Ok so this is a journal of my charrie that is coming to Hogwarts after my current charrie leaves :) He is Sammy's little brother, and is the shyest boy ever. But you will figure that out later ;)

February 1, 2066

Ok, so…um…I really don’t know what to write. Are we supposed to write what we are thinking right now, or how we felt throughout the day? Uh…I guess I’ll start with my name. My name is Danny Logan Edwards. I am eight years old and my birthday is in December. So I am going to be eight for a while. I don’t know what else to say, so um…Maybe I’ll go write to Sam for some help.

February 1, 2066, again

Ok I’m back. I got scared and didn’t ask Sam. Well then again, I couldn’t exactly go to her room and ask her. She is at Hogwarts right now. But I did find an old diary in her closet. She didn’t have much written in it. I think she was seven when she written it, but I got some answers. So I am basically suppose to talk to you like a friend I guess. That is what she did at least. I can write whatever I want in here. Like for instance I can write in here that I got extra dessert last night and not get in trouble.

Ok so I already introduced myself, so yeah…I go to Pacific Elementary School, which I hate. Too many kids there. Plus the class is too small. I feel like the room is closing in on me sometimes. I know it isn’t but it feels like it.

Um...yeah, I’m going to talk about something else now. I’m sitting in the living room right now watching “the twins”. That is their name apparently cause that is all my mom and dad refer to them as. They are really named Ethan and Breanna. They are new to the family. Born in November. So that would make them almost four months. You may ask why I, only an eight-year-old boy, is watching two four-month-old babies. Well for one they are both sound asleep. I think…Breanna is a little fidgety, but I don’t think she is awake. My mom is asleep on the coach. So even if Bre did wake up, mom would wake up too. My dad is at work so I am the only one awake in the house. Even Lizzie is asleep on my shoulder. Lizzie is my pet iguana.

Ok so I have gone in the wrong direction. I am supposed to be telling about my feelings right? Right now, I am…calm. It’s really peaceful in here. And my mind isn’t going a mile a minute. Why would my mind be going a mile a minute? Well lots of reasons, but I don’t want to write them down right now because that would make me think about it all. And right now it feels nice to just be able to sit in the corner and not have a care in the world.

Ok, so um…I’ve reread everything I just read and I realized I didn’t say anything…sorry I guess. I’ll umm...Make next time a little interesting…Um…ok…Breanna is awake now. I’m going to take Lizzie outside. Umm…Do I say bye? Or do I just sign my name? Uh…I guess I’ll say Bye. So, Bye!

So I just realized I didn’t even tell you how I got um, this journal thingy. Or do I call it a you? Or wait, you? Uhh, anyways, my older sister Sam (who is full name is Samantha) sent it to me for my birthday. I guess the post there is closed or something, cause in the letter it said it took her awhile to get it over here. She said she felt really bad about forgetting my birthday, but I didn’t really mind. I don’t like making a big deal that it’s my birthday. I don’t feel any older. I especially hate the whole sitting in front of a cake and everybody singing Happy Birthday. I turn bright red every time. But I was glad to hear from her. Its nice to know that she was thinking about me.

In this entry I was thinking about telling you (yeah I guess I’m just going to call you, a you) about some of my friends. They are all around my age, well they are mostly a year older than me, but close enough. Legend Chosen, Kaitlynnh Mae (who is also my cousin), Matias Sulo and James Maguire. I’m also beginning to like Leah. I’m not really sure what her last name is…

Legend: Legend can be described in one word, crazy. He is constantly running around and pulling pranks. He likes to say dude a lot too. I find it funny. Legend never forgets to tell me that all girls have cooties and to never be hugged by them. He also told me that boys are better than girls. One more thing about Leg, he likes to go around saying he is king.

Katie: Katie in one word, Loud. She doesn’t have to try hard to make herself heard. She is the girl of the group (I mean besides Leah) and I think she likes to try and be the leader. But Legend does too, so they are constantly fighting. They are the only two who can fight and make me smile. I usually hate when people fight but they fight like brother and sister. Sam says they fight like an old married couple, whatever that means. Oh that reminds me. Katie loved to tell anybody and everybody that she is queen. But Legend is king so that would make her his queen? I don’t know I need to ask them about that sometimes.

Mat: Mat makes me think of that movie Lilo and Stitch. Don’t ask me why, but he does. The night before we left Grandma Angelina’s house he kept on telling everybody to call him Mike. That was entertaining. Him and Legend are perfect for each other; cause Mat doesn’t like girls either. They are always teaming up on Katie. One day Katie is so going to get them back, but I didn’t say that.

Leah: I just recently met Leah, and all I can say about her is, she is really smart. When I first saw her she knew my name. I was in awe, and then Jae told me that he had told her about me. At first I thought she was just that smart. She is a pretty laid back person like myself. She is different than the other girl in our group. I don’t mean that in a bad way. She is just not as loud as Katie. Wait, that sounded mean…Leah is cool basically.

Jae: Jae is my best friend. I love all my friends, but Jae is just a little more special than the rest. He is the first person who got me to talk after, well, after something bad happened in my family. I’m not ready to write it down yet…but yeah, I know Jae will always be there for me. I look up to Jae almost as much as Benny…Um…new subject. Jae loves Gaelic Football. He is like obsessed. There won’t be a day that goes by without Jae saying something about the sport. He tried teaching me once, but I’m no good at sports at all. One thing I like a lot about Jae, is his Irish accent. It always makes me smile for some reason. I wish I could talk like that sometimes.

So those are my friends. They are Royal, not from this world, smart and obsessed. I wouldn’t change anything about them. Its what makes them unique. They make me laugh and they could all make me blush. But pretty much anybody can make me blush. I’m just a shy boy with outgoing friends. But they all seem to like me for who I am, and that is why they are my friends.

I’ve just realized I haven’t explained the pictures on the front page. The first picture is me. I don’t remember why I was smiling. My mom loves that picture and shows everybody. I really wish she didn’t. It makes the person tell me how cute I am and tells me I should smile more often. I blush more than I smile, and I don’t like when people tell me to smile. It’s just rude in my eyes. The picture next to it is my older brother and sister when they were little. I think Sammy was younger than me in that picture. She still has that hat.

Moving on. The next picture is of Lizzie! My pet iguana. I’m still a little surprised that my mom let me keep her. She never really liked animals in the house. It took forever for Benny to talk my mom into buying Sammy’s cat. I’m glad he bought her. I love animals. They are there for you without the talking. I like that. Lizzie is always with me. Most people usually don’t take their pet iguana around with them because it can be bad for them. But Lizzie seems to like it. She is usually sleeping wherever I take her, but I don’t mind. She is crawling on my leg right now. Iguanas don’t move fast, unless its chow time, so she is sort of tickling my leg right now with her claws.

Jersey is Sammy’s pet cat. She is a three-year-old calico. Sammy says she is almost human because she does whatever she wants, when she wants to. She gets mad because she never listens to her, but what does she expect? She isn’t a dog. Sammy says I’m some kind of animal whisperer because I’m the only person she will let hold her. I don’t do anything different really. But she is just one of those pets that don’t like to be held. I only pick her up when she isn’t running all over the place. That is always the time when Sam is trying to pick her up. I tried to explain that to her but yeah. She still tries. Maybe I should tell you a little about my family.

Samantha Elise Edwards: She is my older sister by about six or seven years. Sam is pretty outgoing. Way more than me anyways. She is also a tomboy. I think that’s what it’s called. She likes to do boy things. At least that’s what my mom says. I don’t really know what that means. What is the difference? Anyways, she got to the point where she thought her name was too girly, so she shortened it to Sam. She lets people call her Sammy though. She has been very protective over me a lot lately. I actually appreciate it, in a way. I don’t like how she always fights with my mom though. They are both very stubborn people, that’s what my dad says. I think I know what that word means. And if I am right, then they are both really stubborn.

Mom: My mom is very organized. She likes to have things a certain way, which probably comes in handy at work. She works at Gringotts. So she needs to be organized. I don’t like going to my mom’s work. The goblins are scary. They always stare at me when I go there. It’s creepy. My mom is very motherly. Let me explain. She cares about her kids and can be very shielding when it comes to us. She is like a mother bear and we are her cubs. She doesn’t like much when we leave the cave.

Dad: My Dad is almost the complete opposite. I mean he loves us as much as my mom but he is way more laid back. He is calm too, which is where I get it from, I think. He owns a small little coffee shop close to home. Since he owns it, he is usually home a lot. He watches the twins and me while my mom is at work. He usually calms my mom down when she gets all parental on ones of us, (usually Sammy). My dad loves to read old books. I mean old books. He is reading a book called “To kill a mocking bird” by Harper Lee. It came out in 1960. That was hundred and six years ago! He told me the little girl in the story reminds him of Sammy. I don’t think I would like it. If they kill mocking birds, then it’s not a good book. I would never tell anybody this, but I like my dad a little more than my mom. Does that make me a bad person?

Ethan Korin Edwards: He is the next boy in the family. Only four months. My dad says he looks like me when I was that little. He does have the same colored hair as me, sort of. I think it’s a little bit lighter. He is very giggly. I’ll wake up in the morning and find Ethan in the crib laughing at absolutely nothing. Its weird. But I like him, he is funny. He is quieter than his twin and never cries much. The other day he learned how to make spit bubbles and that is all he does now.

Breanna Alma Edwards: She is the youngest out of the five of us. She looks exactly like Ethan. I don’t know how my mom can tell them apart. I get them mixed up. She doesn’t cry much either, just like Ethan. But whenever somebody takes Ethan in the other room, she screams her head off. My mom and dad both don’t get what is wrong with her but I think it’s obvious she doesn’t want to be separated from her twin. I should probably tell them that and it would make their lives easier (and my room much quieter) but I’m too shy to point it out to them. Breanna likes to think she is talking. She is always speaking in baby talk. Nobody understands her but I think she really thinks she is talking. Its funny.

Benny Michael Edwards: He is the oldest out of everybody. I look up to Benny a lot. He is my hero. He really is. I believe whole heartedly what Jae told me…I don’t want to write it out right now, but Benny saved my life. He has always been mature for his age. He is really wise too, at least he is in my eyes. Benny is my favorite person in the world and it makes a hundred times as hard for him to be in a coma. The whole thing is a long story and it’s too hard to write right now, so I’ll write about some other time.

I think I’m going to go head outside now. Give Lizzie some air. Bye for now!

Sorry I didn’t write yesterday. I was watching the twins! Well not by myself but almost. My dad was doing business with some man outside so it was just me and the twins. And they were wide awake! I was so scared at any minute one of them would start to cry but they never did. They sat there giggling to each other like they were telling secrets. Then Bre crawled to me! She’s never done that before! Then I guess Ethan wanted to be like Bre because the next thing I know Ethan was crawling toward me.

My eyes got so big I thought they were going to fall out. When they reached me they sat down next to me and began giggling again. I couldn’t help but smile at their mischievous smiles. Yeah they are babies but I swear its like they are planning something! I wanted to see if they would crawl again so I stood and walked to the other side of the living room and sat down. They looked at me with their light eyes and began giggling again. They giggle way too much.

This time Ethan took the lead and crawled to me first. Breanna was right behind him. I couldn’t believe it! I wanted to show my dad but he was still talking outside and I knew not to interrupt him. I was going to stand up and walk to the other side again, but Bre must have known I was going to do that because she began crawling back to the spot I was sitting a little while ago. Ethan stayed behind and watched me with curious hazel eyes. I then got up and crawled toward Bre. She began squealing with excitement and my cheeks burned. But I actually didn’t mind blushing for once.

I reached Bre and she began talking in baby language. Ethan laughed with glee on the other side of the room. I smiled and began crawling toward Ethan now. I could hear Bre crawling behind me. Ethan saw us coming and began crawling away. But I was faster and I reached him just as the front door opened. I looked up just in time to see my dad’s shocked face. I felt my cheeks flush and I stood up on two feet. The twins were still giggling when my dad spoke. He was surprised and happy that the twins were finally crawling. He then began asking me questions and I looked down shyly. I felt bad that I didn’t answer even one of his questions but he didn’t seem to mind.

He told mom as soon as she got home and she got excited too. They kept saying they were proud of me but I didn’t do anything. So I didn’t get that. Yeah so that was my day yesterday. Nothing exciting happened today so nothing to write about. I’m going to go eat dinner now. Bye!

Sorry I haven’t written in a while. Like a really long while. I didn’t have much to write. The only thing that is worth writing is my uncle Theo and his family came to visit. The kids are on spring break so nobody is missing school. My uncle Theo is nothing like my dad. One thing that they have in common is they are both muggleborns. The rest of that side of the family are just muggles. But they do think my aunt Peo could have been a muggleborn if she wanted to be one. They say she is really stubborn but I don’t know her well enough to agree. Plus I’m not entirely sure what the word means. I should ask Jae to ask Leah.

So I went off track. My uncle Theo is not like my dad because he is really loud. Everything about him is loud. His voice, his laugh, even when he sneezes it comes out noisy. He likes to be center of attention. Always telling stories of things back in Greece. Some are actually really fun to listen to. But he usually always tries to ask me when I will be coming to stay with him and everybody else. Nothing against my uncle Theo, but I don’t think I would go. Maybe if Sammy went with me. Uncle Theo scares me a little bit. He has to be at least six feet tall. The twins love him though. They giggle like crazy when he is around.

My cousins came with him too. I think I already wrote that, but oh well. The first-born is Adelpha. Everybody calls her Adie though. She is going to turn seventeen in about a month. Adie is quiet and keeps to herself. She isn’t shy really; she just looks like she is in her own little world. Whenever I see her she always looks like she is thinking about something. I wonder what she thinks about. She has thoughtful, coffee colored eyes and wavy black hair. She looks like any other Greek girl. Or what I expect a Greek girl to look like. I like Adie; she doesn’t talk much either so I don’t have to hide from her like I do everybody else.

The second born is Andreus. Everybody calls him Andi. He is almost my age. He turns ten in July, I think. Andi is laid back like his sister but he is a talker like his dad. He has dark brown hair that is almost black and forest green eyes. Of course, he is taller than me, but who isn’t? I guess where he lives its really close to the beach, so he surfs everyday. He told me he learned how to surf when he was only four years old. I could never do any of things he said he did. One trick he can do is called “Hanging Ten”. I guess that is where your toes hang over the very edge of the board. I would be scared of falling. But he loves it. He looked a little sad when he asked if there was a beach close by and my dad said no. Andi is nice enough. Uncle Theo calls him “The Little Gentleman”, but I have been sort of hiding from him. He always wants to play and talk with me. Its not that I don’t like him, I just get really shy around him. More than most people.

The last-born is Adonia. Everybody but my uncle Theo calls her Nia. Uncle Theo always calls her Adonia or baby girl. She just turned seven in February. She is like her dad in a way that she is always the center of attention. Whenever she asks for something, she gets it right away. My mom says my uncle Theo spoils her. One day she wanted ice cream, so he took all the kids to the ice cream parlor. I think if it were Andi or Adie who asked, we wouldn’t have gone. Nia isn’t a brat, but she knows when she wants something, she is going to get it. Does that make sense? Nia usually ignores me, and I’m entirely glad. Nia doesn’t really look like Andi or Adie. She has a light brown-ginger colored hair. But she does share Andi’s forest green eyes.

My aunt Erianthe had to stay in Greece because she has to work. I don’t know her very much, so I don’t have much to write about her. I do know that her name in Greek means “sweet flowers.”

I think I’m going to end my entry here. I hear somebody walking down the hall. It might be uncle Theo wondering where I am. He hasn’t been here long enough to know that being around a lot of people freaks me out. He is always trying to get me to participate in the family stuff. Luckily Mom stopped that a while ago. But Uncle Theo hasn’t. Yeah, there goes a knock on my door. Bye!
