As you enter, you notice that the center of the shop has been temporarily redecorated to hold its grand re-opening event. Couches and loveseats have been added around the store, as well as small, round tables filled with refreshments and snacks for the guests. The counter still sits at the heart of the shop, but several small gift bags, containing a number of products samples, have been added to it. All guests are invited to take one gift bag of beauty goodies to try out the new products. There are three different types of bags, a pink, a purple, and a white one, and all contain assorted products. The pink one contains: Bronze Me Golden, Not-so-sleeping beauty, Lash Blast Potion, Rapunzel Rapunzel, Flavour Changing Lip gloss by Ellsberry; The purple one contains: Humidity Immunity Potion, Perfect Vision Potion, Sunburn Unburn, Isphere Spectrum, Skin-Brightening Foundation Potion by Ellsberry; And finally the white one contains: Porcelain Perfect potion, Pimple Poofer, Heat Protection Potion, Hair colour changing potion, Gallerina Nail polish by Ellsberry. Feel free to look over them and choose whichever one you want!
At the center of the counter there is a large cauldron filled with beauty potions, enough of them to last for a whole year. If you're interested in it, ask the shopkeeper or her assistant about a raffle ticket. You might just be the lucky one to win enough potions to turn an entire hag colony into veelas. The aisles with all of the products are still easily accessible on the sides for people to browse through them, which they are encouraged to do. In the very back of the shop, against the magical beauty emergencies room, a podium has been added with two small displays, one on each side of the podium, with the name Ellsberry on it, containing several different products and small samples. For now, everyone is encouraged to come in, mingle, ask questions, and look around. The shopkeeper is standing by the front door awaiting her special guests...

Grabbing her side she tried giving Mia a look that said STOP that, but seeing how excited her friend looked she just grinned at her then turned back to the other woman. "It's nice to meet you Miss Toussaint," or was it Mrs? Eh, not that it really mattered, Marie was still being polite so all was good.
"No, I'm not really looking for anything in particular. Just looking to see if anything jumps out at me and says 'Buy Me'."

There were also gift bags of beauty goodies, she took a pink one for herself and wandered into one of the love seats to examine what it had inside. A quick look over the room assured her that Nikos wasn't there yet, they agreed to meet there since he was coming straight from work, so she dived into the gift bag, pinking up small bottles and reading their labels. "Hmmmm... interesting!"
It wasn't that Nikolaos had particularity wanted to visit Primpernelle's (what use did he have for beauty potions?), just that she'd seemed rather interested in the grand event when telling him about it, and he didn't want her hanging around the apartment just because he was back. So it was off to Diagon Alley to be surrounded by more people than he cared to be.
He moved through the crowd rather easily for one so tall, hands shoved in his pockets as he sent distracted greetings to whoever happened to brush against him, a slightly confused grin settling on his features when he finally spotted her off in the seating area. "If I knew you'd just end up sitting at this party, I would have suggested us doing something else." Something where he could have her all to himself. He removed a hand from his pocket and offered it to her with a grin. "And I would have dressed more casual. Anything interesting in that bag?"

Good going Bennett...real smooth there. For once it was the YATI who was flustered and he then turned properly, prepared to walk away.

In all the awkwardness Kyle almost didn't notice that her former Professor had acknowledged her. Almost.
Smiling over to Lafay as she heard her name.

Pouting? She was pouting.
It was then that she spotted where Neptune had looked - she moved to open her mouth to speak when she heard what Rodrigo was asking. “I-i don’t really know - I think if I told myself I used it even if it didn’t actually work literally it would work figuratively in the idea that if I think I took it i’ll act more confidently” she smiled over to him. “We are right next to the eye - things? You could do an eye color changing potion - I might for halloween at least” she smiled. “Might change them to something garish and creepy like bright bubble gum pink or something...no thats just wrong” she shrugged her shoulder. It was an idea at least.
Glancing back over to Simon she couldn’t help but notice he had nearly tripped into a display.
Turning back to Rodrigo asked if she would like to join in on the search for Ellsberry products she smiled over to them. “I till uh - I just am going to make sure my friend over there is alright and maybe join you in a moment?” She offered with a smile.
“Ah yeah - I do he’s my friend Simon Bennett he’s in the Youth Auror Training Initiative” she smiled over to Rodrigo. “He also went to school with us he’s the former Gryffindor Quidditch captain” oh had she blushed when speaking about Simon. Yes. Obviously. When Simon appeared closer to the group and apologized for intruding she couldn’t help but frown. he hadn’t intruded, or at least she thought that.
Watching as he nearly tripped she jumped forward stumbling a bit as she did so - but keeping her footing. “You can’t go clumsy on me Bennett” she chuckled, “if you do I don’t think I’d be able to pull off a daring rescue without miffing it up” oh god. Yes. “Its like you are channeling me really” she chuckled - a little more giggly this time. "Join us were were just going to uh look at some products" she smiled biting the bottom of the lip lightly as she glanced over to him.

Neptune Bott knew when she was being appeased. She was definitely being appeased. She let Roderigo go on and on, about how he was sorry, explanations, yada and so forth, then endured Kyleigh's floral comments (What? No.). And apparently, Kyleigh was familiar with the YATI. "Oh that's tragic," Neptune whispered theatrically into the ear of Roderigo. She snorted when Simon tripped. See? Tragic. "That's alright, Roddy. There's lots of other girls you can buy glitter for. Lots of them."
Neptune was less forgiving of Simon's intrusion. She had, after all, been working MAGIC here. She looped her arm with Roddy and gave Kyleigh a bit of an indignant sniff.

He had after all admittedly spent more time with Jimmy Wilkes then with her. " I guess I'll see you later," he added looking back at Kyle taking his leave of the group and heading towards another part of the store.

She turned back towards Simon in time to see him looking back at her. Breath catching - she had noticed how different the look was - it wasn't what she had seen earlier that day.
Biting the inside of her cheek she quickly turned and began to follow after him. Potion still in hand. "Simon" she bit her lip. I need to get chapstick... She thought and stood there near him. "W-when you get done with whatever you have to do here do you want to er - go for a walk at the park?" she asked. "This p-puh-puh-place is making me need to sneeze" she crinkled her nose.
Eyes watering. It was too late.
AHchoooooo.
Rodrigo suppressed a chuckle, by turning it into a cough, when Simon almost tripped into a display. The man did look familiar. And there. Kyleigh explained it all to him.
"I knew he looked familiar," he nodded. He probably would have recognized him better had he not be foolish and missed the tryouts for the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team. But he then remembered that he did see him at the Ministry. After all, they worked in the same Department. However, the Spaniard couldn't shake the feeling that something odd was going on.
So his feelings were confirmed. Simon was awkwardly stalking staying near Neptune, Kyleigh, and himself. And Neptune was visibly upset. He replayed the evening's events in his mind and he realized he had come off quite brash, disregarding her motives for her behavior. But he couldn't help but laugh when the woman jumped behind him and grabbed his dress robes.
"It's alright," he said before she realized it was Simon.
He turned his attention to Simon. He had mentioned how the entire department was to protect the guests and all. But Rodrigo, being part of the department himself, knew that was not true, and that it was only the Hit Wizards who were required to attend. The rest of the department's employees were advised to go. But he decided against raising that subject.
He frowned when Kyleigh decided to leave and join Simon. Frankly, he thought he was just being friendly to her. He shook his head and turned back to Neptune.
"I apologize," he said sincerely. He unfastened his dress robes; he was starting to feel quite warm in the stuffy room, especially as more people joined the room.
"These are mine," Ellsworth agreed with a pleased smile. "I'm glad you found some of our Galleria nail polish. I don't believe Primpy's is carrying that line, but we have several of our favorite shades in the Ellsberry display. Did you see the green and gray argyle? Very Slytherin, in my opinion."
Although... she wasn't sure if either of the girls was looking to be more Slytherin. Ells glanced briefly at her sister Neptune, who WOULD know... but she was busy rubbing glitter on people again.
But perfume! She could talk perfume. "We do have a male scent. It's very distinguished and masculine. Makes me think of one of those gentleman thieves in the old Muggle movies. The type you know you'd be terrified of if you met him in real life, but on the screen, you just hope he gets away with the diamonds and the girl." She was chattering.
Mia made a mental note to remember the Ellsberry line for her future purchases. She had never really been a big buyer of make-up, preferring the natural look but her job required her to pretty much look good all the time. She seriously had so much to learn about this industry. As Ellsworth chattered on, Mia looked at Marie. "Did you hear that? They do have green." Somehow they had missed it but that should make her friend happy.
Not as happy as Mia was right now listening to Ellsworth talk about perfumes annnnnnd muggle movies. "Oh my gosh. Do you have one that one would remind me of pirates. I love me a good pirate movie. Tight pants, bare chests and an eye patch." She let out a dreamy sigh. She could just see Nik as a pirate.
Giving herself a little shake, Mia gave Ellsworth a sheepish smile. "Sorry about that. I tend to get a little carried away. But I am most interested to see your range."

Yep, impulse buying.
She could go home and paint Emma's nails. Get the girl use to the colors of the house she was going to be in when it was time for her to go to Hogwarts.
Pirates?
Marie looked at Mia with a raised eyebrow. "Pirates Mia? You want Nik to smell like a dirty, nasty pirate?" Now that would definitely be something Marie would pass on... if they even had such a thing. She wanted her husband to smell desirable, not repulsive.

"Woah!" she exclaimed surprised, she had the feeling he would be able to tell by her face that she was somewhat fantasizing with the both of them being strangely compelled to each other because of the beautifying potions " No, not really..." she tried in a casual voice, ignoring the tinny provocation he sent her way, but failing completely "... actually... " she took his hand, standing up from the couch and getting face to face with him " everything here is interesting, at least for me - - and I apologize about talking to you about this - but you know I'm into beauty products, make up and stuff ... " she held his hand on her.
She observed how fancy he was dressed, she didn't have much chances to see him like that lately, but he looked nice as he always did. Actually, she didn't have much chances to see him at all lately.
"You look good" she said, a deeper meaning to those words than she cared to admite.

"Thank you" eyes looking down at her feet for a second, then quickly moving up at his questions " I think we should mingle first, shopping later other wise I'll be fully packed with bags in no time..." she giggled at the image that crossed her mind, Nikos with big bags on both his arms, she half running through the store buying every single bottle in a frenzy of shopahoolic consumism.
" But while we search for these special guests, why don't you tell me how this last trip you had went? "

"Who does he belong to?" she asked stepping away from his hands. She was not dressed for toddler time.
Aaah. Okay. So Ella did know of this woman. It was nice for her to come see how her competition was doing. Ella personally quite liked Ellsberry products, and was very happy to be selling them in the store. She knew they were going to be a big hit. The whole shop was going to be a big hit really. "Yes....her line is pretty amazing, I'm sure it's going to be a big hit." Of course Ella was going to find the line amazing though, she was here to sell it. "Everything we sell her at Primpernelle's is pretty amazing though." Yup. Bigging up the shop a little, but it was her job.
Hmm. Ella did notice how Paris took a step away from Hudson. Interesting. Was she woman scared that Hudson was going to do something. She smiled down at Hudson once more before looking up at Paris. Who did he belong too? "He's mine..." That was the first thing that came out of her mouth. Although she did realise that really he didn't actually belong to her. Not really. "Well..." "Simon...," Neptune answered him back with her own little version of a polite bow. Sort of. Mostly she was still unforgiving in his direction.

"I apologize," he said sincerely. He unfastened his dress robes; he was starting to feel quite warm in the stuffy room, especially as more people joined the room.

Chelsea slipped into the doors of Primpernelle's she looked around and spotted the few people she knew. She hadn't met the new Minister of Magic or his wife yet - but glancing around the other fashionably late lady smiled when she spotted who she heard was here.

She hadn't seen Dean in son long. Carefully walking over so he didn't see her she tapped the unsuspecting man on the shoulder and began to immediately speak trying to disguise her obvious voice.
"Excuse me do you work here" she asked knowing he'd turn to see who was talking to him or already had seen her. Either way he'd be happy to see her. "I'm thinking of getting something for my boyfriend but I haven't seen him in such a longtime and don't know what he would like."
She smirked.
Still hasn't seen the Minister and the First Lady yet, Dean glances around to look for them. He could've enjoyed this, but today is the day where he has to guard the Minister and his wife. But still, doesn't mean he can't get something for Chelsea. As he checks out the shelves near the window, a familiar figure passes by. Dean smiles, having the exact idea who it is.
Feeling a tap on his shoulder continued by a horrible attempt to alter her voice, the hit wizard slowly turns around. "I have no idea, Miss Payne. What do you think he'd like?" he chuckles. "And for the record, I'm not getting a part time job here." He continues, his both hands holds the woman's shoulder firmly, but gently.

When Kyleigh looked back she couldn't help but catch the little bit of a frown. What was that about? She was just walking over to talk to a friend and she'd join up with them later - maybe...if the sneezing abated.

After all the girl had forgotten to take another dose of the anti-allergen potion she had concocted a year ago. It must have warn off by now.
Someone - anyone in this room, or even any product must have contained Rose water. That was brilliant. Being at an astounded beauty shop and not being able to be there because of well - allergies.

When Dean firmly held onto her shoulders she couldn't help but smile. "I am glad you aren't working here - it would be a waste of those amazing Law Enforcement skills...and what is this I hear of your promotion - we do need to celebrate that somehow" she smiled over to him.

The light reference to no life threatening injuries was not ignored by Kat " Were you hurt ?! " she asked, worried that he had some major scar she had overlook on her primary inspection of his looks, she took her hand from his and grabbed the sides of his face, looking into his eyes, and analysing his skin " What happened ?! " she insisted, sounding strained by emotion.
She did not care for how she had been doing, if he was hurt somehow it didn't matter. Boggers, she knew something was bound to happen since his work was related with Magical Creatures, she just always hopped for the best and the best normally happened, but somehow, this last trip of his, left her with a sour taste in the back of her tongue and she felt restless for the hole extension of his travel.
"It's all my fault, I should have been a better roommate, if I were you wouldn't travel all the time " she made a little sad face, but quickly returned to the concerned expression, eager to know what happened exactly.

Alexander gave the Grey woman a grin, yet it was a certain type of grin. It was one that said 'you clearly know my motives more than I thought you would'. Of course he was here for image purposes. Why else would he need to show up at the opening of a beauty potions store? Or show up at all? "Well," he said, his tone indicating that he'd likely brush off her comment for his own sake, "nothing like another business to help put our economy up where it should be." Simply put. No indication that he either agreed or disagreed with what she'd said about his motives.
There were, though, parts of the conversation he did want to reply to. "I wasn't aware you were considering leaving the school," he said, turning toward Hecate. Had they discussed this? Not that they had to, as she was free to make her own choices, but it'd just surprised him, that was all.
"A fan? Unlikely..." She said looking behind her. People who knew her close enough to be fans, know she didn't like that...
"Miss Dacosta," she said nodding, "a pleasure." She had to be polite, but she wasn't too concerned with the woman.
"Well, I wasn't going to until Sierra graduates at least... then I may think about it... I mean we can have a lab built at the cottage... and I can experiment at home..." And no longer be around those nasty kids...

"We have two, and I have no immediate plans to expand on that number," Ellsworth was just tired right now, and even seeing Cela and Cope toting around their little ones didn't give her urges for more. It did make her want to be at home in Katherine's nursery... but that would come later.
"Thank you, Paris. I appreciate the kind words. You should expect my owl in the next few weeks for sure." And it would be nice to get out of the house to somewhere that wasn't work.

Paris nodded, "Yes Ell has put together a fabulous line. I'm sure she is very proud. I would be." And that was the truth. Ellsworth was Paris competition, but Paris didn't look at her that way. The only person Paris was competing against was herself. She nodded again looking around little shop. "It is a cute little shop," She agreed. She had never been in herself, but she heard good things.
Paris peered at the little boy. He was cute in a pint sized mussed sort of way."What's his name?" she asked being polite. Though seeing the little boy did make her think of Israel. And that made her heart skip a beat. Her own daughter was still in Ghana with her mother. "He certainly is a rather cute child." If he was a bit sticky.

He noted her wave to another man, but after noting that fellow's shoes - Dell disregarded him. Probably some work colleague. Perhaps he wouldn't come over.
After a quick scouting of the crowd, he finally noticed Layla, not so far away. Oh good, so he didn't show up so late where she'd completely left. With his grin brightening, he maneuvered his way over to her and some guy.
"Hey." he greeted just as brightly as he looked to her. "Wooooow! You look amazing." As she always did of course. Maybe he should apparate back home and change shoes. The twinge of being self-conscious about them now was bugging him. Oh look...
There was a guy there. "Hello." He nodded to the man. Whoever he was.
