Chapter Six - Another Visitor
“That, was delicious.” Izabella said, putting her knife and fork down on her empty plate and leaning back in the large wooden chair. Molly Weasley smiled and blushed appreciatively from her seat half way down the table. Everyone surrounding the table were relaxing in their chairs, full to the brim of Mrs Weasley's large meal and looking sleepy.

Sirius sat next to Izabella, slumped in his chair with one arm resting on the back of her chair, as he rubbed his full stomach with his other hand and yawned sleepily.
“One of your best Molly,” he said smiling at her gratefully. Harry watched him from across the table. Sirius already looked 10 years younger and Izabella had only been back a few hours.

Izabella yawned and glanced at her watch as she placed a hand over her mouth delicately.
“Oh gosh! I need to get back.” she said sitting up straight and blinking as she stretched.
“Already?” Harry asked frowning at her from across the table.
“You can't leave yet,” Sirius protested childishly sitting up and turning to face her. She smiled sadly and shook her head.
“I need to get home.”
“I can easily make a bed up for you dear,” Mrs Weasley said as she waved her wand and cleared away the plates with help from Bill and Mr Weasley.
“I haven't got any stuff...” Izabella said shrugging.

Lupin smiled and tilted his head to the opposite side of the room.
“Dumbledore sorted that out for you.” he said as Izabella turned to where he was looking and let out a small laugh as she saw her suitcase stood in the corner of the room. A puzzled look crossed her face as she wondered when or how he managed it but then she laughed to herself. It was Dumbledore after all.

“So you're staying?” Harry said sharing a grin with Sirius across the table. She rolled her eyes and laughed.
“I suppose I am then.” Izabella smiled at Harry then turned in her chair to face Sirius. They looked at each other for a moment, smiling then turned their heads away from each other blushing lightly.

“Molly I can make up a bed myself, just show me where the linen is.” Izabella smiled, pushing her chair back and standing up.
“Oh don't be silly dear. I'll be seeing the children to bed now anyway.” she replied as she returned from the kitchen, levitating a pile of sheets and covers in front of her with her wand.
“Bed already!?” Ron protested
“Yes, Ronald. Come on. All of you.” she said, passing a glare to Fred and George who grumbled but pushed their chairs back and disapparated suddenly.

Harry looked at Sirius who nodded.
“Goodnight Harry.” he said touching his godson's shoulder as he passed him.
“See you in the morning Harry.” Izabella smiled and touched his cheek affectionately.
“Goodnight.” Harry smiled at Lupin then at his godparents then turned and followed Hermione up the stairs.

Sirius and Izabella followed them into the hallway, laughing as Ron dragged his feet slowly up the staircase.
“Ronald! If you aren't in your bedroom in one minute I swear...” Mrs Weasley's shrill voice faded off as she reached the girl's bedroom.

Izabella smiled, a warm feeling rising inside of her. She felt as though she could explode with happiness and felt stupid about her worries and fears from earlier in the day.
Izabella turned to Sirius and took a step towards him. He smiled cheekily and winked then turned to the front door as it suddenly opened and footsteps could be heard making their way down the hallway.
The heavy feet echoed in the dank entrance. As they turned to face the new visitor, Izabella gasped quietly.

His long black robes flowed out behind him and his matching hair was damp from the light summer rain outside. His dark eyes found Izabella's and they stared at each other for a moment.
“Severus.” she said quietly. He watched her and his face seemed to soften, his body relaxing as his head tilted to one side.
“Snape?” said a quiet questioning voice from above them. The three adults looked up to find Harry, Ron and Hermione leaning over the bannister as they watched the exchange happening below.
“Isn't it past your bedtime Potter?” Snape sneered up at him.
“Go to your room Harry.” Siruis snapped. His eyes had glazed over once more and his smile had vanished. He turned and left the hallway, slamming the kitchen door behind him, leaving Izabella and Snape alone in the hallway, and Harry and the others to be shunted into their rooms by Mrs Weasley.

Sorry, just a short chapter!
Chapter Seven - Lost Lover Found
Izabella stretched and blinked open her eyes as the soft sunshine leaked into the dusty bedroom from the gaps around the musty curtains. She rolled over in the large squishy bed and screamed at the sight that greeted her, sitting up suddenly and almost toppling off the edge of the bed as she did.

Standing by the edge of her bed was a hunched house elf with an abnormably large nose and squinty watery eyes.

“Sorry Miss... Kreacher was told to tell you breakfast was ready Miss.” said the creature in a wheezy voice.
Izabella nodded and smiled slighty.
“Yes.. Thank you... Kreacher.” she said, her heartbeat slowing.
The house elf toddled out of her room mumbling to himself and she leant against the headboard sighing slightly as she thought about the events of the day before.

There was a soft knock on the door making Izabella look towards the door and run a hand through her messy hair.
“Come in,” she called. The door opened warily and Sirius appeared. He was dressed in casual clothes and his face looked cleaner and his hair less messy.

“Morning.” she smiled, sitting up in bed and tucking her legs underneath her, leaving him space to sit at the end of her bed.
“Morning. I heard you scream then saw Kreacher leaving your room and thought he might have been bothering you.” he said grinning at her. She laughed and shook her head.
“No, he was just telling me breakfast was ready. What time is it? I haven't overslept have I?” she asked, glancing around for a clock but realizing the room was bare.

Sirius smiled then reached out and put a lock of her black hair behind her ear gently, leaving his hand by her face to stroke her cheek affectionately. She leaned into his hand and smiled.
“You can sleep for as long as you like.” he said softly.

Izabella paused then slowly moved her face towards his. His hand moved to her chin and he lifted her face up, before slowly moving towards her and pressing his lips against hers. She closed her eyes as her breathing became slightly ragged and she touched her lips against his again. Sirius' arm moved to wrap around her waist and pull her closer, his hand placed lightly on the small of her back, kissing her more intensely. Izabella wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling his body closer to hers, and melting into his strong arms.

“Izabella are you coming down-” Harry stopped mid sentence, his hand still on the handle of the door he had just pushed open. He paused awkwardly as Sirius and Izabella let go of each other, Sirius standing up and Izabella blushing ferociously.

“Morning Harry!” Sirius said cheerily grinning at his godson. Harry laughed and Sirius walked over to him, wrapping an arm around him and ruffling his hair fondly. “Let's leave your godmother to get dressed and sort that red face out.” he said winking cheekily at Izabella.

“Oh shut up and get out.” she said rolling her eyes and glaring at them until they left the room, Harry apologising repeatedly and Sirius chuckling loudly.

She laughed then fell back onto her pillows with a small sigh. She lay still for a moment smiling to herself and tracing her lips lightly with her fingertips, then she sat up and swung her legs out of bed standing up and walking over to the suitcase which she never bothered to unpack the night before.

She caught sight of herself in the ornate mirror that hung on the wall by the door and groaned slightly at her reflection. Her black hair was sticking out in all directions and she had mascara smudged under her eyes. She sighed then started to pull out her clothes and toiletries.

Okay so this is quite a long chapter! Hope you enjoy it

Chapter Eight - Revelations
Harry was sat at the kitchen table with Ron and Hermione eating his breakfast. Sirius sat at the other end, slouched in his chair and talking to Tonks and Lupin.

Hermione sighed pointedly as Ron shovelled eggs and bacon into his overflowing mouth.
“What?!” he demanded, spraying food over the table. Hermione rolled her eyes.

“He looks happy,” Hermione said quietly as she looked at Sirius. Harry nodded and smiled. “Be careful Harry.” she continued frowning slightly. Harry looked up at her questioningly.
“I know you're excited about finding someone else who knew your parents but we don't know everything about Izabella yet.” she explained quickly in a low voice.
“Hermione, she's my godmother.”
“Yes I know Harry... but she also worked for You-Know-Who. Not to mention the Snape thing...” she said looking about her to check no one was listening to them.
“We don't know what that was about Hermione. Just because she knows Snape doesn't mean anything...” Harry sighed. He knew she had a point, but if Sirius trusted Izabella why shouldn’t he?

At that moment Izabella came into the kitchen, her cream blouse tucked into her dark jeans. Her black hair was off her face, all tied up in a messy bun high on her head. She smiled and walked over to Sirius, her hands resting on his shoulders she leant down and kissed his cheek softly. He squeezed her hand with his and grinned. Harry watched happily and saw Lupin smiling broadly. Izabella sat down next to Tonks and pulled a plate of toast towards her.

“So, what we doing today?” she asked beaming. Just then Mrs Weasley entered levitating a pile of washing in front of her.
“If you don't mind we really need to finish cleaning this house up.” she said as she dumped the pile of clothes in a corner of the kitchen. Izabella jumped to her feet and grabbed a piece of toast.

“Let's get going,” she said as she left the kitchen ruffling Sirius' hair as she passed making him chuckle. Harry smiled then followed Sirius, Ron and Hermione out of the kitchen and upstairs to the second floor.

The day was packed as they moved throughout the house attacking the various creatures and items that inhabited Grimauld Place. Harry spent most of his day watching his godparents as they laughed and smiled together.

At one point Sirius left the group to go and feed Buckbeak and when he returned he snook up on Izabella waving the dead rats in her face teasingly and making her squeal. Sirius and the others laughed at her reaction while Izabella pushed him and blushed. He grinned and pulled her towards him, wrapping his arms around her waist and hugging her. She smiled and kissed his lips gently then pulled out of his arms and carried on spraying the mouldy curtains.

“So what was my parent's wedding like?” Harry asked as he cleared out the cupboards in the drawing room. Sirius laughed.
“I think you're 100 questions are up for today Harry.” he chuckled. Izabella shoved him gently then turned and smiled at Harry.

“It was quiet and small but filled with love. Your mother looked beautiful.” she said quietly, her eyes filling up slightly as she remembered. Sirius rubbed her arm and kissed her cheek. Harry smiled then took out a locket from the shelves. Izabella frowned, staring at the locket with a concerned look for a few seconds then she shook her head and turned away to help Mrs Weasley.

Harry dropped the locket into the rubbish bag then turned his head towards the door as the bell rang loudly, causing Mrs Black to start her howling. Sirius groaned and ran out to the hallway yelling at the portrait as he did. Mrs Weasley went downstairs to answer the door.

“Shut the door Fred.” Izabella said in a stern voice as the twins hovered by the open door listening to the voices downstairs. They sighed and slammed the door, returning to their work on the creature that was inside the desk drawers.

A few minutes later Mrs Weasley popped her head round the door.
“Lunch time everyone.” she said with a smile, leaving the door open for everyone to follow her. Izabella followed the others shutting the door behind her.

She made her way into the kitchen, stopping when she saw Snape sat in the chair at one end of the long table and Sirius opposite him, glaring at the floor with his arms folded tightly against his chest. She watched Harry sit next to Sirius protectively, glaring at Snape. She sighed and stood in the doorway, tapping her foot in annoyance as everyone sat at the table, warily watching Snape and Sirius and picking at the food.

“Izabella.” Snape said with a curt nod.
“Severus.” she replied, pointedly sitting directly in the middle of the two men.
“Dumbledore will be round later.” Snape announced causing Harry to look up sharply from his plate.
“Dumbledore?” he questioned curiously.
“Yes Potter,” sneered Snape. “Though it's none of your business. He wishes to see Izabella.”
“Don't you speak to my godson like that.” Sirius said in a dark voice.
“Sirius.” Izabella warned in a quiet voice.

“Izabella is keeping her dog on the leash then.” Snape smirked at Sirius making him push back his chair forcefully and both men to point their wands at each other across the table.
“Stop it!” Izabella yelled running over to push Sirius' arm down and stand in front of him. Sirius stared at Snape over Izabella's head, his chest rising and falling rapidly. Snape's lip curled and he sat down glaring at Izabella.

“Remember who's side you're on Izabella.” he said warningly.
“I don't take sides Severus.” she spat, pushing Sirius into his chair.
“Maybe you should.” he said quietly.

Harry frowned.
“Why would she take your side?” he asked narrowing his eyes. Snape smirked at Izabella.
“So you haven’t told Precious Potter yet? I wondered why he was still talking to you.”
Izabella sat back down and looked at her folded hands which lay on the table in front of her.
“Be quiet Severus.” she said mumbled.
Harry looked between Sirius and Izabella exasperatedly. Snape sighed.

“Izabella is my sister.” he stated.
“Half sister.” Izabella pointed out clearly.
She looked up and glared at Snape then looked at Harry pleadingly. He stared back at her open mouthed for a moment as if he was going to say something. Around the table the Weasley's and Hermione watched her with surprised eyes, some gasping quietly.
Snape smirked sitting back in his chair and resting his chin on his hands. Izabella scowled at him then pushed her chair back and left the room, hurriedly making her way upstairs.
