I might not be able to do this. Not this time around. I did it and finshed it but its been 5 days and its still not up or at least i dont see it anywhere. I'm off to work on mine - I solemnly swear that I am up to no good and I formally accept Evlpez's challenge. Having fun with Halloween costumes - didn't know what vegie tales were though until I googled them. But this one will be one of my better ones, IMHO.

Well, it's after November 7th, no matter which time zone you're residing in and Evlpez's dare is now past due. Where is everyone ?
I'm spending time writing (what I think is fairly good) stuff and nobody seems to be reading or commenting, and nobody else is participating by writing their own stories. It's very disheartening and I'm beginning to think not worth the effort.
Siggghhhhhhhh.

Unfortunately, activities like the EEFFD do experience ups and downs. We're on a 'down' just now. Keep in mind that the EEFFD is more than three years old and any one game is hard to keep alive that long. Perhaps it's time to say goodbye, archive the whole thing and move on. I'll have to think about this a while.

Well chickadee, there have been no new challenges and no new stories posted here for over a month. As the saying goes, when the horse you're flogging is dead, it's probably time to get off.
Thanks for having me in the EEFFD and for the feedback for the stories. I enjoyed it while it lasted, but the effort that goes into the challenges is too time consuming and disheartening when there are only a handful of people joining in and/or reading.
I bid you a fond farewell and best wishes for the future.

Things always get rough for everyone around November and December, regardless of site or forum -- the holidays tend to do that. I hope everyone will hang in there.
I, for one, have just discovered this game, and was all excited about playing up and being evil  until the last couple posts in this thread. I am sure I am not the only one who is new to the area.

I haven't been doing much Snitchseking lately, as the lack of participation in the EEFFD and the impasse I reached with certain people on the Book 7 theories thread just deflated me. I'll check in from time to time though I guess.

Personally, I've always been afraid of everything EEFFD. I've been an SS member for nearly two years [oh wow, I'm not new any longer] and I've never even tried to read the rules and regulations here. Not even once.
But, you know, I might just do it. In fact, I have done it. Inactive places make me shiver. =/ And, since Jan told us to forget the due dates, I think I'll accept a dare - I think. In the coming week, hopefully.
Someone needs to bring this place back to life. =(
