Isabella Black: A Marauder's Daughter

Intro: I never knew my father. My mother never told me the truth about my father. I grew up without knowing a real father in my life and after I was born my mother gave me the name of Isabella Black. I am the daughter of Sirius Black and this is my story.

Let me describe myself to you: I have long black hair that curls at the ends. I have hazel eyes that are almond shaped. My skin is as white as the snow and my lips are a vivid red in color. I have the most beautiful smile. My mother says that I look like my father, Sirius Black that who I haven't met.

Let tell you how my father met my mother. It was a dark and stormy night in 1979 when my father met my mother. My mother is a muggle and he is a wizard. It was love at first sight when they met. He lived in London and she lived on the outskirts of London in the village of Godric's Hollow. When they met my mother was struggling to carry a heavy basket in the pouring rain and my father asks her, "Do you need help with that basket?" My mother says, "Yes, sir and what is your name?" My father says, "My name is Sirius Black. What is your name miss?" My mother says, "My name is Jennifer Lynn Drake." Sirius says as he pulls out his wand to help my mother with her heavy basket, "Locomotor Basket." The basket raises off the ground and my mother, Jennifer Lynn Drake and my father, Sirius Black walk together with my mum in the lead. Sirius Black asks her, "Where do you live?" My mum says, "Right outside of London in the village of Godric's Hollow." They walk donw the cold lane tahat leads to my mother's house. My mother was 18 years old going on 19 years old and my father was 18 or 19 year old the night they met.

My mother thanked Sirius Black for helping her. She gave him a kiss on the cheek. He kisses her back. Then as my mom entered her house with my father, Sirius Black helped her with the basket that she was trying to carry. My fatehr left the and came baock several times to my mother's house the next few days. My parent's relationship grew into something more than being friends to lovers.

My mother got pregnant with me and my father disappeared from my mother's life. My mother was devasted when he got her pregnant with his baby. My mother got pregnant during the month of October. I was born in mid-July. It was July 15, 1980.

I grew up in Godric's Hollow realy close to where the Potter's house that was blasted and now is ruins. Since I grew there in Godric's Hollow, I was surrounded by witches and wizards. My mom was a muggle didn't mind me living there and we everything the muggle way.

Chapter 1: Birthday Surprises



Now I am been at Hogwarts for 4 years now and I am about to start my 5th year. On my 15th birthday I get the shock of a life about my father and who is was by my mum. She tells that my father is Sirius Black, a wizard that my mother once loved dearly and she had lost contact with him. Jennifer Lynn Drake says to me, "Isabella, that is why I gave the last name of Black and I know Sirius is your father because you look just like him a spitting image of him." I was shocked and I didn't know what to say.

When I started Hogwarts in 1991 and I was sorted into Ravenclaw House. My wand is 7 3/4 ins., supple, maple, with a core of a phoenix feather and I got it at Ollivander's Wand Shop. I didn't tell Mr. Ollivander my real last name, so I used my mother's last name when I brought my wand.

I met the famous Harry Potter and his two best friends, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger at Howgarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. Even thought they don't have most my classes that I at the same time expect for Ancient Runes with Hermione Granger.

Chapter 2: Boarding the Hogwarts Express


I board the Hogwarts Express on September 1, 1995 starting my 5th year. I am on a quest to find and meet my father, Sirius Black. I find a compartment where my friends are. My friends names are Azura Thomas, Padma Patil, Parvati Patil and Christina Lane.

My friend, Azura Thomas has blonde hair with baby-blue colored eyes. She is little bit shorter than I am. My friends Padma and Parvati Patil are twins and they are indentical. My other friend, Christina Lane has short-curly, blonde hair that is realy at the ends and she has hazel-colored eyes.

My three friends are in Ravenclaw with me and the other is Gryffindor. We met on the 1st train ride up to Hogwarts.

I didn't know all the things I was doing was magic and I thought I was muggle-born witch. I am half-blood because of my parents.

My friends and I talk about how the summer was. The Hogwarts Express leaves Platform 9 and 3/4 on its way to Hogwarts. The witch, who pushes the trolley full of wizards sweets comes to my compartment around 2 o' clock in the afternoon and my friends and I buy chocolate frogs, Dooble's bubble gum, licorice wands, pumkin pasties, cauldron cakes, and four bottles of butterbeer for us to drink. I pay for the food and drink and I start handing out the candy and the bottles of butterbeer.

While we were sipping on our butterbeers, I say to Padma. Parvati, Azura and Christina, "I have something to tell you." Christina says, "What is it, Isabella?" I take a deep breath and say, "I found out who my father is on my birthday." I stop what I am saying because Draco Malfoy comes into our compartment and eh starts mouthing off to us. I tell him to leave and he says, "You know I am Prefect and you better do what I tell you. " I yell, "GET OUT. YOU SLIMY EVIL GIT. LEAVE US ALONE. LEAVE NOW." Draco Malfoy says in reply to me, "No, Isabella. Make me." I slug him in the face with my left fist and I know I shouldn't have done it. Draco leaves my compartment with a black and blue eye. It was getting close to time arrive at Hogwarts. I can see the castle in the distance. So my friends and I change into our school robes. It was 7:30 PM when the Hogwarts Express stops at Hogsmeade Station.

I post this story on hpfz.com and they didn't say a thing about this story in the fan fiction section there.

My friends and I leave the Hogwarts Express. Then I see Draco muttering something to his friends and showing them the black and blue that I had given him. Padma, Parvati, Christina, Azura and I board the carriages that would take us up to Hogwarts castle. My friends and I get into the carriage right behind the one that Harry Potter and his friends where in. Everyone arrives to the oak doors of Hogwarts and then everyone from 2nd year to 7th exit their carriage and then enter Hogwarts.

I say good-bye to Parvati Patil as she head sto the Gryffindor House Table to sit down. Padma, Christina, Azura, and I head to the Ravenclaw House Table and then when we sit down I finish what I was saying in the train compartment in a whisper, "My father is Sirius Black." Padma says, "The mass murderer, Sirius Black is your father, Isabella." I say, "Yes, but I didn't know that he was a murderer. I just found out that he was my fahter on my 15th birthday and I was in shock when i found out it. I want to find him and meet him."

Sounds good, your definatly keeping my interest. I like how your using a first person perspective but it sounds like third person omnipotent. Very cool.

i really like your idea, but i find the first person, present tense kind of confsuing. It might help if you made it so isabella is telling about something that allready happened to her. So it's still in first person, but it's not talking about it as if it was happening right that very instant. that gets a little confusing. If you want to try that but are confused ( i didn't explain very throughly) you can pm me!! keep up the work!!

Isabella Black is written in 1st person-point of view as it happens to her. I only written up to up to detentions with Umbridge on HPFZforums already.

Chapter 3: Finding Out About Sirius Black

My friends and I leave the train. I see Draco muttering something to them showing his black eye I gave him. Padma, Parvati, Christina, Azura and I board the carriages behind Harry Potter and his friends. Everyone arrives to the oak doors of Hogwarts and exit their carriages. Everyone enters Hogwarts castle.

I say good-bye to Parvati Patil as she heads to the Gryffindore House table to sit down. Padam, Christina, Azura, and I head to the Ravenclaw House Table. We sitr down at the Ravenclaw House table and I finish what I was saying in the train compartment in a whisper, "My father is Sirius Black." Padma says, "The mass murderer, Sirius Black is your father, Isabella." I say, "Yes, he is my father, but I didn't know he was a murderer. I just found out that he is my father on my 15th birthday and I was in a deep shock from finding out that he was my father. I just want to out about him and meet him."

I start to watch the sorting cermony. I see the new Defense Against the Darks Arts teacher weatching the school at the students as the sorting cermony begins. The sorting cermony ends and Professor Dumbledore gets up form his seat and announces who is teaching Denfese Against the Dark Arts and she is Professor Dolores Umbridge, who look like a huge toad with a huge pink ribbon in her mousy-brown hair and ugly cartigan sweater with the most ugliest pattern on it.

She interupts Professor Dumbledore with a long boring speech and it was very boring. She finishes her speech and sits down at the staff table. Professor Dumbledore says, "Time to eat. Let the feast begin." The food appears on the tables. The sorting feast begins.

I grab some chicken wings, potatoes, and put them on my plate. I have a gobletful of pumpkin juice and I start to drink it. My friends and I talk as we eat drink our food and drink. I finish eating my food and drinking my drink I tell my friends to go up to the Ravenclaw House tower without me because I needed to talk with Headmaster Dumbledore and ask him about my fahter, Sirius Black and how I was going to find him and talk to him.

My friends head up the stairs up to the Ravenclaw House tower to the common room. I wait for Professor Dumbledore to get up from the staff table. He gets up and I walk over to him and I say, "I really need to talk to you in private." Professor Albus Dumbledore replies, "Yes, Miss Black? WHat you do you need to talk about?" I say, "About my father, but not here because the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Dolores Umbridge is watching us like a hawk."

Awesome love the use of Umbridge, this is the first story I've read with her in it.

Dumbledore leads me up to the Headmaster's office and as we get to the stone gargoyle that leads to the headmaster's office. Dumbledore says, "Chocolate frogs." and the stairs go up and we step on the stairs as we get the headmaster's office. He opens the door of the headmaster's ofice and tells me to sit down front of his desk. So I go and sit down. Albus Dumbledore sits behind his desk as he has his pensieve out extracting memories with his wand as he sits down and he says to me, "Miss Isabella Black, what is so important to tell?" I look into his blue eyes behind his hlaf-moon glasses and I say, "I found out who my fahter is and it none other than Sirius Black. I found out about it on my 15th birthday, sir. I didn't even know he was my father until now. My mother is a muggle, who had a relationship with Sirius Black. I need to find him." Dumbledore says, "Oh. I know your father very well. He was notorious for being a trouble maker with his friend, James Potter, Harry Potter's father, when he went here. Your father was in Azkaban Prison in your 3rd year and escaped. He has been on the run for the last 2 1/2 years. I think he will be shocked to find out that you are is daughter, Isabella." I just look at Dumbledore had just told me about my father, Sirius. Dumbledore continues saying, "Your father is an innocent man convicted of crime he didn't commit. Harry, Ron, and Hermione found the truth. Did you know your father is also the godfather of Harry Potter?" I say, "No, sir. I didn't know."

Oh my gosh, that was an awsome post!!! Pams please!!!!!!!!!!!

Chapter 4: Not Knowing the Password

Dumbledore looks at me and tells me that it is getting late. I thank him for telling me about my father before I get up from the chair. I get up very slowly, yeaning from the chair because I am tired. I open the door of the headmaster's office and then I close it. I head up to the Ravenclaw House tower to my dormitory.

When reach the portait that hid the Ravenclaw House Tower, I didn't know the password. The portait asks me, "Password?" I just lok at the portait with a blank stare. How was I going to enter the Ravenclaw House Tower without the password? I was thinking to myself, "What if I have to stay out here until morning and sleep out in front of the portait?"

The next thing I knew was I heard Peeves making quite a racket and Mr. Filch and his cat, Mrs. Norris running towards me. Mr. Filch come out from a tapestry with Mrs. Norris at his heels. Mr. Filch yells, "Peeves, I am going to have you thrown out for this. I am going straight to the Headmaster's office." Mrs. Norris spots me and starts meowing to get Mr. Filch attention. I am like saying to myself, "Oh no! I am going to get caught." I hide behind a suit of armor that Peeves didn't destory yet. I crouch down trying to remain hidden from view.

oh suspense!!!!!!!!!!!! Is she going to become friend with Harry, Ron,and Hermione? Can't wait for the next post!!!!!!!!!!!

I stay hidden from view as Mr. Filch passes the suit of armor that I am hiding behind. I hear Mr. Filch's footsteps echo as they go down the corridor. I need to get into my common room as soon as possible before Mr. Filch comes back. One of my friends opens the portairt for me from the inside and I enter the common room. My friend, Christina Lane is the one who opened the portait for me and she says to me, "The password is Phoenix." I say, "Thanks, Christina for opening the portait for me or I would have got caught by Mr. Filch for being out in the corridor late at night. Also, thanks for giving me the password as well." Christina says, "No problem, Isabella." We heads up to our dormitory together.

I see me bed with my trunk and I go to my bed. I open my trunk to get my pajamas and the picture of my father that my mother gave me on my 15th birthday when she told me the truth about my father, Sirius Black. I change into my pajamas and after that I place my picture of my father on the nightstand next next to my bed. I climb into bed and I fall asleep. I start dreaming about meeting my father, Sirius Black.

In the dream I see my father, Sirius Black where he currently at in hiding. I go up to him and I explain that I am his daugther. He is in shock and wonders how it that it is possible. The dream continues until I wake up the next morning.

Wow, was the dream a vision? Is she really going to meet Sirius? PAMS Please!!!
