 Credit to Kazzer123 at Vogue Graphics for the banner! Hiya! I'm back, and this time with a Dramione fic! i think this one could be an actual FF! (I've previously done one shots and drabbles only, i have a few FF's here too!) So here it goes! Beautifully Bruising Sa13+ There was something about her. About him. Something had changed her. Over the summer, there was something...different. Or was it just him? He didn't know. However, he could wonder...he could, think about it? Draco Malfoy ran his perfectly formed fingers through his platinum blonde hair, as a sigh left the pale pink lips that accented the sharp jawline. As his hands ran through the soft hair his pale ice eyes flickered towards the mirror that hung in front of him. His hands dropped with a soft thump on to his lap, his green slytherin robes creasing with the extra pressure upon the elite fabric. He was back at Hogwarts for his seventh year. Although many had said it was a stupid thing to do, there was...something...getting at him, somehthing had urged him to come back. He had had to put up with the humiliation of the scowls and desperate flees in the opposite direction whenever he had dared to show his face in the corridors. The professors treated him with looks of distaste, with complete restrained anger. Any privelage that Draco might have enjoyed as a seventh year had been stripped from him. He was allowed no communication. Nothing. This was what you got for being pureblood royalty. Only, there was something that told him it could be alright...just...something. Admittedly, knowing, on gut instinct that something was to be alright wasn't the best thing to act upon, but it was all that kept the youngest Malfoy going. At this moment in time, being a Malfoy, was not the best thing to boast about. The mirror on the wall shone with the light of torches, beneath him was the soft rugged olive green carpet, the autumn green drapes of his four poster hung gracefully behind him. He rose, quietly, slowly, and looked at himself in the mirror. Once more, he brushed back the platinum fringe, and traced a small fresh cut upon his forehead. I hope you like!

Oh thank you all so much! You guys are the best lol! Ok, since you all wanted an update...HERE IT IS!

That scar would tell him to remember everything. That small tiny cut, just below his hair line would tell him to keep his head straight. It would tell him to remember just exactly what it was he was here to do. Only, things really weren't that simple anymore. At seventeen years old Draco Malfoy had seen what the Dark Lord could do.
As much as it enticed him, that pure control, that simple lust for power, that desire to have it as he wanted it, there was something...disturbing about it. He let his fringe drop once more on to his forehead. He took his wand off the chest of draws that stood just underneath the mirror and twirled the fine bit of wood within his fingers.
This wand had done so much. But could he really say it was the wand? It was him, mouthing the words, thinking the curses, knowing the jinxes and hexes that he would throw against his opponent. The smooth shining wooden wand was his lifeline, it was all he had of him. It was all he had that he knew he could control. He knew, that with that wand, he could cause what ever he wanted. He slipped it into his pocket and took one final look at himself in the mirror. He would do.
Turning to leave the Slytherin Boys Dormitory he had that stabbing feeling in his chest again. The one that told him something was up. There was something...different. That he needed to be careful. He would listen to his heart now, he knew better.
He strode confidently out of the Dormitory, and into the Common Room a group of first years scattered to the sides as he walked through the middle of them, awe and fear upon their faces.
"Draco!" A shrill female voice trilled. He stopped and cringed, slowly turning on the spot. "Draco!" A girl was running towards him, with bobbed brown hair an a nasty smile upon his face Pansy Parkinson was just what his mother wanted him to marry. Pureblood perfection.
"Pansy" He stated with a faintest trace of distate, well, the girl was good for something he supposed.
She reached him and clutched his arm, standing on tiptoe to kiss his cheek, at the contact he held his breath wishing it would all go away. She was supposed to be his girlfriend, but maybe, maybe, she wasn't who he wanted.
He began his walk across the Common Room again, with Pansy clinging to his arm like a petrified spider monkey and listened to her babble. Really, what did he care if her mother had bought a 'ghastly orange set of dress robes' If Pansy detested them so much, why didn't she just get rid of them?
He would never understand girls.
He got to the wall space and opened it, ready to get out, he took a few steps out into the cold corridors of the dungeons and there she was.
In all her messy beauty.

Hermione Jane Granger stood there, her brown mane of stunning brown hair tumbled around her shoulders and part way down her back, her fringe just scraping above those bright hazel mysterious eyes. Her full, yet delicate figure panted, as her cheeks flushed a rosy red.
She looked incredible. Draco couldn't quite take his eyes off of her. She was just that stunning. For a mudblood, Hermione was a fine looking mudblood.
"Errr" Said someone. Oh wait. It was Pansy. Draco slumped slightly at the sound of her voice, his eyes still fixated on Hermione, but, for some reason, he couldn't look away. There were butterflies in his stomach, a sick feeling hammering in his chest. However, for appearances sake, he pulled on a smirk on his face.
"Ewww, Draco, there's filth in the corridor" Pansy whined, scowling. Hermione heard his girlfriends complaints and looked at her before clutching her eyes and screaming.
"OH! OH THE SIGHT! EWWW OH THE UGLINESS OF A PURE BLOOD URGH!" Malfoy smirked harder seeing the beautiful brunette come back with a retort. Pansy looked disgusted and lifted her nose in the air. He smiled lightly, allowing those perfect features of his to change to what looked even more handsome than he already did.
"Oh is that the best you can come up with Granger?" Pansy spat in pure annoyance.
"Well i'm not going to waste anythought on you pugface." Hermione snapped. an arguement quickly followed and as Draco watched the two girls bicker the sinking feeling in his stomach deepened. He knew that he would have to do something he would regret.
The memories of the summer flooded back, there was nothing quite as horrific as what he could remember that summer. He knew his orders, he knew what he would have to do. Only he would be able to do it. No one else knew what he would have to be.
"Come Draco" Pansy ordered, dragging him away from a fuming Hermione. "How was your summer?" She asked him, "I heard you recieved orders..." She whispred, clearly hoping he was going to share them with her.
"Yes." He replied bluntly, "I did, and if you're hoping for an answer, you're not going to get one."
"Oh," she answered, "well, can i um...help with it in anyway?" She raised her eyebrow at him, clearly implying something else. She had come in useful as a source of stress relief in the previous year but this time...it was different. He couldn't quite get his head around her...
"No. You can't" He barked at her.
"well fine!" She exclaimed. The signs of a temper tantrum flickering across that ugly face of hers.
His head was hurting and she really wasn't helping in anyway. He untangled his arm from hers and pushed her slightly away.
"Listen Pansy...i'm sorry, my head just hurts i'm going to get something for it." Draco lied, he knew it was better to get on her good side instead of being in the dog house with her. Who knew, the annoying thing might come in useful later on.
"Oh ok," She said soothed by his appology and kissed his cheek. She left him and hung onto her female cronies that were calling for her up ahead.
He walked around the corner and wiped his cheek a scowl across his pale face.
"Trouble in paradise Malfoy?" said a cheeky familiar voice.
She must have been stalking him.

Well...here's that promised post!

"What's it to you Granger?" He snarled at her, trying to ignore the look of pure amusement across her face. Unfortunately, that look suited her well...too well.
"Nothing, i just think it's funny that the great Draco Malfoy, the guy who has nothing better to do that get girls to drool over him - oh and attempting to kill headmasters, has trouble with his girlfriend...thats all." She replied with a foul glare. That look was more accustomed to her face, but Draco didn't like it.
What was worse was that his stomach clenched at the mention of his orders last year. He didn't like to be reminded of them. At all. A menacing snarl ripped across his face, his pale skin flushing faint pink at the accusation.
"I do not go out of my way to make girls drool over me as you put it. If they have a problem with closing their mouths around me then that's their problem. I don't ask for them to hope i'll kiss them. Like any of them are worthy of me anyway." He seethed at her, scowling at the grin that was creeping on to Hermione's face.
His head was pounding, his stomach fluttering, and it had all started since he saw her. WHY? Oh, he knew why, but he wasn't really going to tell anyone. He couldn't.
"Oh yes of course!" Mocked Hermione, "You only go out with purebloods! Silly me! How could i forget that?" She tossed her hair over her shoulders and did a high pitched girly laugh, mocking herself as well as him. He scowled even more at that. She was using her brains and making herself seem stupid so he couldn't insult her intellegence. He really hated her right now.
"Oh very funny mudblood, watch me fall off my feet with hysterics" Draco retorted, his tone bored, his pale sharp face void of much expression as his head gave a frightening thump of pain. Great thinking Draco, he thought to himself, oh yeah, resort back to - Mudblood a little more imaginative next time yes?
What Draco didn't notice was that his face twitched slightly at the throb in his head and Hermione noticed. She didn't say anything though. Hermione wasn't that stupid.
Draco rubbed his forehead and sighed completely unaware that he was revaling the cut to Hermione, his silver eyes shimmered with melancholy, he seemed resigned.
"So what do you want anyway Granger?" He asked her - almost pleasantly.
In reply Hermione dug her hand into her pocket pulling out a silver badge.
"You need this, all Prefects, Captains, and the Head Girl and Boy need them" she reminded him, handing him a prefect badge. He looked at her chest briefly and caught sight of the scarlet and gold shimmer of her 'Head Girl'
Badge on her robes.
"So why didn't i get it in the post?" He asked her completely stumped.
"Well, if you've been living in the wizarding world Malfoy, you would have noticed that Daddy's best friend has been playing - let's go kill as many people as possible! Therefore, nothing - including post, is safe anymore!" She answered him, a barbie girl smile upon her face, her brown hair bobbing about her shoulders, her hazel eyes gleaming cheekiliy.
"Thats not fair Mudblood, don't mention my Father!" Draco answered her. His head pounding again. His voice was raised slightly towards her.
Hermione smiled in response, and she put her hand in her pocket once more.
"There's a meeting tonight in the prefects common room, i have to brief all the prefects with Ernie, the head boy - don't miss it, it's important." She told him in a kind voice. She turned to leave but spun round again. "Oh yeah! It's at eight!" and walked off again.
For a reason he knew, but didn't want to admit, Draco watched her leave. He could have hexed her right then and there for insulting him and his family but he didn't. Instead he watched mesmirised as her hair bobbed about her rosy cheeked face, swung about her shoulders and put the models in the loreal adverts to shame.
He watched the way she walked, the way she moved, the way she laughed and smiled as the youngest Weasley ran up to her in the hallway. As much as he really didn't want to admit it. He was pretty intoxicated by her.
He swore loudly as he realised what he had been doing and turned to go up the stair case once more. Pining on his prefects badge he needed some kind of stress relief.
A first year tripped up in front of him. Slowing him down.
"Fifty points from Ravenclaw!" He barked, there. He knew first years had a point for existing.

Here's that update!

Draco stomped his way up to the hospital wing, the sick sensation in his stomach increasing, swilling about his body, making him feel dizzy and disorientated. He moaned slightly as his head throbbed, the pounding sensation drilling like a drum swiftly though each time his heart beat. Maybe he was coming down with something? He didn't know. He did know however that the cut on his forehead was bleeding slightly. It was telling him he had to do his job.
He stumbled deleriously into the hospital wing and moaned in what he hoped made sense. The complete shock of what had happened in the space of twenty minutes or so was simmering through him too. His head had started hurting just after he'd touched the tiny tear in his forehead, and his stomach had started to churn just after he'd seen Pansy and Hermione.
Well, he could understand feeling sick about seeing Pansy, that girl would nauseate a brick wall. Yet, the real sick feeling had started after that fight with Hermione. He had started to feel all over the place.
Sweat now matted his hair to his head, the once bright platinum blonde hair, was now a dusty gold as his ice eyes failed to gleam with the life behind them.
"...Pom...frey..." he managed to mumble before the world became black liquid, and tipped itself to the side. The last words Draco heard were stunned and horrified excaims and cries from the people already there.
"Draco!" Hissed a furious Lucius Malfoy, "How could you even think of doing this to your family? Humiliating the Malfoy name like that?"
"I'm sorry Father" Draco moaned his head dropping with shame, he knew what was coming.
"You will be punished Draco, as soon as i get out of this place you will be punished!"
Visiting hours at Azkaban where never pleasant. The fact that Draco had falied in killing Albus Dumbledore was the worst thing Draco could have done. It meant that the Malfoy's were in trouble in the Dark Lords eyes. There was going to be trouble in the own Malfoy home.
"You are going to make our lives easier Draco. I have recieved orders once more from the Dark Lord himself and you are to kill the mudblood that Potter is friends with. If you fail. You will be killed yourself Draco. Do not let us down!" Lucius explained angrily, suddenly; his hands shot out and grabbed Draco at the collar and pulled him into the bars that surrounded his cell. His head collided with the sharp shards of metal and a shock split through his skull.
"DO. NOT. FAIL." Lucius spat at him. Then, throwing his son back, he got ready to return to the one place only a few Dementors still lurked, but the effect was still as terrifying as ever before, with more and more Criminals being released for their alliance to the Dark Lord. The ones whom he felt had failed him still remained. His Father was one of them.
He was to kill Hermione, or die himself.
He awoke with a jolt.
"Hey, hey calm it" Soothed a soft voice, a strong hand pressed him back into a world of white soft warmth. Somebody, wiped at his forehead gently with something and then a gush of warm air blew at him, drying out his sheets that he didn't know where damp.
He was cooled down by the blurry somebody who as far as he could figure had brown hair.
"Calm it Draco" the person with the kind voice said once more and brushed cool fingers over his cheek, "Calm" the person was a female, "Shhh...come on, go to sleep." He moaned piteously and then closed his eyes.
But not to rest, to listen to this woman whose voice he recognised.
