Setting: Summer Ron is going into his 6th year Ron hated summer because he wasn't at Hogwarts with his best mate Harry and his friend Hermione who he secretly missed more it was awkward because they never got along. She was coming over at dinner time he pretended he couldn't have have cared less because he was the one that asked could Hermione come over, And he was sure that Fred, George and Ginny were all suspicious, perhaps Ginny more. They asked him questions and Fred and George kept on making kissing noises he just told them all to shut it. He knew Hermione was coming soon because it was almost dinner time because his stomach was rumbling. So he ran down stairs and walked in causally in the kitchen as if he never ran down the stairs
''RON DINN- Oh sorry I was just about to call you, Well sit down'' said Molly and Ron rolled his eyes as if she thought he didn't know that. He went over to one of the chairs and sat down Fred and George were there for dinner he couldn't wait untill he went to their shop
Just then then there was a knock on the door It has to be dad and Hermione thought Ron. Arthur opened the door ''Sorry were late'' Arthur took of his hat and put it on a muggle hat stand ''I had-'' he began ''Work at the ministry we all know it's like your only excuse'' said Fred while Hermione was left staring at them all probably feeling awkward. So Ron got up and walked over to her and then Ginny did the same ''Hi'' said Hermione and she wrapped her arms around him to give him a hug when she let go she went bright red and they were left staring at each other awkwardly. So Ginny hugged Hermione ''Good summer?'' asked Ginny ''Pretty good'' Hermione replied and they walked over to the table while chatting about summer. Girls thought Ron while he rolled his eyes.
He walked back to his seat and ate his dinner. When he was done he went to his bedroom and thought over things. | |

Chapter 6 The Hogwarts train
After sending the letter to Lavender he had an awfull feeling inside his chest wondering will this make Hermione jealous or not and he also felt bad because he was trying to make her jealous it was to much he had to scream shout say somthing ANYTHING! 'AHHHHHHHHHHH!' he said finally it was alright cause he was in his bedroom he stood up then sat down again thoughts rushing threw his brain. 'RON!!!!! COME DOWN HERE IT'S TIME TO GO TO KINGS CROSS' Mrs Weasley shouted at the top of her voice he opened the door stopped for a secand then closed the door and rushed down stairs.
''Okay is everyone ready?'' they all nodded they had cars to take them there the ministry's doing obviously because Harry was with them Ron and Harry put there trunks in the boot and hopped into the car ''Where did you get tthe cars?'' Harry asked. ''The ministry!'' and he looked at Harry he was probably embarressed he knew why the cars were here aswell Ron wasn't going to say it cause Harry was his best mate and he fully well known anyway.
When they arrived Harry and Ron were just done there disscussion about quidditch they got out took there trunks and ran into platform nine and three quarters then when they were done with there goodbyes they went on the train. Ron, Harry and Hermione bumped into Lavender brown Hermione's book fell and she bent down to get it ''Hi Ron!'' Lavender blushed and giggled and walked back to her compartment with Pavarti ''What was that about?'' Harry asked ''I dunno'' Ron lied before Hermione could answer ''I think she fancy's you Ron'' and she walked in front of them and into an empty compartment Ron rolled his eyes and Harry smiled. When they got into the compartment Hermione read her book and Harry and Ron had another disscusion about quidditch

Chapter 7 mission accomplished
Ron was only at Hogwarts a day and he couldn't take Lavender anymore it was driving him BONKERS!!!!!!!! She'd follow him everywhere except the boys dorm at least he got a proper sleep. But they had the same classes and Lavender would sit as colse to him as she could which was probably the worst thing she could possibly do!
Ron walked into the great hall with Harry and then he saw ready and pointed the other way but Hermione was there so he had to go sit. They sat at the Gryffindor table as far away from Lavender as he could! ''I'm bloody sick of her'' Ron said finally when he knew it was safe ''Oh Ron it's not that bad!'' Hermione looked much happier then she was when she walked in it mean't it was working and he just figured put that she hated Lavender he could have some fun with this ''Yeah your right now to think of it she's a really nice girl'' Harry and Hermione's mouths opened wide ''Let me get this strate you just said she was driving you crazy and now your saying you want to go out with her?'' Harry asked in conffusion Hermione not making eye contact at all which pleased him,
Ron nodded and got up ''I'm not as hungry as I thought'' he got up and walked out of the hall
