End-of-Term Feast Well. It's finally over. Try not to gnaw your arm off while you wait for the Headmaster's speech.

Default Slytherin Table

Hard terms lead to truly somber feasts and this term has likely been no exception. Following the war and the apprehension of many cult followers back in May, the school was allowed to remain open with the remainder of the school year already drawing ever closer. For those who stuck it out, this feast marks the final night in the castle and the beginning of what one can only hope will be a summer of healing. Those who still wished to were allowed to sit their exams on schedule but for those needing a little more time, the option remains for the summer at the Ministry of magic. Minor repairs have been handled thus far, the bulk to be taken care of once the students have left.

For those who belong in Slytherin House, on the right side of the Great Hall is where your table awaits. Green banners containing an embroidered silver snake float above the polished table in honour of the cunning Salazar Slytherin. Already placed on the tables are silver plates with accompanying cutlery and goblets. All that is missing right now are the mountains of food and pitchers containing your favourite beverages.

Though your stomach might be growling as you take a seat on one of the long benches next to the table, it is important to not get hangry -- gnawing your arm away or jabbing your fork repeatedly on the surface of the table will do no good whatsoever. Give everyone some time to get settled in and wait for Headmaster Trent to deliver his speech. Keep yourself preoccupied by catching up with your fellow housemates or those who are visiting from the other tables until it is time to sink your teeth into the hearty and delicious meal prepared by the house-elves.

~ Mrs Steve Harrington ~ Friendly Neighbourhood Hufflepuff ~

After making her stops at the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff Tables, Claudine made her way to her own House Table. Yet again she was reminded of persons whom she wished weren't graduating: Curtis and Aboli. ”Could they just freeze time for a moment?” she wondered, as she chose a spot to sit. Her mind wandered to the upcoming summer. Now that her living arrangements were sorted out, she was starting to look forward to the free few months. Well, they wouldn’t be fully free as she had opted to take her OWLs then.

Claudine proppred her elbows on the Table then rested her chin on the palms of her hands. Dark gaze stared up at the Staff Table. Poor Kitridge. The woman would be missed. Her snaps too.

Sighing softly, she couldn’t help but reflect how grateful she was to make it out alive. It gave her a new perspective of life.

It's over. It's finally over. This entire year was...eventful...to say the least. The sixth year walked over to her House table and just ran her fingers through her hair. If this was what her sixth year was like...what was her seventh year going to be like? But she didn't want to worry about that right at this moment. Right now, she just wanted to enjoy this feast, breathe a sigh of relief, chat with her fellow Slytherins and let this year just be over. FEAST TIME!

Bella had made a brief stop at the Gryffindor table only to realize that Apollo hadn't come in yet. She had wanted to sit with him. She knew it wasn't routine, but on this night of all night's couldn't they make an exception? The dark haired eleven year old was immensly glad that the Neo-Alliance had been defeated even if there had been some casualties. Bella was going to miss Professor Kitridge with her snaps and colourful dresses. Things could go back to normal at Hogwarts or as normal as a school that taught under-aged wizards could get.

When she stopped at the Slytherin table only two other snakettes we're there, as of yet. Plastering on a weak smile Bella greeted her fellow housemates. "Hi Claudine!, Hi Aibhilinn! Are you two ready for summer break?"

Hogwarts RPG Name:
Violet P. Blackthorne
Third Year

Ministry RPG Name:
Jane Elspeth Howard
Mysteries
Default Sitting across from Claudine

Violet had been surprised to find her grandfather and her Uncle Heraclitus down in the Great Hall when she had straggled downstairs after the battle, helping some of the injured students to where the healers were. She had been shocked at the amount of devastation done to the castle and by the number of wizards and witches there, many injured, some (she thought) dead. She had also been shocked and worried to find her Uncle Horatio had been hit by some sort of stunning spell which left him still unconscious, but she didn't have much time to find out what was wrong before the healers were taking him to St. Mungo's, accompanied by his brother.

And the biggest surprise of all was the appearance of her former governess, Jane Howard, whom she hadn't seen since her grandfather dismissed her last year after Violet's escapade. There had been a tearful reunion as Violet was caught up in a rare embrace, apologizing, venting, and...well, there was no nice way to put it, blubbering into Miss Howard's chest. Then Miss Howard had pulled her grandfather aside, talking to him for quite a while in a low voice (too low for Violet to hear, drat it!) And then, all too soon, Miss Howard had left.

Then there had been an...energetic...scene with her grandfather. Ignatius was determined to take Violet home with him, but she was just as determined to stay and finish her exams. She was not going to let those Alliance people disrupt her life and her education; if they managed to derail Hogwarts, then that meant they kind of won. And Violet wasn't giving up the school yet, she had suffered and fought too hard for it. And, miraculously, Violet had won--the first time ever she's won an argument with her grandfather (though admittedly he looked rather tired and more run down than usual--well, he was getting rather old, he probably shouldn't have been here in a battle, he might have gotten hurt.)

At any rate, Violet had sat her finals (rather successfully, she thought); she found concentrating on the work helped her forget the past months and especially the past few days. She'd been devastated to hear of Professor Kitridge's death--it hadn't seemed possible that any of their teachers would actually die protecting them. Violet had always hated Divination and secretly thought Professor Kitridge was rather silly, with her snaps and wild clothing choices. Now she felt guilty she hadn't been a better student in her classes, because obviously there had been a lot more to her teacher than Violet had ever realized. She made a mental vow never to judge people by their outsides ever again.

Violet didn't feel much like feasting, though she did look forward to another good meal--she had lost weight in the Room and she'd been trying to make up for it during finals. She dropped down on a bench across from Claudine and looked around at the few Slytherins (Aibhilinn, Bella) already at their table. "Hello, guys," she greeted them in a restrained voice. Somehow it didn't feel right to talk too loud in this room where so many hurt people had been lying just a short while ago.

Had Violet been eager to leave her home last fall and get to school? Had she ever thought things were too hard there at home? She was a fool! She hadn't known what hard was. Now she couldn't wait to get back to the Blackthorne family home, argue with her grandfather, hang around with her eccentric uncles (all three of them, she devoutly hoped) as they pursued their various hobbies, and write all about the past year in the brand, new journal Miss Howard had sent to her via her beloved magpie, Machiavelli, who apparently had not been killed after all. Home had never sounded so good.

A Poop * k8 *

It was with a heavy heart that Aboli approached her final feast here at Hogwarts. This term had not ended things the way she wanted; she had lost her badge, an insane cult had taken over, she had watched people be tortured and killed...she had met inferi...she had had the darkest thoughts she had ever had. She had had horrible dreams she knew she would relive in the coming months; she had performed hexes in the battle that she had never thought herself capable of.

Aboli felt like she hardly knew herself these days. It was getting better, though. Those first few nights after the big hoorah had left her numb. No talking to Noah, even....no talking to anything. She walked the castle grounds as if in a trance.

It was only on receiving a letter from her mentor, someone she hadn't heard from all year, that she felt alive again. She had studied, taken her NEWTs to get them over with, and was looking forward to the summer. University was out of the question for next term.....it was a let down, for sure, but she didn't see how she could mentally do it. The gap year she and Noah had talked about while being locked up in the room together was finally within reach, and she found she didn't mind Minjae tagging along if he wanted to. There were faces she was looking forward to seeing tonight, some she needed to say her goodbyes to. All of her fellow seventh years she felt akin to; she wouldn't feel like it was goodbye to them. She could still see them. But for whatever reason, the ones she was leaving here, it felt like forever.

One face she wouldn't see tonight, a face that had not been here in quite awhile, she felt a sinking in her depths as she glanced over at the Gryffindor table. She looked down at her hands, in simple black gloves, and felt saddened. She would have to send Bernie a letter, and that was that.

Her Noah was accounted for, and she glanced around for redhaired Noah, too. Mamie? Ivy? Lillith? Avalon? All of the other friends she had made...even Cece Summers weirdly enough.

As she approached her own table, the former forever!!!!! prefect gave a solemn nod at all present: Claudine, Aibhilinn, Bella, and Violet. And as much as Claudine might have wanted time to stop, Aboli was ready to leave this place forever. Trauma did that to someone, you know?

"Hey, guys." She said blankly, looking up at the empty space at the staff table. She would attempt to contact Professor K this summer in the depths of the dream state, but until then, it hurt, losing her.

Oh, how we drift away from our friends. And the ones back home play remember when

Fiona entered The Great Hall looking and feeling completely drained from what had occurred over the term. Heading for her house table, she sat down and blearily rubbed her eyes. The Snakette had decided to sit her OWLs so that she could spend the summer sorting things out with her family. Fiona was on the same page as her cousin, Lucille regarding Pureblood supremacy in the fact that she didn't like the mindsets of the Neo-Alliance but she didn't know exactly how her parents felt. Hopefully, she and her cousin would be able to persuade them to not think the way the Neo-Alliance did.

Fiona looked sadly at the vacant spot at the staff table that was formerly occupied by Professor Kitridge. She really enjoyed Divination class and she would miss the woman that had taught them. Her gaze returned to her fellow Slytherins that were sitting solemnly at the table and she gave them each a small nod in turn.

"Hi Violet!" Bella greeted kindly as the few years older snakette took a seat across from Claudine at the Snake table but still near Bella. They all sat with heavy hearts, hurts and the loss of a professor and others on their minds. What could she do to lighten the mood even if it was just a little? If only Peeves was here with his pranks. Alas for now Bella just had to make do with herself. "Have you got any plans for the summer Violet?"

"Hi Aboli!" Bella greeted quietly. Would it be all right if she stood up and gave Aboli a hug? She was going to miss the seventh year a lot. She'd leave a whole in the snake den, that was for sure. Indesicive, she remained seated for now. "I'm going to miss you next year Aboli, you were one of the snakes I looked up to this year and wanted to be like in my first Hogwarts year. You were really brave in the battle." To that group she also counted Claudine and Curtis too. As only a first year Bella hadn't been allowed to fight in the battle.

It wasn't hard to guess at what spot up there on the staff dias that Fiona was looking, at Professor Kitridge had been popular professor. As the older girl joined them at the table Bella greeted with a weak smile pursing her lips. "Hi Fiona. I guess you liked Professor Kitridge a lot?"

~ Mrs Steve Harrington ~ Friendly Neighbourhood Hufflepuff ~

Before long, her fellow Snakes were arriving. For a moment, Claudine continued to sit in silence. For some reason, when she was around her Housemates, she was terrified that they’d somehow find out that members of her family had been involved with the Neo Alliance group. True, anyone could find out but she was closer with the Slytherins over all and maybe if they ever found out, they'd distance themselves from her.

The fifth year watched as Aibhilinn sat and as Bella approached. “Hi, Bella. Hmmm… I’d say I’m about fifty percent ready? I’m not looking forward to all the studying I have to do for OWLs.’’ Still, taking the exams then was a far better option than taking them of recent. “Do you have any special plans?’’ Her eyes studied Violet. The third year was a talker but not today so Claudine tried not to push her too much. “Hi, Violet. Going to get a bit of sketching and writing done over the next few months?”

Aboli! Did you really have to go? The Snakette didn’t say that out aloud, naturally. “I hope I’ll hear from you at times.’’ Whatever it was Aboli had planned after Hogwarts, Claudine was interested. Spotting the dormmate, she gave Fiona a small smile.

Giving a little nod to everyone greeting her, Aibhi couldn't help but find herself speaking softly as well to others as they sat down. "Hey..." She exhaled out softly and looked around the room seeing more students from different houses come in and sit at their house tables. Bringing her attention back to those at the Slytherin table, she shifts a bit and lays her arms on the table. Her smile was weak, but boy was she trying to hide the pain and fear she had practically all year. To think of the lives that were lost (students and teachers), the many souls broken and shattered in this school...they have to bounce back from this somehow. Looking at Bella, Aibhi nodded her head to her question. "I feel like we all deserve a well-needed holiday. This summer break, I am just ready to travel and...have some fun. What about you guys? She turns her head to Aboli. "What about you, Aboli? You have anything special planned for this summer? I can't believe you're graduating this term. it went by...so fast."

She kept trying to make light of the situation from this current term and it was fairly obvious that it was going to be on everyone's minds for a while. She didn't even know how Hogwarts was going to be like next term. Hiding her pain, she sits up a bit and places her hands on the table, "I don't know about you guys, but I am sooooo hungry!" She said with a slight chuckle.

Violet looked at the fellow Slytherins (Bella, Claudine) who had asked her about her plans for the summer. Did she even have any? Why bother to make plans, when life could take such unexpected turns. This year she had planned to pay more attention to her appearance and maybe actually talk to a boy outside of class, and instead everything had been chaos. Still, she supposed time didn't stop and a person had to go on.

"Um, well I'm going home, I guess. Any plans depend on my grandfather." (and whether he would ever let her out of the house again.) My uncle was hurt in the battle and is in the hospital, so I don't think we'll be doing much until we know how he's doing. Actually, I don't really feel like doing much, after this year."

That's Rough Buddy | Be the Flower | Moon & Stars

This term killed her.

Not physically. Physically, Lilith was pretty much fine...if you excluded the way her ribs showed and the way her once rosy cheeks weren't as full as before. Physically, the girl seemed...fine. On the inside...oh, on the inside she was a complete mess.

Her dad had suggested to take her home. Were it was safe. Were it was clean, and where she could meet her new baby sister. Lilith turned him down. She wasn't mentally ready to meet babies. She wasn't even sure she'd feel anything. She had turned into an empty shell, going on about the day only because it was routine. There were times in the hallways she had to remind herself no neo-alliance groupie would jump out. Sometimes, she'd do the jumping where a loud noise sounded.

Yeah, yeah. She knew she'd need therapy. A lot of it. For now, she sat at the Slytherin table and glared towards the staff table. A bunch of cowards up there. They waited too much to save them, the kids. They allowed this trauma to build. Actually, if it wasn't for the Order and parents coming to the rescue, only Merlin knows what could've happened to them.

Her eyes stung when they landed on the noodle-man professor. He had seemed so kind...but was a bystander like all of them. Wiping her eyes by pretending to brush her lashes, Lilith remained quiet.

Her last day here. She couldn't wait for it to end.

I have an addiction to cheddar cheese. But it's only mild. Ever tried to eat a clock? It's time-consuming.

He'd only been alive again for a whole month since becoming reborn from the Headmaster's Office the night of the battle.

A Month wasn't enough time for him to come to complete terms with the concept that he wasn't actually dead. How many other's had convinced themselves that he, Minjae, Ashley, and Kale were dead? He was sure of it himself. That blank void time was not relevant in there after a while but it had been two months. He was freed in May. Was he two months younger than? He was thinking too hard on all these things. Today was his Birthday, Two months younger or not he was Thirteen.

The Feast was quiet. There weren't many others here. Parents who came to take back the castle had taken some of their own home with them.

It wasn't even a day after the battle that a few unknown owls to him dropped off a few letters. From his parents! They were backdated, and they were super worried. They had asked him if his Owl was okay. The next letter was a bit more. Worry over him, if he was alright and that he should reach out to them as soon as he was able too. That was it. There were no more letters after those earlier months. There was a third letter though. It wasn't very long. It was from some guy named Zachael. He ran the Owl Post. From where his parents first two letters came from. It was just reassurance that his parents were made aware of the state of the Wizarding World and that they were laying low and keeping quiet.

He looked to the Hufflepuff table where Mamie, Claudine, and Minjae were embracing in a big hug. No thanks. There was a hint of saddness that Minjae was not going to back. The Hufflepuff had become something of a big brother to him. It even turned out that Minjae had carried him to the Spare Office. He survived in no small part thanks to him.

Then over to the Gryffindor Table. Kinsay and Emmerson were there. And Aries...no Atlas. Uh...wait no Atlas yeah. Aries would be closer toward Kinsay. They all seemed wrapped up in their own consoling of each other too. He also survived that night because Kinsay never let go. Even in that brief moment that Moose wanted her too. He rubbed his hand gently.

Then he looked down at the Slytherin Table and into one of the empty plates currently in front of him. He looked at his reflection in one of the plates and ran a finger over his forehead. a faint scare rested across it. He was lucky. For whatever reason the gash on his forehead during Potions Class never got any worse while he was dead. Once his injury was finally tended to it healed with no issue.

This had to be a good feast. He would be so angry if something happened right at the end. Just let today go by and he could go home to his Family.

Tadhg didn't know if it been cause he been in the room for almost the whole term or what it was, but he seemed to get his days and his weeks messed up, it was really hard to tell at times. If he wasn't already a empty shell due to his time in that small room, the war definitely did a number on him that was for sure. He was surprised that they made it and took down the Neo Alliance in the spare office, something that will be fresh in his mind forever. The sound of the Neo Alliance and spells and screams ringing in his ears, something that he had nightmares about.

While the little snake had the option of going home where he knew it was safe, he decided to stay the remaining of the term and finish it off, he was always taught a O'Neill alwaya finish what they started. Not to mention the moment he found out his best friend Dahila was staying there was no doubt he decided to stay, there was no way he was leaving her. Okay.... so she had her siblings but he couldn't bare not having her by his side whenever he can. Although he knew that she wanted him to go home, but he refused saying that they were in this together.

Walking into the Great Hall he headed towards the snake table waving at a few of his fellow smakes and snakes, mainly at Bella and Aboli. He decided to make Ash and them a visit later on and see how she was, she was a good friend of his. Sitting down not to far from Bella and them he sighed to himself, this whole year been crazy and chaotic he was glad it was over. He definitely needed all summer to get over everything and then some.

50% ready? Bella turned her gaze to Claudine as the elder girl explained what she meant. Making big eyes she feigned knitting her thumbs as a thumb cross. "Oh wow, good look with the OWLs Claudine. I didn't think you'd have to sit them during the summer break, after the year we’ve been through." She didn’t have to say because of the Neo-Alliance, but it was understood. Shrugging she said "I don’t know. I guess I’ll have to study some too, and maybe visit my grandparents. Really I just want a quiet summer, you know?" Her first school year hadn’t exactly been like she had envisioned and she had had enough of suspense and looking over her shoulder, being scared that a hooded guy would jump out and attack her for doing something not considered to be in line with the Neo-Alliance’s view of things.

Travel? That must be one perk of getting older. Bella couldn’t see her mum letting her travel the world how she liked before she had graduated Hogwarts in 7 years and maybe not even then. Nodding she agreed with a small smile. "Yes I totally agree with you Aibhilinn. We all deserve a long break. Where will you travel?" she wondered curiously. "I'm going to spend some time with my grandparents at their new magical farm. It will be fun to get to take care of some creatures and maybe try out for U-17 quidditch if it has started up again." Feeling her own stomach grumble loudly, Bella flashed a glance up at the staff table before looking back at her housemates again. "I’m hungry too. I wish Headmaster Trent would come and deliver the feast speech already." So that they all could eat and feast on the delicious food the house elves, no doubt had prepared for them all.

Turning to look at Violet she really felt for the other girl. Having had only few news from home the last few days she didn’t know if anyone in her family or extended family had participated in the war or not. Bella didn’t sit so she could reach out and give Violet’s hand a sympathetic squeeze and she didn’t know if the other girl would be okay with it if she did it either. So Bella just smiled sympathetically. "I hope your uncle will get better soon." Quieting down, she heard Claudine mention that Violet drew. "Maybe you can buy some new drawing utensils from Flourish & Blotts for your drawing? Do you draw creatures?" Bella liked drawing, but she was not very good at it and thus got a little jealous when her peers could draw like experts.

Her eyes stung when they landed on the noodle-man professor. He had seemed so kind...but was a bystander like all of them. Wiping her eyes by pretending to brush her lashes, Lilith remained quiet.

Her last day here. She couldn't wait for it to end.

This had to be a good feast. He would be so angry if something happened right at the end. Just let today go by and he could go home to his Family.

"Hi Lillith," Bella greeted the other girl kindly as she noticed her presence at the table. Had the other girl been crying? She didn’t know Lillith well enough to feel comfortable with asking, but you didn’t get red and slightly puffy eyes from just entering the great hall for the feast. "Hi Moose," Bella instead said with a nod at the boy that had silently joined the snake table too. Could Peeves come and liven up the mood please? This was just a too quiet and weird feast so far.

Finally! Was Bella's reaction at the sight of Tadgh heading over in the snaketables direction. She liked talking with older housemates, but she wanted Tadgh and the other's to get there too. Returning his wave with one of his own she greeted with a little more excitement to her voice than she felt to be honest. "Hi Tadgh! Are you excited to go home tomorrow? What's the first thing you'll do when you get off the train?" She knew what her's was. She was going to give her mother and father each a giant hug.

Shrugging her shoulders, she thinks for a moment before responding to Bella. There were a lot of places that she would want to visit, but maybe hanging out with her grandparents in Greece would be fun for a little but, or she can go visit her uncle in America...but at this point... "Maybe go see my grandparents in Greece, my uncle in America...quite honestly anywhere at this point. By this point tomorrow, we'll all be on a train going back home to our families feeling that comfort we've missed out on all year." As she listens to Bella she nods and smiles softly to her. "I think that sounds wonderful. I hope everything goes well for you if you try out for Quidditch when it starts up again."

Looking back over at the staff table and by where Headmaster Trent would be standing to give the end-of-the-term Feast speech and looks back at Bella. "Yeah, I wonder if Trent is even going to make a speech..." At this point, all she wanted was to just eat and try to keep whoever in good spirits before they leave school for the summer.

Violet made a wry face at Claudine's mention of drawing--she remembered showing the other girl a sample of her art that time in the Butterfly Garden (a time that seemed decades ago). Claudine must surely be teasing her, because Violet's drawing was terrible. But then, she remembered Claudine encouraging her in trying, so maybe she was actually serious. Maybe Violet would actually do some.

"Maybe you can buy some new drawing utensils from Flourish & Blotts for your drawing? Do you draw creatures?"
Violet was surprised when Bella stopped to talk to her--she hadn't really talked much with Bella, and here she was being so nice about Uncle Horatio. And then...ugh, she'd picked up on the drawing thing. Violet cast a glance over at Claudine, raising an eyebrow at her, before responding to Bella. "I don't really draw, I think Claudine was just teasing me...or maybe she is an eternal optimist and thinks I might get better at it eventually." Violet chuckled a bit, to show she was joking and not offended. "What I really do is write--when I have my journal with me. I burned my old one at the beginning of term because I didn't know who might get hold of it, but my...friend just sent me a new one." Yes, not governess, but friend--that made Violet feel rather grown-up.

Suddenly an idea occurred to her. "You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to write about this year, about everything that happened here. And when I'm through, I'm going to send it to the Daily Prophet. And if they won't publish it, I'll send it somewhere else. Because everyone should know the truth about what we went through here." Violet suddenly felt much better, as a Slytherin with a mission is likely to do.

Sitting down not to far from Bella and them he sighed to himself, this whole year been crazy and chaotic he was glad it was over. He definitely needed all summer to get over everything and then some.
On her way to her own table now, Lia decided to make one more stop. A very important one. This time she went straight for the table of green and silver seeking out of head of of floofy light brown hair and dazzling sapphire eyes. As she did with Minjae over at the Hufflepuff table she quietly stopped behind Tadhg, silently taking in how sad he looked just sitting there.

It was all her fault that he was still here. While she hadn't asked him to stick out the remainder of the term with her, she knew deep down that he had done it for her. That's how things always had been between them. It was like with Elias and Lily. No questions asked. Only this was bad, he should've been home with his family, not here... yet he was. She owed him.

Dahlia reached out a small hand and a tiny tug on the sleeve of his robes, enough to make him hopefully turn around. And when he did, she slid her arms around him, hugging him tightly, pressing her face against his shoulder. Hopefully this hug was able to say everything her words hadn't been able to say recently.

Claudine could agree with the girl with the weird name, Aibhilinn: she too was super hungry. It was only in the last few days that Claudine’s appetite had started to return. It wasn’t at its full capacity as yet but she wasn’t rushing the process. “I suppose the exams are too important,’’ the fifth year told Bella. “They do determine what subjects are to be taken during sixth and seventh years…” There came a firm nod of agreement. “I know. We’ve had enough excitement to last a lifetime.”

She was sympathetic towards Violet. “I’m sorry about your Uncle.’’ A sudden wave of guilt washed over her. Why? Because it could have been one of the Blazes who injured Violet’s uncle. “Doing nothing is fine. I don’t plan on doing much either, so you’re not alone.” Then she was chuckling. “Quite right, Bella. I gave Vi some drawing tips sometime back, always hoping to entice her to focus on that more."

Looking over at the quiet new arrival, she mouthed, “Hi, Lilith.” Lilith was one of those rare persons whom she had warmed up very quickly to. Sometime after there was the appearance of a strange woman. Claudine stared. And she continued staring throughout the woman’s… speech. Assigned? She was assigned to do what? Instant distrust welled up in the Slytherin.

What?

She’ll
be there next term? So Trent wasn’t going to be back or…? Because it sounded like she had given a traditional Head of the School speech in terms of the House Cup winner. Um…???

Violet was a bit baffled by the woman's speech--what was wrong with Headmaster Trent? Was he coming back? Was this new woman the acting headmaster, or what? After the events of the past year, Violet couldn't help being suspicious of new people just showing up.

But then there was the food, and Violet was distracted by her thoughts by the very lovely feast before them.

Hearing a woman's voice speak out, Aibhi brings her attention ...That's not Trent...who the bloody...? She continued to listen. Who was this strange woman? Why was she speaking and not Trent? Oh just let this year be over and done with already. Before she can get another thought out, there it was. With a clap of Healer Poppy's hands, there was food on the tables. Finally. If she heard her stomach growl and grumble any louder you would think she was hiding an animal under the table. Aibhi didn't waste any time and started to grab some food and begin to feast. Who knows what next term is going to bring....
