Bradley grabbed his firewhiskey and went to sit outside. It was such a beautiful day out and he was going to enjoy it. He grabbed a spot at the nearest table and sat down, leaning back a bit in the chair. Sigh.

He'd been so busy lately. With the new work location and all of the crazy stuff going on at Hogwarts. It was nice just to be able to sit and have a drink without having to worry about anything. Brad's brain definitely needed the break from everything.

Summer. He loved summer. No school, no students to teach, no coworkers to be weirded out by. Just the summer sun and people that he actually liked to hang out with... Nah, Piers liked his job. But he certainly liked summer, too. It was just nice to relax after a good term of teaching.

So, that's why he was here. It was lunch time and the sun was out, so why not chill at the Leaky? Maybe do some shopping if he felt like it. The best part of summer was not having plans. Anything could happen.

But first, he needed some grub. After grabbing a turkey sandwich, some chips and a lemonade, Piers headed out to the courtyard, picked an empty table, and dug in. Food was good. Summer was good. Life was good.

Summer was lovely, on occasion with Javy. After everything lately though, he found that this summer was going to be quite marvelous, in fact. He had his good health and stress-less worries now.

Javy was enjoying the scenery now, enabling himself to get a soft cider before going to relax outdoors.. Well, well.. His blue eyes glanced through his shades at his friend, eating no less. "I certainly hope that you save me some." Pulling out a chair to sit by, because that sandwich looked mighty tasty now. "So what have you been up to, Piersie?" Yes, since he had his youthful look again that name had returned.

With a butterbeer in one hand and turkey sandwich in the other, Lux made her way to the courtyard outside The Leaky Cauldron.

She had a fun day in Diagon Alley, and now she was hungry and thirsty. Of course it would have been better to have a cucumber sandwich, but beggers can't be choosers, and that was not on the menu.

Finding an empty table out in the sun, Lux sat down and started to eat.

This was a darn good sandwich. Hogwarts food was good, but sometimes he just needed Leaky Cauldron food. It was good stuff. As he was chewing, he glanced around occasionally, seeing people walk in and out. The one he didn't see was the one out of the corner of his eye, where he wasn't focusing. Until that familiar voice asked for his food.

He finished chewing his bite as Javy took a seat. "And why would I do that?" Piersie liked his food. HIS food. Look at his buddy, all young and fancy and jazzed up again. Boy, it was good to be young again.

Piers took a sip of his lemonade. "Piersie," he said, "doesn't exist. However, Pierson Fuller has been enjoying the sunshine, the freedom, and the fact that if a student asks me a question, I don't have to answer them." Oh, the joys of summer. "What about you, Javy?" he asked, pronouncing the J as a J. Not an H.

It sure felt nice sitting here, right here in the baking sun. It was nice and hot. Javy then casually leaned back in the chair before resting his fancy shoes on the table, possibly near that food or not. And why would I do that? "Because you can't resist my handsome face looking so pitiful at you." Did he need to remove the sunglasses to show off them sad-misty looking eyes? It wouldn't take much effort to have tears spill with the brightness of the sun, after all. "Plus, those diapers I lent you weren't cheap."

Taking a sip of his cider, "Pish posh.." Yeah Piersie, don't deny your own nickname. The other part however, made Javy smile in irony. "Hmmm.. could've sworn that was my line to you back then." From those, you know, super crazy Hogwarts years as students instead of as teachers today. "Mm Javy doesn't exist either, Ha-vee on the other hand's been doing splendid.. I had gotten the last of my stuff from Lucrecia's." So yes, he was a free man too.

Kace was quite thirsty walking around Diagon Alley all day. He decided he would go into the Leaky Cauldron and have a little pumpkin juice or butterbeer. Eh he would decide eventually. As he made his way into the restaurant, he noticed a familiar face. It was Lux!

He smiled and went to go join her. She seemed lonely. He greeted her with, "Hey Stranger...why are you sitting by your lonesome?"

For anyone :D

With his dad having returned to his shop, and his mom out picking up a few things, Austin was allowed a few moments to himself. He lied down on a patch of grass, and looked up at the sky. He was about to start at Hogwarts in a month or two. He was going to learn how to fly around on a broomstick, change an animal into an object, and even send owls to his parents. Austin sighed at that thought. He knew his mom well, and he knew that she would want daily updates on how his classes were going, and what friends he made. At least he knew that he would always be getting mail.

Taking another bite of her sandwich, Lux was pleasantly surprised to hear Kace's voice. After swallowing the food in her mouth, she got up and gave him a hug. It was always amazing to see Kace, because he was so awesome. Emmy really had a good boyfriend, which was wonderful because otherwise Lux would have a problem with him.

As it was they were friends, which was wonderful!

"Hey! I was wondering where all my friends were!"

And if Javy knew anything about Piers (which he DID), he would know that Piers didn't share food unless he REALLY liked somebody, or he was full to the brim. And he was not full just yet.

That diaper comment got a back-handed whack to Javy's leg. "I didn't want your stupid diapers."

Hah, yeaaahh, that was true. Piers laughed at that one. Javy never did his homework for him helped him cheat do his homework back in their Hogwarts days. At least they didn't have to do homework anymore. They just had to grade it.

He sat down and wondered what she got. "What did you get there? That looks good." he said looking at the menu.

Laughing, Lux sat down again. Yes, it was awesome that he was here and he could keep her company as she ate her sandwich. "Ooh, did you buy anything interesting? I've been around too. I've seen Cinnamon and of course Bay." He was now an intern at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, and she was so excited for him because he was bound to have loads of fun there. She must visit him at work soon.

Brodie walked down the street with a smile carrying Josephine in his arms. He loved his little angel... He smiled at his daughter and started to hum to her as he sat down in the courtyard. This little one was his entire world, next to her mother of course... But Rachel didn't really seem to care for him anymore. He fought back a sigh thinking about his girlfriend, or fiance... or whatever she was to him right now. He wasn't really sure what to call it at the moment... But he had his daughter, and that always made him happy.

Leah could not believe that it had already been a year after her first trip to Diagon Alley. She had met her best friends here, and could not wait to meet more. She stepped out of the back door of Leaky Cauldron to the wide courtyard and breathed in fresh air. Butterbeer, the girl smelled Butterbeer from the flowers.

Leah plopped down on the green grass surrounding the huge fountain and glanced sideways. A boy was lying on the grass next to her looking up. "Hello there," she said to him, grinning. It was a nice day, and Leah definitely wanted to start conversation with this boy who could be her new friend. "I'm Leah. Nice to meet you." She wondered if this boy was going to Hogwarts.

He smiled, glad to have someone to talk to other than his parents, which he hoped would stay far away. "What brings you to Diagon Alley? Are you school shopping?" He tried not to sound too excited, but when you're a first year about to go to the most magical place, it's hard not to.

"Eh not really. I have not bought anything yet. I have to wait for my older sister and mom come here. They are going to apparate here soon." he shrugged. But he got here early because his grandma apparated here with him. They sometimes break the rules and he didn't mind it. They told his mom that they were taking a taxi but that was not fun.

Plus he wanted a little time to hang with his friends like Lux. Oh so the sandwich was Turkey? Hmm...he did like turkey but he wanted something different. Aww, that sucked. Even though she hadn't been in DA very long, Lux had still bought some stuff. Shopping really was fun now that she was a little older and girly. "Is there anywhere you want to go? Maybe we could go together." Unless he would rather go shopping with his family or Emmy.

Oooh, yummy. "That sounds like a good idea, and I might get another butterbeer." It was so good that she could not stop at just one. "Emmy? No, I haven't seen her anywhere." It was a little strange and she hoped that she wouldn't miss seeing one of her besties in Diagon Alley.

"Erm i was hoping to go to the Bowling Alley and bowl with some friends. But i didn't know how to contact you guys." Kace grinned and shrugged. He really wanted to bowl though. He want to practice.

Oh right! He wanted to get some pumpkin juice. "Hang on i will come with ya!" he called out. Once he got his pumpkin juice and felt better, he heard the answer to his question. So Emmy hadn't shown up yet. Well at least he didn't miss her. "Do you think she will be up for bowling and possibly Louis and your boyfriend Bay." he asked her.

With a new butterbeer, Lux felt happy. It really was an amazing drink. Taking a sip she listened as Kace talked about plans to go bowling. Wow, that was a lot of fun! She hadn't gone bowling since last year when Willa had took her. She was still mad at her sister, so the memory of it made her frown slightly.

"That sounds like a great idea! Hopefully we can all go." Even though Bay was interning, he still had free time.

Kace smiled and was glad she liked the idea. I mean it was hot outside so it seemed like the perfect place. It was air conditioned and doing a sport sounded like a perfect time. "I will tell you i am not the best bowler.." he grinned. "I might mess up a couple times. We might need the bumpers." he joked with her.

"So how has your summer been going so far?" he asked his best friend.

Piers snorted out a laugh. "I will. But out of the goodness of my handsome heart..." Piers scooted over his tray of chips to share with his friend. Because he wasn't totally evil. He learned how to share at a very young age and sometimes he actually did it.

"I was doing just fine without them." HE DID NOT NEED DIAPERS.

He continued to chew his sandwich while Javy explained the meeting with his ex-wife. They hadn't really talked about either of their experiences much, even though they seemed to have strangely similar timing. "Odd?" he repeated. "How so?" That wasn't the word he would have used if he were talking about his post-divorce meetings with Alex. Things were always tense between them.

Speaking of Alex. Piers cleared his throat and took one more sip of his drink. "Not really, no. The occasional letter, but... it's been a while." He never knew what to say or how to say it. He didn't even know if she wanted to talk to him at all. That's how tense things were, conversation was hard to come by, even after two years. "Don't even know if I should." How was he supposed to know? He was a first-time divorcee, man.

If there was anyone who deserved to be snorting, it was Javy at that sentence. His lips were threatening to open revealing the many cases and theories supporting how hearts can't be handsome. It was true, with factual evidence linking from the blooding pumping to-

Ah, food. Good man. Instead they curved into a small smile, "I knew you had it in you, thank you." Taking some to chew on right away. "Too bad the constant smell of your gas suggested otherwise." Of course, everyone knew what that was the first sign of.

Javy took his time chewing, how was it odd exactly? "Well, for starters it was quite awkward to be returning where I no longer stay at.. HE WAS NOT GASSY EITHER. "Javier Thompson, I swear," he said through his laughs, giving the man another solid whack, this time on his arm. He'd knock him down if he said one more thing about his old man-hood. "You have no room to talk, Professor Old-Man-Stench. Don't think I don't know why you had those diapers in the first place." Surely it was because HE had problems TOO.

Yeah, awkward was a good word for it. Stopping by your old place to pick up your belongings was terribly awkward, but Piers was glad he had done it all at the beginning. "I know what you mean," he said, albeit a bit quietly. Wow, how the time had flown. Pff. Single at Hogwarts again with him? Was that meant to be an insult? Pier laughed. "Believe me, mate, this isn't exactly how I saw my future going." And Piers was one who didn't even make plans.

"But, you have to admit," he added, pointing his finger, "Of all the people, I've gotta be the best guy to spend your single-hood with, eh?" Ehhh? Yeaaahh. Cue the ever-so charming grin.

Oh, Merlin. The Daily Prophet. "Oh, Merlin, don't remind me." He groaned. Bachelor of the Month. He wrinkled his nose at the thought. "D'you suppose anyone will... respond?" And, like... want to go on a date with them?
