NAME: Althea Runa Scabior
PERSONAL HISTORY RELEVANT TO CAMPAIGN: Educator. Activist. Researcher. Philanthropist. Governor.

As a graduate of from The Egyptian Centre for Alchemical Studies and having earned a Wizarding University Degree in Magical Metallurgy and Advanced Experimental Charms in her youth, Education and self-empowerment has always been a particular focus for Scabior, both in her own personal development and in support of the development of others. She is a regular guest lecturer and inspirational speaker at many Wizarding Universities.

Scabior has worked as a charms and alchemy professor in magical schools and universities around the world since 2068 -including the United Kingdom's very own Hogwarts where she has been serving on the Board of Governors for ten years. Since 2075, Scabior has run the Fawley-Schirmer Foundation, a charitable organisation aimed at providing Internships, Apprenticeships, and Higher-level Wizarding Education at Universities for disadvantaged Wizarding youth.

She has ministry experience as a former Head of the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes under Greingoth's government, and provides ongoing support in this department as a consulting member of the Experimental Charms Committee. As such she maintains a finger on the magical pulse of Wizarding Britain and constantly makes use of her experience as a Ministry leader.

Currently she co-runs the publishing house Obscurus Books with her husband Everett Scabior, and they are raising two children together- her adopted son Kyroh, and daughter Jade.

PERSONAL STATEMENT: I believe I am an ideal to serve as the Minister of Magic because of my professional experience, my position within the Wizarding community, and because of my passion for fostering growth and development in our young people, who are our future.

As part of this future, I believe strongly that we should use our magic to help our planet and address environmental concerns. Sustainability is as important in the world around us as it is in our personal lives.

I am experienced in looking at the bigger picture. I believe in equal opportunity, hard work, a firm hand, and providing wizardkind -particularly young people- the opportunities to live and learn as effective members of an inclusive society.

NAME: Roxanne Carter

PERSONAL HISTORY RELEVANT TO CAMPAIGN: In 2061, Roxanne was hired as a receptionist in the Minister’s Office at the MACUSA. After a year in that job, she was promoted to the postion of Assistant Consultant to the Senior Undersecretary which required her to research laws to make sure that the office stayed in compliance with them. Three years later, she found herself working as the Head Consultant, a very rewarding job that earned her a lot of respect both among her peers and around the MACUSA.

After spending a highly successful fourteen years at MACUSA, Roxanne decided it was time for a change and applied for a job at the Ministry of Magic in Britain. She was offered and accepted a job as a Ministry Legislator in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, quite a change for the former Consultant. But she took to the new job like a fish to water. She was promoted to Ministry Prosecutor after many eventful years, which included the overthrowing of the Cult of Walpurgis (which she participated in). Not too long after that, she was promoted first to the post of Wizarding Director of Prosecution, then Head of the Department of Environmental Regulation and Protection.

Roxanne found her first year or so as department head a breeze, as then Minister Greingoth was an easy person to get along with. But things changed when his successor, Minister Kettleburn, came into office. The two were never able to see eye to eye, with Roxanne ultimately accepting a job as the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement in the French equivalent of the Ministry of Magic, where she has spent a highly successful and respected ten years.

PERSONAL STATEMENT: "If the people of Britain's Wizarding community will have me, I hope to bring my years of experience to the office of Minister of Magic. (Sweet and simple is always good, right?)"

NAME: Jorge Cristo De La Garza


PERSONAL HISTORY RELEVANT TO CAMPAIGN:
Jorge's interest in Politic came at an early age. He went to Uni in Spain to study Journalism and his focus was political journalism. His position in Rhonda's News gave him an opportunity to write stories about the Spanish ministry to help the community be more aware of what was going on and he helped uncover corruption that was in their MLE. His biggest moment was working with the Spanish ministry to help uncover and make the community aware of the where about of a Dark Wizard. Keeping the community safe was a big part of his passion.

Once at the Daily Prophet he worked on doing the same sort of stories. He became the Daily Prophet's Liaison to the Ministry where he was able to work first hand inside the ministry and get a feel of what was going on, but yet was removed enough to know what the public wanted and needed.

Currently he owns his own sports magazine and still works very closely with the Ministry Sports Department. Where he still visits the ministry and knows the things going on.


PERSONAL STATEMENT:
I, Jorge Cristo De La Garza feel that I am a good candidate to become your minister because I have studied not one, but two ministries in my career. I have seen the good and the bad and I have the ideas and the will to help keep what's great about our ministry great, but help mold and fix what needs fixed. I have the passion to work with both our community and our ministry workers to combine the thoughts, ideas, and hard work to make our entire community the best it can be. I know how to expand our business without emptying our wallets.

I have worked my way up from the bottom, so I know what working is all about. I was not handed anything in my career without taking the steps to earn it. As your minister I will remember this to make sure all wizards and witches get the chances to be successful.

Willow was thrown into the world of politics from a very early age. Born to a powerful mother who believed strongly in activism, Willie was taken along for the ride where she was exposed to both sides of the story. During her youth, Smith traveled with an organization dedicated to helping wizarding world issues rarely spoke about. Together they built a werewolf sanctuary, provided education to trolls in the mountains, and fought to stop the unjust practice of unnecessary use of mandrakes in potions. Following her graduation from her university with a degree in Sociology and Magical Relations, Smith took a job in the city hall of a small city in Ireland to study muggle politics from the inside. After working for the city for three years, Smith moved to another small town; however, this time it was in England. She was an advisor to the mayor for four years until Smith, herself, ran for mayor at the age of twenty-seven. Despite being the second runner-up, Smith did not feel defeated, but more inclined that she make it known that she listens to the people and would continue to serve them as best she could.

PERSONAL STATEMENT:
I may have started small, but I intend to make a big splash diving in to your needs. My mother taught me that power comes from the people. You, the people, are what makes change happen. I am only looking to be elected as your spokesperson. I look to be the voice of the working witches and wizards in our country, the voice of creatures and beings, the voice of the youth growing to be our future, and the voice of all that is magical.

NAME: Seth Alexander Paton

PERSONAL HISTORY RELEVANT TO CAMPAIGN: A youthful Seth Paton never saw himself a businessman as the world of his father, GalloLoans owner Michael Paton, never appealed to him. Upon graduating from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he worked numerous odd jobs until landing a gig as a model for Sleekeazy Incorporated, an open door that would eventually lead to great things.

After building a reputation as Sleekeazy's model with the most luscious crop of hair in the entire United Kingdom and being dubbed "Mr. Perfect" in their product advertisements, Paton then realized and set his eyes on the power of the business world and the amazing opportunities that came with it. While still modelling, he attended London WU and earned duel degrees in Business Administration & Management and Wizarding Communications. This helped him transition from a simple model to a salesman for the company.

Hardworking, innovative, adaptive to change, and understanding the system, he made an arguably fast climb up the corporate ladder. Within the span of about ten years, he went from salesman to Chief Marketing Officer. Working for the company has helped him develop various skills through his experiences cooperating with all kinds of people, instilling safe product testing methods, overseeing successful business operations, and more. Four years ago, in 2086, Paton was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Sleekeazy, Inc.

Today his eyes are on a new prize: the British Ministry of Magic. Paton sees room for improvement in multiple areas and believes he can assist the wizarding community in moving forward. He is married to St. Mungo's healer Vanessa Paton and has four children: Grace (step-daughter), Franklin (sixth year Gryffindor prefect), Harriet (first year Hufflepuff), and Coraline (St. Woboldo's pupil).

PERSONAL STATEMENT: I am not a man corrupted by the wishy-washy fine print of the political world. I am a businessman, an honest leader, someone who is goal-orientated and does what is necessary for the overall good of the company and its people. I look within and listen to those with concerns and ideas, taking each into consideration before acting so that an effective plan can follow. I seek to carry these attributes as your Minister for Magic, your spokesperson, so that we can carry our community forward with successful results.

NAME: Nolan Michael Reynolds
PERSONAL HISTORY RELEVANT TO CAMPAIGN: Nolan Reynolds has always been someone who wanted to try a little bit of everything. His resume is extensive and spans decades, covering everything from Ministry work to teaching Divination at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. One thing has remained consistent, though - Nolan's desire to help others as best he can. A Hufflepuff through and through, he is always looking for ways to help his community, and the next logical step for that is as Minister for Magic.

While teaching at Hogwarts, Nolan made sure to always have his door open for his students whenever they needed him, and he returned to serve the school once more as Vice President of Hogwarts Board of Governors. While on the Board, he fought to create more after school activities involving all the subjects to allow students more opportunities to explore their passions. He also served as Junior Undersecretary to the Minister, so he has experience in the Minister's office and knows how about the inner workings of the Minister's office. Most recently, he was the owner of Reynolds Secondhand Books, providing low cost alternatives for students struggling to pay for all their schoolbooks (and those folks looking for a discount!) before returning to the Ministry as a Spirit Liaison, a position he held many years ago before he became a professor.

Nolan has overcome a number of obstacles to get to where he is today, including the loss - and thankfully, the return - of his ability to use the "Inner Eye". He was also diagnosed with clinical anxiety which required him to re-evaluate how he handled his day to day life in order to cope with that. These struggles ultimately made him stronger, as he was able to overcome these obstacles and become a successful businessman, author, and father to six beautiful children.

PERSONAL STATEMENT: I pride myself in being well rounded, organized, and a champion for the people. I believe that every witch or wizard in our world deserves to live a happy and fulfilled life, and I will work tirelessly in order to achieve that and truly give back to our community. I care deeply about education and want to work with the staff at Hogwarts to continue expanding the subject matter students have access to so each child can explore their passions in a safe and secure environment. In addition I want to work with shopkeepers to make school supplies more affordable for those who may struggle to buy everything they need to be successful in education and I want to expand the scholarship opportunities available for graduating students who may be interested in University.

Outside of school, I believe the most important thing is a healthy mind and balance between work and play, and want to provide Ministry workers with resources to relax and "unwind" and take care of their mental health. Work balance will be extremely important - while our jobs should be a large part of our lives, taking time off and being able to pursue our passions outside of work is just as important. As Minister, I will assure that all complaints or issues people have within their departments are addressed in a timely manner so everyone involved can work together to create a constructive solution to the problem. No one would ever feel like their opinion or their role in a department does not matter, and when problems are addressed, I want people to know that they are heard.

These are just a few of the things I'd like to do to help our workers become happier employees and overall, happier citizens!

After graduating Hogwarts, Sophia got a job working in the CARICOM (Caribbean Community) Ministry of Magic in the Department of International Cooperation where she was a Personal Assistant for three years. Nearing her fourth year at the ministry she was promoted to the Head of Department position when the witch previously holding the position retired. A year later she met her husband, Minister of Foreign affairs in the MEU (Magical European Union) and she moved to Manchester, England. Not wanting to lose her expertise, CARICOM offered her the position of Ambassador to the MEU. During her tenure she started a charity "The Bellaire Foundation of Hope" (BFH). The charity focuses on finding and registering unregistered pure-blood families to help reduce cases of interbreeding with rural families trying to maintain bloodlines. Another branch of the foundation does mission trips across the world to magical orphanages, where they provide food and other necessities to the children. Sophia also had a short spell working at the Wizarding Ministry in London in the Magical Creatures department. She worked there for a year before being offered the job of Charms Professor at Hogwarts. She later assumed the role of Transfiguration professor and Deputy Head of the Slytherin House.

Sophia now serves on the Board of Governors for the Durmstrang Institute, as the Transfiguration Professor and as the Head of House for Vulpelara.

PERSONAL STATEMENT:

I am aware that our world and the prosperity of our world is bigger than one man or woman. My aim is, therefore, to unify the wizarding community and propel us forward into prosperity.

NAME: Cosgrach F. Culloden
PERSONAL HISTORY RELEVANT TO CAMPAIGN: Culloden has met 'responsibility for others' at an early age: he was the Head Boy at Hogwarts and after graduation, he worked at a muggle store for one year to save enough money to attend the university in the noble art of potions. After graduation, he became a part of a research group, of which he later became the director for a short while. With the group, he toured the world and gained invaluable experience about other countries' wizards and muggles alike, and he plans to use this knowledge should he become a minister.

After he quit the research group, he moved to Kazakhstan and he was a consultant to the minister for magic regarding magical science. He also served in the education board of Turkic Nations, where he advised on how to teach potions. Therefore, he could observe first-hand which strategies work in educating the youth.

He returned to the UK several years later and became the professor of potions at Hogwarts, a position he held for 6 years.

He currently holds a teaching position in the Wizarding University Edinburgh and regularly goes on conferences about potions abroad.

He is also fluent in Russian.

PERSONAL STATEMENT: I think that the youth is our future, and having worked with students for a considerable amount of time, I believe I am the person to bring forward creative and effective strategies to secure a good education and thus, future. I will be among the most passionate about ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the youth regardless of the result, but if I am elected, I believe I can be the most effective.

In addition, I have had the chance to observe several countries; therefore I believe I am also the person to develop international cooperation.

PERSONAL HISTORY RELEVANT TO CAMPAIGN:
As a graduate of Wizarding University in Italy, specializing in Ancient Pythagorean Theory and Cryptomancy, Josephina has always been an advocate for education and innovative research. Having spent almost two decades teaching youth in the subjects of Charms, Muggle studies and Arithmancy, Josephina knows that the heart and very future of the wizarding world rests with the young.

After the birth of her son in 2083, Nairne returned to her pre-teaching world of freelance research within the United Kingdom to be able to provide quality time with her offspring. Her special interests lie with cryptology, but she is very open to research involving muggles and their societies as well and believes strongly in the value of community.

PERSONAL STATEMENT:
While I might not have direct experience with the Ministry, I believe my experience with the Wizarding schools in two different countries as well as research travelling around the world would lend me the experience I need to be a successful Minister. I know the value of hardwork and leadership, and believe my experience outside the Ministry can lend itself to make the Ministry and Britain a great place to be a wizard/witch!
