In Character (IC) :
•
Respect: This should be given to your Professor and classmates
at all times. If anyone presents a question you think is silly or has an obvious answer, please do not respond to them in a sarcastic manner or any other way that is considered rude. We are all here to unveil our Inner Eye and to spread positive energy. Should any question or instruction be posed to you by myself, and for some reason you are unclear of them, please let me know. It will be my pleasure to offer clarity.
•
Punctuality: It is important that you arrive at the designated lesson area at least five minutes ahead of the scheduled time. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in House point deduction.
•
Etiquette: A hand should be raised prior to answering a question or asking one of your own.
•
Preparation: At no time should a student arrive for a Divination lesson with necessities including textbooks, notebooks, wand, parchment and writing apparatus. When necessary, other materials will be provided to you. When attending classes, you are to bring along your utmost focus and a positive mindset.
•
Dress Code: School uniform, neat and clean at all times, is mandatory unless otherwise specified.
OUT OF CHARACTER (OOC) :
•
Post Titling: The Hogwarts RPG now allows a maximum of five student characters. In order to ensure avoiding any oversight with regard to the student attending the lesson, kindly title each post made in the lesson thread with your student’s name. You may also include their House but this is optional.
•
Rules: General SS Rules and
SS RPG Rules should be adhered to at all times.
•
Plagiarism: You may use the SS archives, other Harry Potter sites and Google but answers should always be provided in your own words.
•
Editing: Please DO NOT edit your post once you have posted unless it's to correct coding or spelling/grammar. I will know if you have. Proofreading your posts before submission goes a long way.
•
IC and OOC Consequences: IC rule breaking will be handled with IC punishments - which include point loss and detention. OOC rule breaking will be dealt with in OOC ways - including warnings and infractions. Do not mix IC situations with OOC ones. Sarika and I are different persons and I still love all of you, the RPers, no matter if Sarika reprimands your character.
•
Realism: While I cannot tell you how to RP your character, kindly keep in mind your character’s age and knowledge level. Younger students are not likely to know everything. The same goes for older students. More than having correct answers, I REALLY appreciate out-of-the-box thinking.
•
HAVE FUN! RPing is all about fun, and that is what I want for each of you to experience in the School RPG!
