Easily the smallest room in the building, Asami's office is a cozy room built into the mail room. If you've had the chance to visit the room when Trystan was manager, then you'll notice that not much has changed since the woman took over. The walls are still thin, and the door remains open and welcoming, but still do please knock on the doorframe before wandering in. Her desk is pushed up against the far wall, a familiar stack of papers sit on the edge in a tray that never empties. A large desk calendar is splayed across the surface, no longer stained by coffee rings, and accompanied by a few pictures of her family and friends. Behind the desk sits a filing cabinet with a potted plant settled on the top along with a small enchanted clock. The walls have been painted blue to make the small space appear larger than it seems, and rarely will you find the window by her desk shut as she is quite fond of the fresh air that fills the cozy space.
Scattered across the walls, in a seemingly pell-mell fashion, are several large posters. To the left of the door is a large world map taped to the drywall; yellowed with age, it seems insignificant until one takes notice to the marks on it. Asami, as her boss before her did, uses this map to track several different things. And if she ever has the time, she'll gladly divulge into the purpose and meaning of the moving, blinking black spots. Please have a seat in one of the comfortable chairs across from her desk. Even if you don't knock, she'll notice you, but it'll be a while.
Aglaia has yet to be bothered with redecorating her new office. Everything is still in boxes, and the only things on the walls currently are posters that she's certain are permanently charmed there. The blinking black spots were once annoying, but she's learned to ignore them. Door's locked, she doesn't spend much time here.

Asami walked into the office, and removed her messenger bag and placed it beside her seat as she sat down and crossed her legs. Making herself comfortable, she let her eyes wonder around the office , settling on the large map as she waited for the man to be seated. She had relaxed some now that the job was practicaly in the bag.

Left eye. Left eye. TJ rubbed hurriedly at it as he followed the young woman into the office, getting most of the soot off (finally) as he closed the door.
"I apologise for the... well the circumstances." The whole him shouting into the floo thing that had happened. That was not a normal thing. Rare were the times that TJ lost his temper. "Now... you were here for a job. You said you had no prior work experience?"
He circled around the desk and dropped heavily into the chair behind it, reaching for a quill and a spare sheet of paper. He'd need to get all this down for the hire file, after all.

She waved off the apology as he settled down into his chair. "No apologie's necessary." Whoever this exworker was, obviously deserved the yeling he or she got. Head nodding again, she tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear before speaking. "That's correct. I went to University once I graduated from Beauxbatons. Got my degree in Astronomy." Which in no way would help her with this job.
Hmm. He was writing, should she be doing to same? Well when the time came she would pull out her quill and parchement. Though she wasn't even sure she had a clean piece of parchement in her bag.

Leaning forward, she shook his hand before pulling back and moving back to her previous position. Hmm. Now her hands held a bit of soot.
She pulled a handkerchief from her bag and wiped her hands clean. Not that she was a germ a phobe, but this was one of her favorite skirts.
Why did she want to work here? "Well," She paused for a better choice of words. "I've always had a intrest in Post Offices since I was little, both muggle and wizard. Yes, I am exceptional in Mathmatics. And my owl handling skills...."Are extremely lacking?"I've never really worked with them much, just the ones at my schools, but like I stated before....I'm a fast learner."

Hmmm. So her owl-handling skills were... sub-par. But his own had been when he'd started working here years ago. So it wasn't like that was something that couldn't be fixed. Tapping his chin, TJ surveyed the young woman with a steady gaze.
"I think... maybe... Hmmm."
He handed the parchment across the desk to her, as well as the self-inking quill.
"Write down your vitals... make sure I spelled your name correct, add your birthdate, city of residence, things like that. I'll be right back."
Standing quickly, he slipped out the door. He had something to fetch. Heh.

Asami chewed softly on the tip of her glasses, watching Park leave and curious as to his reason for leaving before placing them on her eyes and turning to the parchement.
Vitals. Hmm, lets see...
She began to scribble down a few things she found important for the job and double checking his spelling before sliding the parchement back over to his side of the desk. Then she sat bouncing her crossed leg while she waited patently, eyes and thoughts wondering.
SPOILER!!: Vitals and whatnots

Reason: changing location ;)
The man behind the desk sank deeper into his seat, frowning as he pushed his glasses up his face once more. He held a letter in his hand; the contents were obviously far from pleasing. The creases were deepened, as if it had been folded and unfolded a great many times. The letter was, in fact, about a week old, but TJ had read it so many times that it was beginning to wear out.
He was coming today.
And TJ hadn't told the employees.
He'd been hoping to put it off as long as possible, really. It... this... hmmmm. Looking up at the door, both expectant and unhappy, he waited for the two young women.

Looking happy and cheerfull Leticia was playing with those little cute owls when she heard that her boss was calling them in his office. Hmm...was something wrong? She did not know. Perhaps he was only going to inform them about...well...about something, perhaps, new. Who knew?
So she skated, she was wearing roller blades instead of shoes as usual, to the office, sloely opened the door and rushed inside. And a few moments passed before she realised what she had done. She had just rushed in the boss' office without even knocking the door. Eeep. ''Oh. I am sorry'' she said quickly with a huge sweet smile ''I should have knocked but i...um...forgot. I am sorry''

Asami was content to let her coworker play with the owls while she spent her break in supply closet reading a copy of the Prophet. When she heard the boss call them into the office, she took her time making her way out of the closet, letting skating!Leticia roll in first as to not cause any collisions.
Did not wanna fall on the poop riddled floor.
She stepped into the office, not far behind Leticia, curious as to what he needed with the both of them as she quietly shut the door. Allowing a small smile to creep onto her face. "Everything fine, Mr. Park?" The woman descended into one of the chairs opposite of the man.

A tight smile attempted to make its way to TJ's face, but really, it ended with a grimace.
"No worries, Let. I need you here anyway..." Eyes ranged between the both of them, and he cleared his throat. His gaze lingered on first Leticia, then Asami, and idly he wondered... how this would go.
"I'm being temporarily transferred." There. He'd said it. It almost felt comparable to ripping a band-aid off. "There's another branch what needs my help for a few months... their head worker lost his mind and there's so much that needs straightening out..."
He looked back to the letter in his hand.
"While I'm gone, they've asked an old coworker of mine to step in he-"
The door opened, with little regard for anyone standing near it, and Trystan did his best to keep the annoyed look off his face. The giant of a man framed in the doorway merely grinned, his unnaturally blue eyes amused at the scene before him. TJ motioned toward him helplessly.
"Ladies-"
"Still here? Thought you'd have gone by now," the man interrupted, stepping into the office. The cramped space grew even more stuffy with his added 6'4" frame. Disregarding that, he let his gaze travel around the cluttered office. "...wow."
-he haaaaaaaated being interrupted.
"Ladies," he started again, pointedly staring at the man. "Meet Jackson Oleander, my replacement for the foreseeable future."
...if he fired any of his employees, TJ would lose his mind.

Temporarily transferred.
Asami shifted in her seat, a small frown tugging at the corners of her lips. Why did they need her boss to fix the problems of another branch? It wasn't as if they didn't have others who were qualified to assist the post office.
This didn't sit well with her, but there wasn't much she could do about it.
Her attention and thoughts were diverted when the door swung open, gaze going to the tall man who welcomed himself into the office. He must be Trystan's replacement. No one else was foolish enough to walk around the private area's of the post office unwelcomed.
She tilted her head to the side, appraising the man for a brief moment, her eyes flicked to Trystan, before offering him her hand in greeting. A smile slowly emerging on her face. "Nice to meet you Mr. Oleander. I'm Asami Nakamura."

Temporarily transferred? That means he was leaving?
Letty's happy expression immediately turned to an upset one when she figured the meaning of what she had heard. Her boss was leaviiiiing! And a new one was replacing him. What if the new one did not want her in the office? What if he would not let her wear her roller blades? What if he would not tolerate her sudden acts like rushing into the office without knocking? And worst of all what if he fired her? She really needed that job! She had nothing else to do until her injured knee recovered so she could be back to the sports career.
Then the young woman snapped out of those thoughts when some man entered the room and spoke to her boss...well ex-boss. With widened eyes, she looked at the huge man as Trystan introduced him. ''Eh... hola!'' she said with a little forced smile slighty hesitating ''And i am Leticia Fernandez''

Pressing his lips into a thin line, Trystan shuffled through his papers, pulling a few from the stack. Eyes never strayed from the intruder in his office, and his employees; the entire thing made him squeamish.
But he had no choice in the matter.
"Asami, Let..." TJ stood, folding the selected pages before slipping out from behind the desk. "I have to go. Now." With a pointed look at Jackson, he stuck a small bit of paper onto the large map, pressing a pin firmly into it. "I'll be at that address... contact me if you need anything."
Giving each girl a gentle pat on the shoulder, he stepped up to Jackson. While a right sight shorter than his replacement, TJ nonetheless regarded him with a cold, pointed gaze, brown eyes hard. Jackson's blue merely looked amused as he looked down at TJ.
"They're good employees, and I expect you to treat them with respect." His voice was uncharacteristically sharp. "You've no authority to fire anyone, remember that. They're my employees."
With one last glance at the girls, TJ stepped out of the office. He could only hope things wouldn't go... er... awry.
...
Drama Queen.
Really, Trystan Park was the last person in the world that he wanted reminding him of things. A half-smile, more smug than one would think possible, lingered on the lips of the man who was now in charge of this place.
"Have a good trip, Trystan," he called out the door after the idiot.
And don't come back soon.
Regarding each of the young women before him, he clapped his hands together once and nodded. Offered hands went either ignored or missed.
"Er... yes. Hola. Nakamura and Fernandez." He didn't even bother to hide his amusement. "He would... he would."
Why were they still here?
"Well, ladies. You can call me Mr. Oleander-" more like WILL call, rather. He'd not be on a first-name basis with the help. "- and I will, as Trystan said, 'be your boss for the foreseeable future'."

Asami's eyes widened a bit as they drifted back to TJ when he stood, watching the her boss as he pinned a small piece of paper on the map. Eyes lingering on the paper. He was leaving now? Right this second? The woman suppressed a frown.
At least he was leaving them contact information.
Her expression did soften at the pat on the shoulder, and she smiled softly at her boss. The other man couldn't fire them. Good. GOOD. That was one major thing that he didn't have to worry about. Kinda needed this job.
"Have a safe trip..." She called after her boss, smile lingering until the man was out of the office.
Asami placed her hand back into her lap when the man ignored it. Eye brow arched and lips twitching into a frown. He would what?
She could tell that working under this man was going to be interesting, an experience she didn't want. she wouldn't be calling him 'boss' though. He was not her boss, Trystan was. This man was simply filling the position until Park could return.
Without another word or glance at the man, she stood and exited the office.
Hm. Finish break or work?

Leticia's dark eyes were only on Trystan, her real boss, during the time he was in the room. It was like she was scared to look at the other huge man. How could not she be scared? She even did not know what he thought about her roller blades. He was not going to give up her roller blades no matter what and as Trystan said he had no right to fire them. Hehe. Now that was good news but it was still a bittersweet happiness since her real boss had to leave. *wibble* ''I hope...'' she began ''...you will be safe and happy at where you have to be'' Did they say it that way? Letty was not sure but she knew he would understand what she meant.
She looked after the man as he left the room then he gave the huge man a quick nod when he said 'hola' to them completely ignoring the amusement in his tone. And nodding to the man's other words she did not lose any time to leave the room once they were dismissed.

Gregory nodded and headed in the direction Jackson had pointed out, and then into the office, hands shoved almost hastily into his pockets. He actually found this better, speaking infront of the customers could have been awkward --for him, anyway.
He didn't take a seat, just stood and waited for the other man to have followed, considering Gregory had gone ahead first.
Slipping into the office quietly behind Shanklish, Jackson pushed the door closed and locked it with a flick of his wand, even going so far as to put a charm on it so the employees couldn't eavesdrop.
What? He didn't know them very well. Who knew if they were lurkers who would press their ears against the door.
"Have a seat, Greg," he murmured, stepping around the desk and sinking into his own chair without waiting for the other man to sit. "How have you been?"
Small talk. He wouldn't make it with the other workers, but Gregory Shanklish was clearly a cut above those who already worked here.
See? Look, he hadn't even been waiting that long. When Gregory Shanklish waited for more than a minute, he seemed to get restless and chew at his inner mouth. Luckily, he hadn't even had to wait near that long. So his inner mouth, was certainly in luck. Indeedy.
Gregory nodded, as he watched the other man sit. "Been well. Just ... around. You know?" He remarked, with a shrug, as he did take a seat.
Just around. Not in the general vacinity, but around nonetheless.

Cadence marched up to the office entrance with a bright smile on her face, excited for her new job in the magical world. Well, hopefully it would be her new job. She was supposed to be here to meet with her new boss and talk about...stuff. Work stuff probably. Being officially hired stuff hopefully. She was quite excited for this job. She loved owls, and she'd sent a letter or two - or twenty - with her own owl, Ed, so this couldn't be too hard, right? She'd just be sending other peoples letters with owls that weren't her own. Not too much different, yeah? Yeah. Probably.
Cadie started humming softly to herself as she peered into the office room. Was her Boss Lady in here? Hmmmmm?

Asami had her chin resting in her palm, elbow to table while her other hand was busy scribbling down a few important notes. She'd been like this all morning, occasionally pausing in writing to take a sip of her coffee or stretch her hand. The owl post manager was so consumed by her work, that she didn't even notice the young woman standing at her office door. Busy busy bee.

Oooo, Boss Lady WAS in here! She seemed distracted though, writing stuff. She probably didn't even know Cadence was here. Buut that would change.
"Yoohooooo!" Cadence called in a sing-song voice, tapping lightly on the door with her knuckle as well. Hopefully this would get her attention. And hopefully it wouldn't, like, scare her or anything. Boss Lady seemed so engulfed in whatever it was she was writing, she might not have heard Cadence's not-very-quiet humming earlier when she first entered the building.

Asami hadn't heard the humming, she was that focused on her work. She'd also passed all noises off as one of the owls. They were the only ones here, who else would be making that noise?
Her head jerked up, eyes peering over the brim of her glasses.
Oh. She would be here.
"... Hello." Pause. "Can I help you?" It was possible that she'd forgotten about the meeting they'd had, and that her questioning look said just that. Had she left the door to the mail room unlocked again?

She WAS in the right place, wasn't she? Cadence cast a brief glance behind her. Yep, there was the Mail Room, and she could hear the hooting of owls from her - this had to be the Owl Post Office. Now the only question was, had she arrived at the correct time? Because it seemed like Boss Lady hadn't been expecting her. Hmm.
"I think I was supposed to meet with you here for a new job?" she said, ending it as more of a question than a statement. "My name's Cadence?" She figured adding her name might help, even if she sounded uncertain of it, because...because maybe there were lots of people trying to get this job! Oh no, Cadie really hoped not! If she didn't get this job, she didn't know WHAT she'd do!
Besides apply for another job, of course. But that was beside the point.
