xlillyx I wish it was hot by me. I got excited when it hit 50 degrees on Sunday. There's incredibly too much snow and ice outside my door right now. I've fallen a total of 5 times.

|  well you've been so patient with me heres another one!
Chapter Forty
Harry didn’t want to let go of her ever again and as she lay on the side of his bed, her uninjured hand was firmly in his own. They were all around his bed smiles of relief and surprise, tears of joy that the boy who lived was still with them and there was not another loss in this war.
“Who killed Nagini?” he looked to Caleb and Willow, standing hand in hand,
“Ginny” they replied “After we all saw you… well we gave her the sword”
Harry smiled and squeezed her hand.
“And have you been cleared I mean being a death eater in disguise as well as an order member has its price”
“Yes, we proved our loyalty to the order and when they believed that we infiltrated the death eater without telling them because it was the only way they would let us do it. Voldemort never knew about the destruction of the Horcruxes, he didn’t know how close he was to death until the time came”
“Are they all in prison, I mean all those that were there?”
“We believe we have captured a majority, though some maybe in hiding” Said Lupin, Harry nodded and looked at Tonks standing next to him, she looked different, but he couldn’t tell what it was.

He lay back against his cushions exhausted after they had asked him questions and left leaving Ron, Hermione and Ginny. Ginny climbed up properly next to him, and lay at his side. He put an arm around her, he wasn’t in any pain thought there were bruises and cuts all over him, and the smile on his face wouldn’t go away.
“How did you come back Harry? I mean you were… well you were dead mate” Said Ron not thinking of any better way to word it.
“Ginny I think” he rubbed his head “I can only remember hitting the floor and then hearing her voice, you were there and I wanted to wake up, I want to stop you crying and screaming and tell you I wasn’t gone but I couldn’t” he said looking at her and then to Ron, “She saved me, it was love just like Dumbledore always said”
“You heard me?”Ginny looked up at him, “I just wanted you so badly to hear me and to wake up, I just… I didn’t want to believe you had gone” tears started to fall again and he held her tightly. Ron looked at Hermione, her eyes tearing up to and he took her hand and gestured for them to leave. They stood up and left, Harry and Ginny not noticing them go.
He whispered in her ear “I promised I wouldn’t leave you, I thought I would have to though, as much as I didn’t want too… I had to, you understand don’t you?”
He felt her head nod against his chest, “I love you Ginny Weasley, I always will and I want to be with you for the rest of my days if you’ll have me”
“Of course I will, I don’t want anyone else as long as I have you”
“Thank you Gin”
“I know Harry” she closed her eyes and listened to his heart beat, the best noise in the world right now was to hear it still going, still beating in time with her own.

Harry’s eyes opened, when the person left the plate and walked away. He hadn’t slept, he didn’t want the darkness. Ginny’s opened soon after. “Well the hospital food in here is better then as a muggle patient” Harry grinned, reaching over for strawberry from the pancakes. The curtains were around them and he sat up as she did and stretched. “How is it so quiet? You’d think they’d be celebrating” She asked him,
“Maybe it hasn’t sunk in yet, I mean it has been an awful seven years to get over as well as the last time he was in power. They all thought he was gone for eleven years and then he possesses a teacher, you from a diary, tries to kill me in a grave yard, then the ministry and then kill’s Dumbledore using Snape”
“He has been quite a pain hasn’t he” she smiled “but its all over now and there’s no way he can come back, is there?”
“I don’t know Ginny, but I can’t feel him anymore, it’s just me in here now. He killed his own soul and not mine; mine just took a nap until you woke it up”
“Thank Merlin I did or you would be buried out there now”
“You were going to bury me in the school grounds?”
“They were, I didn’t think you were dead remember I was in shock and I still am, or is this a dream?” she pinched her arm and he laughed,
“It’s not a dream Gin, im right here” he leaned in and kissed her tenderly,
“No – defiantly – not – a – dream” she smiled kissing him back.
“Oi cut it out you two” said Ron bursting through the curtains, “You may have been dead, but it doesn’t mean you can kiss my sister in front of me, ever”
“What? Like this you mean” Harry smirked and kissed her again, his arms around her waist, her own unbroken one still at his neck. Ginny giggled and broke away to see Ron’s scowling face, Hermione smiling next to him.
“He was joking Ron” Hermione smiled,
“I was not” he grinned “If im going to spent forever with his sister like I promised her, he’s going to have to get used to it” He kissed Ginny’s cheek, “I died there’s no way im being sensible ever again, I’m living everyday to the fullest, and if that means kissing Ginny Weasley whenever I feel like it so be it”
Ron couldn’t help but smile at Harry’s reply, “Well im sorry you feel like that Harry, because now I have to kiss Hermione in front of you two as well”
“What-”Hermione was completely surprised, but she couldn’t get anymore words in as Ron kissed her lovingly and held on to her as they broke away.
She nudged his ribs “Don’t you ever do that again Ronald, honestly I can’t take you any where” she smiled. “Now we all have that off of our chests, I can say that school has been cancelled until after Christmas, and we get to go home today, though I don’t think Madam Pomfrey will let you go, everyone’s packing for the train as we speak, it’s leaving after the feast this afternoon”
“An extra week of holidays, and I know just how to spend them” Said Harry in thought,
“How?” said Ginny, Hermione and Ron,
“Getting ready for Christmas, everyone’s coming to my place” said Harry smiling brightly, “So I’d better get cleaning”
“You’re in no fit state for cleaning Mr Potter” Said a voice opening the curtains fully and walking over to check his pulse,
“Of course you’re invited too Madam Pomfrey, how could ever forget the nurse who’s healed me so many times over the years?” He smiled and she blushed slightly,
“I’d be honoured to joined in your celebrations, but you’ve been alive again only twelve hours, you can’t over exert yourself”
“I spent most of that time asleep, can I go home and rest there? You can trust Ginny will take good care of me” He looked at the nurse hoping she wouldn’t see the lies, or the probable black bags under his eyes. She who seemed like she thought Ginny would be the reason Harry would over exert himself.
“And Hermione and Ron will be there too, I’ll get plenty of rest, I’ll take any potions I need to I just want to go home”
“Ok” she smiled slightly, “You can go home” Harry grinned and sat up some more. “Thank you Madam Pomfrey, and the invitation for Christmas is still there for when I get organised, the order will be coming hopefully and the professors are invited and I nearly forgot Mrs Figg”
“Ok Harry I think Madam Pomfrey gets the idea lets go and get you packed” smiled Ginny as the woman smiled and left,
“Well could you let me go to the bathroom first?”He smiled moving his legs to the end of the bed,
“Yes but be quick, you have a lot of resting to do” she smiled as he kissed her forehead and made his way to the toilets.

They walked to the common room, there was odd behaviour going on. The paintings on the walls were bowing and nodding and thanking them, especially Harry. He just smiled and carried on walking not knowing how to reply and when they reached the fat lady, Violet was there as well and they were drinking and singing merrily.
“Harry Potter” she smiled and nodded her head. Her hair had come lose and there was a glass of wine in her hand “Cheers to the brave boy and his friends, the reign of darkness is over” she hiccupped and gulped down the glass. The door swung open and they were greeted by madness.
There was a loud cheer as they walked in Harry being dragged into the middle. He never let go of Ginny’s hand and pulled her with him. He wrapped her in hug watching everyone around them, they were singing, drinking, eating and dancing and looked like they had been doing for a while with out any point in stopping or sleeping. Luna was there Neville and Dean with Seamus and Lavender and all were clapping and laughing. After a while of being congratulated and praised Ginny gestured her head to Harry and they snuck upstairs to the boys dorms.
“I can’t wait to go home, I think we’d better pack now or I’ll fall asleep otherwise” Said Harry sitting on the end of his bed, Ginny beside him,
“You should sleep, let me pack, you need rest and I’m supposed to be looking after you not letting you party”
“I’m ok, just a bit tired, I think I can manage to pack Gin” He smiled but she pushed him back on to the bed so he was lying down, “Rest”
“No” he smirked and pulled her down next to him, he kissed her softly, pulling her in closer but she pulled away, “Your supposed to be resting”
He stuck out his bottom lip in a pout but she just laughed and sat up, “Behave Harry I can see your tired, I can see it in your eyes” she smiled and put her good arm on his shoulder forcing him back down as he tried to sit up “Sleep”
“You can’t pack, you don’t know what clothes I’ll want to take, and I can’t have you rummaging in my stuff, there might be things you won’t approve of”
“Like what?” she said suspiciously
“Nothing… just let me pack while you get your stuff” he added quickly,
“You shouldn’t have said that, now I have to know”
“Well im not telling” he grinned “So don’t try and find anything you won’t” he laughed watching her go to his trunk and try and open it, he had his wand in his hand and had locked it, she was still wandless hers having been left at the manor. She turned to face him angrily kicking the trunk when she couldn’t open it. “Meanie” she stuck her own lip out in a pout, he smiled and he stood up putting one arm around her waist and resting his head on her shoulder. He used his other hand to move her hair from her neck and cheek before kissing them softly. She giggled “ok not so mean”
“And will you go and sort your own stuff out and meet me in the common room when you’ve finished”
“Yes” she turned around to kiss him “And don’t say thankyou, all ready know” she placed a passionate kiss on his lips just as Ron, Neville and Seamus came in laughing. They stopped and turned to leave when Ginny turned to them holding Harry’s hand, “He’s all yours now, help him get ready to leave and make sure he sleeps”
“Gin” Harry laughed “I’m not helpless”
“I know that, but you were dead”
He sighed as she left and sat back down on his bed as the boys came in properly and began throwing stuff into there bags for the holidays.

All I have to say is that you're all crazy...especially Angie, Abi and yourself Lilly...but that's okay now we're all fit in together lol!!!! So now I'm not a Death Eater can I come?...though Angie may want me to go to her party in Azkaban!
p.s.: What my girl Angie wants to say is that we need more S-N-O-G-G-I-N-G please!!!! Remember we're from Greece, the country that celebrates love all year long....lol!!!!!

Chapter Forty – One
Harry threw the last of his stuff into his large, nearly full rucksack, and remembered his belongings at the Burrow that he would have to move to his new home and anything of his still at his room at the Dursley’s. He wanted to get Grimmald Place set up quickly since there wasn’t long left for him at Hogwarts and he wanted somewhere for him and Ginny when she finished school or when she wanted to live with him. He paused over a small black box in his hand placing it in a pocket of his robes instead of his bag; this was why he couldn’t have Ginny looking. He smiled slightly and sat down on his bed.
Only Ron remained and he could feel his eyes on him as he sat thinking over everything.
“Are you all right mate?”
“Huh...” Harry looked up “Yeh fine, just a bit, my heads full at the moment”
“Maybe you should sleep?”
“If I do it’s still there, if I’m awake its easier, if I sleep im trapped in it – I don’t want to close my eyes thinking I might not get up” He put his head in his hands leaning forward on his knees.
Ron sat down opposite him on his own bed. “You know if you don’t sleep it will get worse, Ginny needs you, and we need you, we all thought you had died”
“I know that, everyone keeps telling me I was dead as if I wouldn’t know, but right now im not”
“You will be this time next week if you don’t sleep and they’ll be no one to save you, no reason for you to be trapped and brought back to life since you don’t look like sleeping beauty to me or anyone else”
“Ron… where did you learn about sleeping beauty, that’s a muggle story”
“Erm… Hermione told me about the whole prince and princess things muggle girls are obsessed by”
“Don’t tell me… she said you’re her knight in shinning armour riding on a white horse to slay the dragon“ She did actually” Ron’s ears were crimson “But I said I was more of a troll slayer, the dragons were your thing, you do the more dangerous stuff”
“Yeh sure the great Harry Potter the only thing he’s scared of is sleeping”
“You have a reason to be -”
“- If you say ‘because you died’ I’ll have to punch you again”
“I wasn’t going to mate; can’t you just try and sleep?”
“What do you think I did last night? I had Gin asleep in my arms and I still couldn’t manage it for however many hours”
“You told Madam Pomfrey you slept?”
“I lied Ron” Harry stood up pacing back and forth “If Gin asks please don’t tell her, I’ll sort it out, I don’t want her to worry”
“You’re asking me to lie to her? Why don’t you just take a sleeping draught”
“No just not to hurt her and not to tell her, I’ll get one of Madam Pomfrey no doubt but I can’t take one Ron, I just can’t”
Ron walked to the door as Harry continued,
“Please Ron, don’t say anything, she doesn’t need to know about this I can deal with it”
“Whatever Harry” Ron walked out slamming the door behind him and Harry lay on his bed.
He closed his eyes thinking of Ginny but he couldn’t let go. As soon as he lost concentration and the darkness took hold he wrenched his eyes open relived to see the light again and sat up quickly.
He lay down again this time not closing his eyes and staring at the ceiling, he blinked and carried on laying there for what seemed like hours, rubbing his forehead and feeling the rise and fall of his chest with each breath as he tried to force himself to sleep. He was unsuccessful and after a few minutes he got up.
He walked over to the mirror seeing his reflection. He looked like crap and he wasn’t surprised.
The red eyes and black bags, the messy hair worse then before and cuts on his face from being hit, grabbed and forced to the ground by magic. He took off his shirt and trousers making his way to the bathroom in his boxers.
He took a long cold shower, keeping himself awake the heat would have made him sleep. His hands felt his chest a large bruise where Voldemort’s final spell had hit; it was tender and sore under his finger tips, then the large gash on his hand starting to heal. He rubbed shampoo into his hair to get rid of the dirt and washed his face, before putting on clean clothes. He felt ok, still exhausted but better then before and he only hoped Ginny would see his smile and not his exhaustion.
Making his way to the common room, he walked to the staircase pausing at the stop. He could here them talking. Harry was nervous, he trusted Ron but he was Ginny’s brother. Then another thought crept over him, Ron wouldn’t tell her, he didn’t want to hurt her or to make her worry even more, he wouldn’t have told on him.
He was fine - he had convinced himself of that - now to convince Ginny.
He got half way down the stairs when Ginny came bounding up. “I was just going to get you” she smiled “The feast starts in ten minutes”
“Oh ok”
“Yep, twelve O’clock”
“So it hasn’t been long” he thought to himself but the words came out instead, this was the sleep deprivation talking,
“You ok Harry?”
“Hmm…yeh…just thinking…ignore me” he smiled and took her hand “We don’t want to be late” She smiled back ignoring the warning bells going off in the back of her mind, she knew he would tell her eventually, when he was ready, whatever it was.
Ron and Hermione were waiting in the empty common room. Ron gave Harry a look that he ignored and Hermione smiled at them both,
“Are you ready to face the school Harry?”
“Are you ready as well” Harry smirked “As long as you three don’t leave my side, I am”
“We’re not going any where” Ginny tiptoed up and kissed his cheek.
Hermione took Ron’s hand and pulled him into a hug with Harry and Ginny, “We’ve been friends for so long, we’ve survived a magical war and each other, were going to be friends for a lot longer” Said Hermione grinning as they stepped away. “But Ron and I have to do a speech as head boy and girl so you can come up with us and be ogled if you like”
“No thanks” smiled Harry “We get enough ogling as it is”.

All eyes where on the foursome as they walked into the hall amongst the waiting crowd and Neville grinned as they sat next to him.
“Hey Neville”
“How’s it going Harry?” he smiled
“You know, the usual” Harry grinned
“The usual for you, you mean” Neville grabbed a plate of potatoes shovelling the mash onto his plate,
“Yeh the usual for me” Harry laughed “What ever that is” he took a mouthful of sausage,
“You’re a hero so are Ginny, Ron and Hermione, you stopped him and saved us all, that’s all in a day’s work for you guys”
“I guess so” Harry suddenly didn’t feel hungry anymore and swallowed the food in his mouth pushing the plate away. He got up quickly and Ginny asked him what was wrong, “Im just going for a walk, im not feeling too good”
He began to walk and all eyes followed him again, he could here there whispers there voices echoing in his head. He made it too the door and turned to look at Ginny, she was looking directly at him and just smiled nodding her head slightly. She understood, he loved her for that, she always understood. She didn’t follow him and he headed out side the fresh air blowing through his brain.
It was over, the war was over and now what was he going to do. He had Ginny, he had a home to set up for now but how long would that last. How could he ever be sure Voldemort wouldn’t come back… no he couldn’t there wasn’t any of his soul left, he was gone. He said he was going to live everyday to the fullest – doing what, he had no purpose in his life apart from loving her but that wasn’t going to satisfy the angst about what the future would hold.
He walked down to the lake sitting under the tree. The same tree under his father and the marauders sat, if they had been through what he had, if they had known what was coming in there future or the lack of it in his parents case, would they have bothered living at all or would they have just given up. They would have lived he was sure well slightly doubtful but somewhat certain… He got up and then remembered seeing Tonks. Lupin was happy; he a werewolf outcast had found someone who loved him for him. Harry had that in Ginny, what the hell he was wasting his time thinking about it for, he just had to let thing happen like they always would. He made his way back up to the castle when it finally dawned on him what was different about Tonks. She was pregnant.
He walked back to the great hall to see everyone going back up to there dorms. He could see Ginny, Ron and Hermione still inside the great hall talking. Most likely about what was wrong with him. He strolled in and they stopped talking seeing him approach – yep definatly about him.
“Feeling better Harry?”Said Ginny taking his hand,
“Yep, when does the train leave?”
“In an hour, gives us all time to grab the rest of our stuff and make our way to it” Said Hermione, her head leaning against Ron’s shoulder, “Are you going straight to Grimmald place or are you coming to the burrow, I’m going to see my parents and then Christmas -”
“Well your all coming to Grimmald Place for Christmas, parents included, so I’ll spend a day at the burrow to convince them I’m fine and then get started on the cleaning and organising”
“I’m helping you and Ron will to won’t you” said Ginny glancing at her brother who just nodded “Yeh, sure”
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to” Harry grinned “Give me some quality time with you sister if you like, then I can kiss her with out having you complaining”
Ron smiled “She’s all yours; I might go and help the twins out in the shop now I won’t have any entertainment and mum will be hovering over you two anyway”

They all sat talking in the carriage when Harry saw a familiar face go past, “Be right back” he smiled and opened the door leaving them wondering where he had gone.
“Hey” he shouted to see them turned to face him
“Oh Harry” said the boy
“Erm Colin I was just wondering if I could ask a favour from you?”
“Sure. What?” He replied grinning.
“Would you be able to take a photo of me and Gin and then send me a copy, it’s for her Christmas present, only it’s a surprise”
“Well do want me to come in a pretend I want a photo of you all, then I’ll send you a copy”
“Perfect mate”
“I’ll come back in a few minutes then, I’ll just get me camera” the boy smiled and walked away as Harry went back to the carriage. He was nearly there when he looked up and saw her standing there.
“What you doing?” she grinned putting her arms round his neck,
“Nothing” he replied putting his own round her waist,
“You must have done something?” she moved in closer,
“Nope” he smiled “Nothing at all”
“You can’t fool me Mr Potter” She laughed and he leant down and kissed her. A few seconds later as they were still in the embrace there was a click of a camera and a flash flicked on there closed eyes. Harry broke away to see Colin grinning, waving his camera and walking away, and Ginny looked at him confused.

Yey a post!!! It was great...but I'm kind of confused actually...now that everything is over, now Harry doesn't want to sleep? Why would he want to hurt himself? Anyway...I can't wait to see what his present to Ginny will be...PAMS!
