Hello everyone! I am back with another FanFic! This FF is a bit different though. It is a D/Hr story instead of an H/Hr story. And the reason is because I think the song I have chosen to base my story off suits Hermione and Draco more than it would with Hermione and Harry. Anyways this story is called I’ll Stand By You (the song is by Carrie Underwood) and I hope you all enjoy!
Here is the first chapter…

Chapter 1:
“Hermione, why are you going out with him? He’s a Death Eater!” Harry Potter protested after Hermione Granger told him what she thought was good news.

“Harry, do you want me to spell it out for you? I L-O-V-E him! I love him!” Hermione complained.

“Hermione. He’s a Death Eater! Just look at what he’s done”.

“Harry, Draco has changed.”

Harry rolled his eyes.

“Hermione, how many times have you said that before?”

“Only once!”

Harry gave Hermione an 'Yeah right' look.

“Ok, maybe twice… ok, a lot of times!”

“And how many times have you been right?”

“I’m Hermione Granger. I’m always right.”

“Hermione! I’m not playing! Draco may have said he’s not a Death Eater, but we don’t know if he’s telling the truth!”

“Harry, he is! I know he is!” Hermione yelled.

“Fine! But when he tries to hurt you, I’ll make sure he’s dead before he can say ‘Quidditch’!"

“Thanks, Harry. I knew you’d understand.”

Hermione gave Harry a kiss on the cheek and went upstairs to her room.

{In Draco's room}

“I thought I told you to stay away from the mudblood,” a cold voice said.

Draco turned around to see his father, Lucius Malfoy, standing behind him.

“You did… and I obeyed,” Draco snapped.

“Don’t you lie to me!” Lucius snapped.

“I’m not!”

“Draco! If you do not leave that mudblood, I will personally kill you! I saved you once from the hands of the Dark Lord and let me assure you I will not do it again!”

And with those final words Lucius dissaparated.

Draco collapsed on his bed. He was tired of his father threatening him so much.

“But if those are the results of being with Hermione, then so be it” Draco yelled to a portrait in his room.

“I didn’t say anything,” the man in the portrait said as he walked out of the picture and was out of sight.

So this is the new FF coming up! The new ship: D/Hr...it's so exciting! This is so good! It's a fantastic start! PAMS
By the way...I'm glad this isn't a one-shot, 'cause I would be very depressed if it is. I don't want this to end!

Lucius Apparated and Disapparated in Hogwarts? 0.o
That's not possible with the spell around the place. If he could do that, the other Death Eaters could've Apparated onto the grounds before

Thanks! And umm I'm sorry I didn't mention it before but their not at Hogwarts in this story. Their at their houses since they are of age.

Here is the next chapter to my new FF I'll Stand By You"! Enjoy!

Chapter 2:
“Ron I’m going out with him so stop it!” Hermione yelled.

“Hermione this is the first time I actually think your being stupid!” Ron yelled back.

Harry had told Ron about Hermione and Draco and Ron had gotten furious.

“Stupid! That’s nice to know coming from a idiot like you!” Hermione shot back.

“Hermione he’s a Death Eater! Do I have to become one so you can like me?!”

Hermione stopped yelling.

“Ron how many times do we have to talk about this?”

“Hermione I have loved you for years and Draco Malfoy comes along and
after treating you like scum your dating him!”

“Ron your like a brother to me! I can’t date my own brother!”

“You’re going to regret everything! When he tries to kill you or something that’s when you’ll think ‘oh Harry and Ron were right’”.

“Well until that day comes will you shut up!” Hermione snapped.

Ron gathered his things and left.

“It was a mistake inviting Ron to dinner!” Hermione said rubbing her head.

At Draco’s house…

“I don’t want too!” Draco yelled.

“You do what you are told!” Voldemort snapped.

“Get out of my house!” Draco yelled.

“I will give you a week to decide where you loyalties lye Draco”.

“Then give me a week! The answer will still be no!”

Voldemort laughed and said, “We’ll see about that”.

He vanished.

Draco threw a tantrum. He broke everything that was within reach.

“Why me!?” Draco yelled. “I don’t want to be a Death Eater! I want to live a normal life!”

Just then the phone rang.

“Hello?” Draco answered rather rude.

“Draco what’s wrong?”

It was Hermione.

“Nothing. Why do you ask?” Draco said this time calmly.

Draco hated lying to Hermione but what was he suppose to say? 'Oh nothing

it’s just that Voldemort just stopped by and said I have to join his forces

because if I don’t he’ll kill you and then me'.

“You’re lying to me Draco”.

“I’m not darling. I promise I just don’t feel good”.

That was not a lye either. Draco felt like throwing up.

“What me to go over?”

“No! I mean no it’s okay.”

“I told them”.

“Harry and Ron?”

“Yes”.

“And? What did they say?”

“They said they’d kill you if you hurt me”.

“That’s nice to know” Draco said in a sarcastic tone.

“But I told them you never would”.

“And you’re right…”

“I know Draco”.

There was along silence. Then Draco spoke.

“Hermione I would die for you. Just remember that”.

“Draco no one is going to have to die”.

"At least not yet" Draco thought.

“I know hun but just to let you know”.

“Draco I have to go. I love you”.

“I love you too”.

Draco hung up and sighed.

What’s a person suppose to do when someone you love is in danger because

of you?

Well yea they have their own houses and are living their lives as grown ups.
And part of being a grown up is making a commitment to those you love and that's exactly what Draco did. He made a commitment to keep Hermione alive.

Here is the third chapter to I'll Stand by You!

Chapter 3:
“A week has passed and I need to know whether you choose to live or die Draco” Voldemort said as he stared at Draco.

“I told you I’d rather die!” Draco snapped.

“You do know that means your little mudblood will die too”.

“Leave Hermione alone!”

“I’m afraid not,” Voldemort said.

And just then Draco’s front door opened and in came two Death Eaters. In between them was…

“Mum?” Draco said.

“Draco listen to what he tells you!” Mrs. Malfoy cried.

“I don’t want to be a Death Eater!” Draco yelled.

“Well Draco then let me just demonstrate what will happen to you if you refuse” Voldemort said.

Voldemort raised his wand and Draco ducked for cover. There was a flash of green light and a scream. Draco looked up. And right in front of him laid his mother…dead.

“Do you want to end up like that Draco?” Voldemort asked.

“No” Draco whispered, tears blurring up his vision.

“And would you like Miss Granger to end up like that too?”

“You leave Hermione alone!”

“I will as long as you do what I tell you to do!” Voldemort snapped.

Draco took out his wand and said, “Why don’t I make your life easier? I don’t think it’s fun having so many enemies”.

Voldemort laughed.

“No Draco it’s not but I can deal with it. Lower your wand you silly boy”.

Draco didn’t lower his wand.

“I want you to leave Hermione alone”.

“Well since you won’t join me I won’t be able too”.

“Why not?”

“Well actually I could…since she’s dead”.

Draco dropped his wand.

“She’s de..dead?”

“Yes. I told your father to capture her and if you didn’t agree to join me to kill her”.

Draco knew Voldemort was joking just so Draco would say he’d join.

“Then if she’s dead why do you want me?” Draco snapped.

“Then if she’s dead why won’t you join? You don’t have anyone to protect. She dead, your mother’s dead, and your father’s with me.” Voldemort shot back.

“I don’t believe you”.

“You don’t? Then here…” Voldemort waved his wand. “Have her body”.

On the floor appeared Hermione’s body…lifeless.

Draco’s heart sank. He had actually thought Voldemort had been joking.

Draco realized Voldemort was right. Hermione was gone and so was his mother. He had no one else to care about.

“Fin…fine” Draco said.

“Fine what?” Voldemort sneered.

“I’ll be a Death Eater”.

“Excellent! All we have to do is give you our symbol”.

Voldemort grabbed Draco’s arm and touched it with the tip of his wand. Draco screamed. After Voldemort removed his wand Draco looked down to see a skull with a snake as a tongue…the symbol of a Death Eater.

“I shall come by here to pick you up in about a week”.

That was all Voldemort said but before he left he turned to Draco and laughed.

“By the way Draco, your mudblood is still breathing”.

Draco looked at the bodies of Hermione and his mom. They were gone. Voldemort had tricked him.

Draco burst into tears. He had been tricked and now he was a Death Eater. He had no choice but to leave with Voldemort. To leave everything behind…even Hermione.

I personally think it'd be a great twist if Hermione was just in some sort of Stupified coma kind of state and Draco believed she was dead when she really wasn't and...

Hermione is not dead. Voldemort just said that so he could trick Draco into becoming a Death Eater... and it worked.
