione?"

She thought for a moment before reaching a decision.

"Oh, well,.....alright. But no one can find out, okay?"

"Okay."

"Well, we must have been in here for a really long time. I need to go back to my room to finish packing my trunk for school. See you at dinner."

"Yea, see you."

Hermione paused and looked at him thoughtfully for a moment before turning and walking out the door.

Sorry it's so short. I don't know what my problem is but I can't seem to write parts of stories very long. I have to keep dividing it up. Oh well. Thats all for now folks! Hope you like it!
