The sheepish expression came over Sabel again, and he scrubbed the back of his neck. "Thanks...and sorry." He should probably tell him, shouldn't he? Rather than act like a crazy person and request that someone be okay with having a dragon around their leg.

"I....a friend taught me the spell," he gave a vauge motion of his hand to where the hissing and spitting was coming from. "I thought to try it on a marble. My....er...daughter's marble she gave to me for good luck."

Lesson learned. Practice dragon transfiguration lessons in a small, enclosed space. Not while bored on patrol.

He paused in the scrubbing of his neck and considered Simon, his shy smile turning into what was more of an amused smirk. "Department of Magical Creatures?" Of course, most definitely not, but he couldn't help it.

Alex paced, waiting on Jazz to show. It had been months since he had last talked to her. He didn't mean to have disappear quickly and without warning. He had gotten an owl from his adopted sister in India and had to go and deal with the emergency. He hoped that she wouldn't be too mad and that she had received his owl. He wondered if she still liked him or if helping his sister made what they had if they even had anything... disappear. He kept pacing and ruffling his hair, hoping if she is coming that she comes fast.

Jasmine just got off work for a little break and began to walk around. She got a mysterious note from someone saying to meet them here at the stone alcove. She recognized the handwriting before and couldn't place it. She began to walk and saw a familiar face. No it couldn't be! Jazz stood there gobsmacked and stomped her foot.

"ALEX!!?!?!" she called out and covered her mouth and thought it was too loud. She was just happy to see him. Jazz ran over to him and hugged him.

Alex turned as he heard her call out his name. Relief flooded over him and he picked her up as soon as she hugged him. He spun her around and kissed her. "Jazz!" he held her close and buried his head in her shoulder. Alex stayed like that for a few moments, just happy to be in her arms. He unburied his head and looked at her again. He lightly kissed her and stroked her cheek, "I'm so sorry for disappearing on you... I got an emergency call and had to bolt without any warning... please forgive me..." He held her close and looked into her eyes. "I have missed you so much..."

Jazz laughed with glee and was being spun around. This is only the thing done in the romantic movies. She laughed and then she felt a kiss on her lips. It shocked her and she didn't kiss back because she was stunned. She couldn't even speak his name because she was still in shock. She just had her first kiss in a while! "Ermm Alex!" was all she could muster.

She felt him kiss her tenderly and she loved it. It made her heart well up. She gasped from the contact and began to speak words. "No no it is fine, this was so worth seeing you. That was my first kiss actually.." she played with her hair and looked down and blushed. "I forgive you Alex and I missed you too. You don't know how much." she said and couldn't believe he was here.
"So tell me about your travels!" she said kissing his cheek.

Alex beamed at her laughter, loving the sound. Jazz looked so amazing today... though she always looked beautiful in his eyes. He waited patiently for her to say something else and smiled at the small 'ermm alex!' Alex smiled at the small gasp. He smiled, "Glad you think it is worth it." He chuckled at the first kiss thing. "Really? Is it bad to say that im a little please at that because the thought of you with a guy makes my heart hurt." He smiled and stroked her hair, "Though you deserve to be kissed and spoiled so I thought a guy would have snatched you up." He teased her and winked, smiling at her "I am glad that you forgive me and I missed you so much as well." He swayed with her in his arms. "I am so sorry for leaving and not telling you... and then not contacting you while I was away." He smiled slightly, "Just went to India... my sister needed me... thats all I did..." Alex looked at her, "God... you're gorgeous..." His smile was a little sappy, "Anything new with you?"

Jasmine blushed and looked down at her feet. She felt nervous admitting he was her first kiss. She looked up and felt a little relieved and said, "I am glad you are pleased. I mean I went on a few dates but I never kissed them. I was scared to make the first move and I never knew if they liked me or if they just liked my friends..." she shrugged. She always felt used around her friends back home. Jasmine smiled widely and felt him swaying with her. He gave her the butterflies even after his absence.

"You still give me the butterflies you know that?" she admitted. Was it a chessy thing to say? Ah well she said it anyways. "Don't apologize I am glad you are here now.." she beamed and kissed him back. She blushed at his comment and he was busy with his sister? Well that is a valid excuse she let it slide. Anything new with her? She shook her head. "Nothing really just have been working a lot and chilling and meeting new people. No new guys though." she added in with a wink. "Well actually there was one but he wasn't interested in me.." she shrugged and smiled slyly.

He smiled at her blush, "Youre so cute with that blush." Alex chuckled, "Any guy who weren't interested in you or was just using you was blind to see how amazing you are." Honesty showed in his eyes at that. He smiled at her smile and kept swaying a little. He didn't want to let go just yet but knew that he probably had to soon...

He smiled and tried to hide his blush by glancing away, "Im glad to hear that... you still make me nervous, ya know?" Alex looked down at her. He nodded, "Ok... no apologizing..." He started to pull away and put his hands in his back pockets. Alex rocked back and forth on his heels, watching her. He nodded, "That sounds fun, Jazz." He chuckled and looked at her. He turned a little red at the wink and just smiled at her. "He must be crazy not to be interested in an intelligent, beautiful and classy lady suck like yourself."

Jasmine blushed even more when he commented on it. "Stopppp ittt.." she whined and tried to hid herself in her face. Jasmine heard his comment and she finally met a guy who just said the perfect words. She stood there wide eyed and smiled widely. "Thank you for that Alex.." she truly meant that. She loved dancing with him even though they may look like fools but she didn't care. She gaped at him and she couldn't believe she made him nervous. "What noooo I don't make you nervous. I am just a klutzy mess.." she laughed nervously.

Now after they broke away from dancing, she saw his body language and thought he was gonna say something bad. Her heart was racing and she heard his compliments. Even more compliments and she blushed. "Well for one the guy was married.." she added in with a smug grin. "So he would be cheating on his wife if he liked him." she winked adding a little humor.

He chuckled at her small whine, "Awww, Jazz... please don't bury your face... you are too pretty to hide." Alex tilted his head, "I do not know why you are thanking me... I am just talking the truth." He looked up at her. Alex nodded, "But you do... you make me incredibly nervous..." He chuckled and smiled at her. He relaxed and watched her.

"Ooooh... well you never said that information." He chuckled and stuck his tongue out at her, teasing her. Alex reached for her hand, "Well, I am not married... as far as I know... I mean I could have gotten married in India." He winked and teased with a cocky smile. "Though I kinda like someone right now so probably not... thing is I am not 100% sure that she likes me back, ya know?" He looked at her and tilted his head.

Jasmine heard what he said and it made her hide even more. She shook her head and still kept her head in her hands. "No no no I am not that pretty." she counteracted. "You know you make me have butterflies and make me nervous but I think in a good way? I mean you make me feel alive like when I saw you just then I realized how much I missed you. I think the separation was good for us." she shrugged and wondered if he felt the same thing.

"Well you never asked for the information so I never said it.." Jasmine smiled coyly. She was teasing a little bit. Oooh so he wasn't married good information to know. "Why didn't you get married in India?" An excellent question that was. "Aaahh and who is this person?" she asked curiously.

He chuckled at her hiding, thinking it was extremely adorable. Alex watched her with a light smile, admiring how the light played on her hair. "No, you're not... You are way more beautiful... but sadly there is no language that has the right words to describe how gorgeous you are." He hid his smirk... He did truly mean it but the smirk was because he was kinda hoping that she would turn bright red to it and that just made her cuter in his opinion. Alex tilted his head and nodded, "I am glad that you think that the butterflies are in a good way." He smiled at her, "I think the separation was good for us too... though I missed you terribly... I thought of you nearly everyday and wished that I could have sent you a letter but seeing you today... now... I just feel like I am back where I am suppose to be... It feels right..." He looked at her.

"That is true..." He stroked his stubble... already having a 5 o'clock shadow. Alex shrugged and chuckled, "The right lady wasn't there..." He ran a hand through his hair and glanced away a little. He shifted his weight to his other foot before looking at her. He had a lazy smile as he admired her beauty. He was a little red as he admitted, "Well... the person is you..." He smiled and took her hand, stroking the back of it gently with his thumb. "I know I have been away for a long time and I just got back... but would you like to... to..." He searched for the right words, "go out with me?" He glanced at her, obviously a little nervous. The cocky attitude wasn't showing at all like it usually did.

Jasmine just stood there wide eyed and he always had the right things to say. She shook her head and had to bring herself back to reality, "Did you have girlfriends before me? I mean you say all the right things I am surprised no girls are all over you." I mean that is why her rambling brain was thinking right now. Jasmine beamed and nodded, "It does feel right but like I am shocked at why you picked me of all girls..." she squirmed and her self esteem wasn't that great when it came to guys.

She saw him stroke his stubble and it just made her heart rate increase to a whole another level. You know the saying love at first sight? Well Jasmine was feeling it now. So the person is her? She couldn't believe it and she thought things were rushing too fast but she was going to take her friends advice and jump in. I mean if they didn't work out, she would have given him a chance at least right? She stood there opened mouth and couldn't believe he asked her first. She stood there wide eyed for a seconds and then muttered words like, "Yes...yes..yes! I would love to go out with you. But as long as we go slow and don't rush into anything.." she added hastily. She did want this to last.

She finally had a boyfriend now. SQQUUEEEEE!!!!!

He smiled at her being wide eyed. Alex shrugged, "Maybe one or two throughout the years but nothing serious... just at wizarding school so not really..." He didn't know if she would count that as having girlfriends because can teens really date seriously? He smiled a little, "I guess most girl don't get to see me like you do... I get called a jerk a lot..." He shrugged and smiled at her. "Because you are not like other girls... you are special... you make my heart beat all funny."

He watched her, waiting on her to answer. His hand stroked his stubble a little then alternated to ruffling his hair. Alex beamed at what she said then nodded at the hastily added part. "We can go as fast or as slow as you desire, Jazz." He smiled and looked at her, I do not want to make you uncomfortable." Alex nodded and looked at her. He felt like breaking out in dance out of how happy he was that she said yes. He did not want to admit how many times he played this situation over in his head... each time he imagined her looking at him in disgust, slapping him then storming out... but she did NOT do that instead she said YES! He had a huge grin on his face at her answer and felt like twirling her around but held that urge back because he might get carried away if he did.

After a few moments of doing a mental happy dance, he looked at her. "Where and when would you like our first date?" He was going to let her take the lead and set the pace so that it would go at a comfortable pace for her. He did not want to mess this up. He liked her... like a lot and he wanted this to last though he was not a pushover... he was just trying to make her happy.

After she said yes to being his girlfriend, she waited a fraction of a second to see his reaction and he was beaming ear to ear. Now where to go on their first date? She pondered this and she was a nature type of person. "How about a picnic at the park?" she suggested.

He beamed at her. The sappy grin that was on his face grew as she blushed, "I love when you blush. It makes you even more adorable which seems impossible since you are already the prettiest girl I know." Alex chuckled and kept smiling at her, "Oh you will?" Then her lips touched his and his heart leap with joy. He kissed her back just as soft. "Anything for you, my dear." Alex was head over heels right now and his happiness grew as she hugged him. He wrapped his arms around her gently and held her, loving that she was in his arms. Alex stroked her hair and smiled at her.

"A picnic at the park sounds heavenly, Jazz." He smiled, loving nature. Alex still held her. "I apologize for asking you in such a place... but I felt like this would be the only private...ish... type place around the ministry and I didnt want you to feel pressured into an answer..." He blushed as he explained.

Jasmine snorted and knew it wasn't true. "Nahh my blushing makes me feel like I look like a red tomato." she joked and hid her face. As she kissed him, she felt him kiss back and it felt just right. She smiled ear from ear when he commented saying anything for you. He was just a smooth talker that is what he was. As she hugged him, she felt him stroke her hair and it felt amazing. She closed her eyes at his touch and relished it.

Jazz grinned and was pleased with Alex's answer. "Alright then a picnic date it is!" She couldn't wait. "Wanna do it tomorrow?" She needed to buy the supplies and such. She saw her boyfriend. Woah wait a minute. Now that was new to call him a boyfriend. She beamed with pride. She saw her boyfriend blush and she chuckled. It was cute to see him blush too.

He chuckled at her snort, thinking it was absolutely adorable like everything else about her. "Maybe I like red tomatoes?" Alex smirked a little, teasing her with a half smile half smirk. He ran a hand through his hair and looked at her. He still held her, loving the moment. Alex went back to gently running his hand through her hair again.

"Hmm! Hopefully the weather is as beautiful as you are though that is hard to do." He smiled at her, "Though if it does rain, we could enjoy it and dance in it or we could make it an indoor picnic date and have it at my house with some candles..." He shrugged, "Though if you prefer normal lights, that would be fine too... I just hardly use them since I like natural lights... less harsh that way I think..." He grimaced slightly, "That is weird though... isnt it?" He blushed a little though he hid it and chuckled.

Jazz smiled and laughed, "Well I don't like red tomatoes people look at me weirdly when I blush.." she began to look around and see if anyone noticed her. She felt Alex run his hands through her hair and it made her feel calm. She closed her eyes and relished the moment. It made all her worries go away. Jazz saw the weather today and he did have a good point. "Do you know what the weather will be like tomorrow?" She hoped it would be sunny. But if all else she agreed with his plan to have an indoor picnic date.

Jazz shook his head and didn't think it was weird at all. "Nope I find it romantic that you would care about the lighting. Are you suggesting having a date at your house? Because if you are I am all for it." she grinned.

He chuckled and held her, "that's because they never seen an angel blush before... I personally love when you blush... it's absolutely adorable just like that tiny snort you do..." Alex teased her with a slight smirk. He looked at her and just stayed like hewas, with her in his arms. He never been so happy to stand still before... Being with her makes him want to pause time forever and just soak in all this happiness. "I like being with you... you brighten a horrid day just with that pretty smile of yours..." He gently stroked her cheek with his thumb and kissed her forehead. He shrugged, "I think it said sunny but you can never trust a weatherman much, now can you?" Alex chuckled.

"I'm glad you find it romantic." He gently swayed with her. "I'm think... maybe I am..." Alex chuckled, "Not to brag or anything but i am a pretty good cook." He gave a slight smirk and looked at her. "And my desserts to to die for... I make mean bunuelos de vientos."

"Oh shush.." Jasmine said waving him when he attempted to tease her yet again. Jasmine blushed and smiled even more when she heard Alex's comment. She felt him stroke her cheek and her dimples were probably showing by how much smiling she was doing. She felt him kiss her forehead and she closed her eyes and loved the sweet gesture. "Nahh you can't. I wonder why people haven't had riots outside of their houses. I mean they get paid to make predictions." she laughed. "I wonder what their paycheck is like?" she asked curiously.

Jasmine kept swaying with him and loved this moment. "I always love the romantic stuff. I am cheesy like that. I especially love the Notebook movie.." she admitted. Oooohhh?? He was a good cook!? "Well then I have to try your dishes out. I gotta say I am a person who likes to eat." She is not ashamed to admit that. "I gotta say I love being with you and also talking to you. I just love these little moments. You don't judge me and we can talk for hours. I also love a hopeless romantic like you." she admitted just out loud. I mean he was giving her all these compliments. Might as well right?

Greg decided to go for a walk on his lunch break instead of going to bother Amethyst. He was pretty sure if he kept bothering her so she couldn't get work done she might make him go sleep on the sofa. Chuckling to himself he headed to a place of the ministry that he had actually never been in before. As he entered he saw the lights flicker and then go out. What....dang it. This is why he kept to what he knew.

"Hello?!" Greg called out trying to feel for the wall but getting himself turned around so badly that he didn't remember which way he had come. "Is there anyone here?" OH this was creepy. If he died here he was going to come back and haunt someone. Yup. For sure. Not to mention Amethyst would probably be devastated.

Logan had visited his sister Hazel on his lunch break and seeing as he had about half an hour left of his lunch he figured he could stretch his legs by exploring the lower levels of the ministry. After all Logan reasoned sooner or later he'd need to visit these places on offical buisness.

Somewhere during his walk he lost track of where he was going and how he got back to lifts. As the lights started to flicker on and off Logan's hand went to his wand in its wrist holster. Continuing forwards into what looked like a dungeon passage that hopefully lead somewhere good. He hadn't walked far before the lights flickering intensified and then went out all together. In the same process Logan managed to step wrongly which caused him to fall forwards, heaving out an "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!" into the darkness.

Greg's eyes widened...at least he thought they widened when he heard something that sounded like a shriek. He brought his hand up and waved it in front of his face but couldn't see a thing. He pulled out his wand and lit it after remembering he had a wand. It was surprising but he really never used it anymore since he lived near a bunch of muggles.

"He waved it around trying to look around and jumped when he saw an outline of someone..or something. "Please don't be a ghost, please don't be a ghost, please don't be a ghost." He whispered over and over as he approached it and touched what he hoped was it's shoulder. He jumped about sky high when it felt soft and warm like a person dropping his wand, "AHHHHHH!!" he yelled and backed into the wall that he didn't know was there hitting his elbow. "Son of a...." Grabbing his elbow he said many more colorful words.

Lying on the cold, stone floor Logan was wondering if he had managed to sprain his ankle considering the pain that shot out of his left foot. Pulling a hand through his tousled hair he was about to feel around in the dark for his wand when he heard mumblings behind him. It sounded like someone babbling something about ghosts. Ghosts which to Logan's knowledge lived on level 4 if anywhere in the ministry--.

His thoughts were interrupted as he felt a hand on his shoulder. Logan was about to turn to whoever was behind him when they yelled out loudly, backed backwards and then started to spit out many colourful words. Sighing silently he said quietly out into the dark. "When you're done spitting out your colourful words, I'd appreciate some help up. I think I might have sprained my foot." It'd be nice if the stranger could light up the dark too. Logan wasn't sure exactly where his own wand was at the moment.
