Default The Glass Bottom

Just beyond the where the work space has been set out is a fun area of the Elizabeta. To allow his employee's to have some down time Ashby had created an area which is often only found on tourist boats. Those who had been on one of these muggle boats may be seen a glass bottom boat before. It is generally a normal boat, just the bottom is made of glass so that the people on the boat are able to see out underneath the boat, and look at all of the pretty sea life.

Now one might think that there is not a lot of sea life to see underneath the Thames. But fear not. The area underneath the ship has been charmed, so that many beautiful and colourful sea life that is normally seen in tropical waters and now present in the Thames, and available for your viewing.

So when you need a little rest or down time, just come to this area and enjoy the scenery.

After making sure that his employees were all okay with their new working areas Ashby moved to the glass bottom area of the boat. He found this area rather interesting, relaxing too. He wanted to do a bit of brain storming. It was evident that they needed to get into the ministry as soon as possible. So Ashby was going to think of a couple of ways to try and start to get back in.

"Hmm..." He murmured, jotting a couple of things right. The toilets hadn't been working. He'd gotten his feet wet trying that. But maybe the other things were working now. The floos. They could try that right? Maybe he should owl head of transportation. That was his area of work correct? Hmm. He'd owl him in a little while.

The new work area was not okay. It was unsanitary. So many geeeerms. Plus the rock of the ship was messing up potion calculations. Rubbing her temples, she suddenly half backed out of the room and half hesitating to walk any further after noticing the company she was walking into. Doing.......what, exactly?

"Not thinking too hard, are you?" she interrupted the silence, arms crossing as she leaned against the wall opening up into the unusual area. Almost reminded her of the slytherin common room back at Hogwarts.

Jasper let out a small gasp. He had been looking down at the profile of a Bolivian Quidditch player who claimed to have turned seer when he was conked by a bludger when he spotted the tiny silvery body moving beneath his feet. Jasper had been waiting for this to happen. Everytime he'd passed over the glass bottom portion of the ship he'd never seen anything but dirt and maybe some plant life. "Oh, hello there, fishies!"

The prophecy collator was looking down as he spoke and it looked sort of like he was having a conversation with his very own belt buckle. Merlin. How embarrassing.

"OOoh! Look at how many of you there are!" He cold stopped his work to bend over and peer into the river beneath. "Well then you must all be family."

Oh. Family.

Jasper just bummed himself out right therrr.

Allison was walking down the stairs to glass bottom and saw Jasper she brightened up a bit and skippped down the steps two ata time. "BOO!" she yelled as she jumped almost on top of him. She noticed he looked a little bummed out and she knew, all her sister did was sulk but she didn''t like to dwell on her. "Every thing okay?" She hated sad people, it made her feel bad. "I got bored so I came down here the deck was... hazerdous." She sat down and looked and him pointedly.

Jolted out of his melancholy thoughts, Jasper felt the tiny gust caused by Allison's jumping toward-nearly ON-him. "Oh, hello again, Allison." His bummed out thoughts were being replaced by reflection on the new people the department had recently welcomed. Allison among them. Allison, whose hits and near-hits with physical contact meant that her subconscious was trying to tell her something. Jasper was a spiritualist, of sorts, having been raised in an environment of soothe sayers and astrologists believed such things.

"H'mm? Oh, yes. Everything is alright." He said answering her question in a manner he thought polite even if not entirely truthful, but who wants to hear a complete stranger's emotional out-pourings? "How about with you? Getting over your sea-sickness?"
