He'd just stepped out of the lifts after having been on level 4 in environment and then gone to get something from the food court and had his coffee in hand. Walking towards his office, he spotted two people standing outside his office, "Hello. What can I do for you?" he asked stepping between them briefly and opening the door, "Come on in." he added gesturing for them to go ahead and enter as he stepped back.

What a nightmare it seemed to be already. Hopefully they didn't mind the mixture of snow and rain falling inside his office. Environment people hopefully would have it figured out soon! For right then, best he could do was hope it wasn't damaging anything with the charms he had in place!

It was probably Simon's job to lead the way, although Genevieve had her own thoughts on what information was most important to share with the IMC Department Head. She flashed the man a brief polite smile while she waited for Simon to take the lead, and then she followed him into the office.

It was snowing in there. Among other things, although the snow was what caught her attention. Genevieve reached out a hand and caught a few flakes on her palm before turning to show them to Simon. Like he didn't know it was snowing.

"Sir... we're from Magical Law Enforcement. I'm Genevieve Branxton, and my associate is Simon Bennett." Much as she wanted to identify herself as an Auror, it wasn't strictly true. "We're assisting in the manhunt for Amarantha de Talone."

Needless to say, as a man approached them, the thought of what to do next was thrown out of the picture. Clearly he was the person they were looking to speak to as he slipped between them and opened to door to the office behind them. Following the man...Gidyun Yenorin... inside, Simon lead Branxton into the snow covered office, his movement tentative as he noticed the weather conditions plaguing the room. He glanced at what his fellow coworker was showing him, nodding in understanding.

Someone clearly had a problem with environmental.

He let Genevieve introduce them once they stood before the department head. Simple enough of a task including the brief explaination as to their presence outside their own department. "And we believe we may have narrowed down her escape location," Simon added, slipping the list from his pocket and holding it out for the older man to take. "Pamphlets from these boarding schools were found formerly in her possession."

Stepping into the office with them, he ignored the snow now landing on his head, and turned towards the two. Nodding, as Genevieve introduced them, he gave a faint smile "A pleasure. I'm Gidyun Yenorin" He wanted to sigh at the words, about Talone, but didn't, he'd been there at the trial and the outcome had been quite a shock to everyone. When the man spoke, he took the list from him as he passed it his way.

Looking over the list he nodded, "Is there anything I can do?" Or in other words what did they need him to do, contact them? Go there? He hadn't thought he'd be of much help but if he could he'd give a hand!

Simon inclined his head at Yenorin's mention of it being a pleasure. "If only under better circumstances." It was when trouble struck and people were met in the process that it wasn't the happiest of meetings. But oh well, it couldn't be helped in this case. He hadn't met the man during on of the orientation gatherings or anywhere else before than so this would be their first.

At the question on what the man was to do, the auror stepped up with an answer. He was technically to be the one leading the MLE continguent. "I figure the countries of those schools should be warned...made sure they have received the bolos put out for DeTalone and widely circulating them. All the more increasing the possibilities of her being noticed before anything happens." AKA another school student falling an unwilling victim to her actions.

"Unfortunately, we only have two examples of her infiltration, and both varied widely from each other. It's difficult to tell anyone exactly what to look for initially, but I think that it's safe to say that de Talone likes to pass as a student or young adult when she can. The fact that she was researching schools suggests that she's looking for another place to lay low while she regroups and recharges." Genevieve studied the snow melting on her palm as she talked, obviously as interested in how that worked as she was in the conversation.

"She was agitated about aging while in custody, so I think she'll start stealing years again as soon as possible. We want small, private schools that are geographically isolated in those countries to be aware of the signs Hogwarts saw: the students freezing and losing time. They should also be looking for the enrollment of a young woman with red hair, who has no obvious guardian."

She glanced up then and flushed a bit at all the... talking she was doing. That was for Simon to do, right? "Sorry. We can make a list? But essentially, I think we want assistance reaching out to the Ministries in those countries to warn them that an international fugitive may be attacking their children."

Merlin did he ever agree with that! It always seemed to bring people together when things were happening. That's when he tended to meet other employees in the ministry at least! Nodding when the man said about the countries of the schools being made aware, "I can absolutely make sure that they are made known aware, and that the staff in those schools are aware of the situation and to keep a look out for anyone who might closely resemble Talone." What about if she chose to transfigure herself? That'd make it even more difficult to catch her, if she chose to change her appearance!

His attention was drawn to Genevieve when she started speaking again and nodded, "I even worry she might even do something to drastically change her appearance." he said quietly "Meaning that the information we pass on to the other ministries isn't even accurate at all. Perhaps they should place revealing charms around the schools in random places to ensure no one gets in under disguise."

"I'm on it." he said moving to his desk and grabbing a notepad and scribbling down the info she was passing on. ""I'll make sure that both of those countries are aware as well as neighboring countries."

Yeah, yeah. Enviro. was here. Roxanne Carter herself, as she had just let Alex take her break. Anyway, she was curious about the cause of this loss of climate control, as she had been informed that this was the second charm in the building to go bust, after the one in the food court. Now that one she would've loved to have seen.

She reached Yenorin's office door and knocked before swooping down to remove her boots. Wouldn't want to embarrass herself by slipping and these tended to get slippery when wet. "Climate Control!"

Incredibly busy day already! "Come in." he said as he looked over to the open door, but giving an apologetic look to the other two. But thank merlin environmental was here! No more snow or rain would help a lot in his office!

Simon listened as Genevieve expands upon his initial words, nodding to show agreement and support to what she was saying. He was letting her have some leeway to both see what she thought and get her to maybe learn something if it was there to learn. Turns out she had some interesting insight...even if he was mentally double checking it to make sure she didn't miss anything.

When the older man mentioned appearances changing, the auror returned his full focus on the department head. "Another kink in the plan to keep everyone up to date," he remarked, agreeing to his sentiment. "And any precautions that could be made such as revealing charms would likely be beneficial. All in all, there's just the matter of being alert for any irregularities. Either of her or her antics. " Changing spots was one thing but she did have her ways about her. "Also her lawyer who may or may not be with her."

There was a knock and it appeared as if the conversation was done. Especially when the knocker spoke and SImon reconized the voice as well as the purpose. "I guess we shall leave you to the task and that of fixing your office," he said closing up the MLE contribution. "However before I leave, I wanted you to be aware that I would be looking over the department for security concerns. Making sure nothing is amiss given recent happenings."

Which recent happenings were up to the chooser.

One job was done but he at least still had another.

Okay, the hasty retreat really wasn't necessary. She had still been MLE when De Talone had escaped and had helped with the investigation before the trial. So, yeah. If it was Emily who was determined to keep her out of the loop she might just have to throttle the girl woman.

Anyway, Roxanne kept all this to herself as she straightened up from removing her shoes and gave Simon and Genevieve a polite nod. "This is the second charm that's failed in the building," she commented to the seemingly excited DH. Hopefully, this wasn't about to become a trend.

She entered the office and focused her energy on making the control charm visible. Once it was, she began looking it over.

Upon making the charm visible, you find that a part of it seems to be........ missing? Like something very small chewed it's way through.

What could possibly do that?

What on....?

Okay, please don't tell her that there were BUGS in the Ministry. Because from the size of the missing piece of the charm, that's exactly what was going on. But hold on...... "Do you know of any bugs that eat magic? Say, about the size of a termite?" Living mostly in the muggle world, Roxanne had never experienced anything like that. Hell, she'd never even had any contact with termites! But if that was the case, it took a bit of pressure off her department.

Then again, all the charms in the Ministry would have to be redone......

Nodding he agreed, "Good, I agree. If we want to catch her we need to consider what she might do to hide her identity. I'll make sure to mention that as well." Hmm, lovely, the lawyer part as well. "Hopefully this won't go on much longer and this will be taken care of soon."

When they made to leave, he nodded, "Feel free, there's been some items going missing, but other than that, nothing major." Thankfully, already the missing items was causing a stir!

"The second one?" he asked in surprise. Okay that wasn't good, some areas in the ministry, being damaged by snow and rain, definitely wasn't a good thing! Staring at the control charm he moved closer. "Bugs....like fleas..." wasn't that...erm...."Chi... something, I never was good in the creatures bit, but I thought I heard something about creatures that are sort of....

Okay maybe he was just droning on about nonsense. He was going to stop talking now. "I think there is, but can't remember the name of them. Maybe Harmony might know?"

Right, Harmony. "I'll ask her when a get back to level four then. But flea-like? That makes me itchy just thinking about it." Truly gross. And Roxanne had a sneaking suspicion that she knew where said bugs had come from too. But she wasn't going to say it out loud.

Anyway, on to why she was really here. "I know a spell that can help this, but it's only a temporary fix. All the affected charms will have to be completely redone over the holidays." With that said, she pointed her wand at the hole. "Aeneas Summanus."

With the witch's spell, the hole in the charm sealed itself back up. If you're lucky, it should hold until the holidays.

"Yeah I know" he said nodding and pulling a face. Shaking his head "I'm not positive but I'm sure I read something on them at some point." Gazing around his office he chewed on his lip "Could they do damage to this extent though...Well during the holidays we'll have plenty of time to get this all fixed I'm sure. Hopefully no more will happen between now and then."

"That sounds very good." Charles corrected him. He used his wand to right all the furniture as he had in the lobby and gathered all the paper into one pile and all the wood into another again. "I was thinking that you could have a long desk in here, curtains over the two windows there, lights in the ceiling, but not usual lights. It'll add to the room." He paused for a moment, looking at the office. "A padded area just behind your desk so you can pin things to it as memos, shelves on either side. A sofa there, two chairs either side and a table between them." Mhmmm, this sounded good! "And a few finishing touches here and there. I can help you order them if you'd like."

Since when was Charles into interior design? He put the note he had gotten from Charles and stuck it to the wall for right then so they wouldn't lose it. He gazed around picturing what Charles was saying. "I like the idea of desk there and the padded area. I do want to do as much natural light as possible, but the lights in the ceiling would be good too." Well as natural as you could get being under the ground with windows that were controlled by the environment department. Turning around a bit he looked around more "I agree about the chairs and sofa, I'd like to make sure that's there as well again. I'd appreciate the help with ordering. There's going to be a lot we need to replace."

Of course he did. Charles was amazing at what he enjoyed! He excelled in almost every aspect of his life. "The light that environment gives us won't be enough to light the room, but if we put small overhead lights throughout the room and put lights just inside two boxed areas over the desk and seating area, it will light the room nicely." Charles bowed his head in acknowledgement. "May I suggest ideas for the rest of the department in detail with you too?"

Seriously, where was Charles? This definitely wasn't the person he'd expected to be having this conversation with him! "That's true..." he said frowning, "Not unless we turn the environmental controls all the way up but then we risk either blowing something or turning everybody to a crisp with the heat." Yeah he didn't like the idea of either of those. "Absolutely any ideas would be great, not too many of offered ideas for the other areas of our department."

Easy enough! "We can get this department looking good. Maybe visitors from different countries might even be impressed." He hoped so! "I have ideas for every room. Some plants here and there might be good too. They're good for the environment and for us. It'll help." Yep! Yep! He marked down the last strange thing from his side of the room and then pinned that up on the wall too.

"That would be good. Encourage people to work with our ministry more." he said nodding in agreement, and sorted what looked to be the filing cabinet he had that he was going to need to redo and update all the employee files in. Merlin, including the ones on leave. How in merlin's name was he going to be able to update files on people he hadn't even met yet!?! "I agree, plants would be good." he said nodding "Anything you have in mind will help with the orders."

"I can do the ordering for you if you need me to." Then he'd get his way! MUAHA. "I can keep the cost to a minimum without compromising quality." It looked like Gidyun had a whole department to fix anyway.

"I'll...uh no I think we can get those orders out together." He didn't want to risk Charles going and ordering something like a pink flowery desk and curtains to match. "Though keeping cost down and not compromising quality is definitely what I'd be looking for." Then he could start getting those files back up to date. He wondered if the main filing cabinet for the ministry was in better condition...
